Feel for the ppl on the train in the front..
I don't think I'll ever ride front row on an inverted coaster ever again. you never know who will decide to jump the fence and go after their keys, sunglasses, whatever
@@dindog22backs the best either way
@dindog22 my chewing gum!
@dindog22 not to mention stray birds. Look up Fabio hit by bird on roller-coaster and you'll see what I mean.
Probably hurt
Was your life worth it for those keys?
Natural selection. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Maga
Exactly.
@@williammay1986wtf does that have to do with anything
@@nathanwilliams6359idiots that don’t listen to rules, facts or reason. Stupid enough to jump a fence with a moving ride
And the stupid prize in this case is a Darwin Award.
Rule #1 don’t be entitled it could cost your life
38 years old you should know better!
Well he's gone now so no use in saying that
@@beyond.7449no use in not saying it either
I gave up a long time ago, believing most adults if not all know better
Stupid Is, as Stupid Does!! That's what it boils down to. He could have hung around Kings Island for a Measly Extra 2hrs, for the park to close. Employees would have finished cycling the last few riders on Banshee, THEN, and ONLY THEN, Ride employees, probably maintenance, would have went into the Restricted Area Safety, and would have definitely found the young man's car keys. All because of not wanting to follow Safety Protocols, it cost him his life. To jump over an 8ft tall fence, you know he had to get a running start to get over it. Now he's going to be 6ft under. This could have easily been avoided!!😡
He entered a restricted area....duh
Well what do you expect when you enter a restricted area at a coaster. That’s his fault sorry.
In this day and age, a 38 year old stayed alive so long without being able to determine what dangerous is.
I'm surprised he lasted this long
Fr
He taught his kids an ultimate life lesson.
His kids will grow to be just as self entitled as him. It’s a world problem not just his problem
@@Sufferinwithmat well, perhaps now without him there they might be less likely to follow his footsteps?
People will never learn areas are restricted for a reason they are dangerous. He could have saved his life by asking park authorities and this could have easily been prevented.
He did ask but he was told to wait till the ride closed but he did not wait
I guess he learned The hard way 🤦🏾
@@FunTownUSmakes me feel even less bad
@@laurencegamingya he learned for a second 😂😂😂
My heart goes out to him and his family...it is still devastating.. 🙏 cause losing a love one is especially hard when it's due to a tragic event...
I wish he would have recovered maybe it would had taught him a life lesson to be more patient . But sadly he died from the impact. Rest in peace
Darwin award winner.
That’s what I was thinking.
Found the sociopath
this reminds me when a boy got killed at six flags over Georgia when thur the fence at the Batman and lost his head
Not the roller coasters fault you play stupid games you win stupid prizes
My deepest condolences goes out to his family and friends. But, he is to blame for his own demies. Just, because. He couldn't wait until the end of day to get his keys back . He could of called a eber or family to come get him. If he wanted to leave. The could of come back at closing to get his key. When the workers could of safety retervied them.
Being, a ride operator. This is the major rules and protocols at all amusement parks. The fences are also put out around all ride's for a reason.
It because it off limits and dangerous to be where the ride travels. May he rest in peace. I hope others will learn now . The next time. We ride operator say we can't get your phone, keys or belongings until closing.
You will understand and stop fighting with us demanding us to shut the ride down and get your stuff back .This is why we also tell everyone to wear a pair of zipper pants , shorts or a fanny pack. To keep your belongings safe and secure.
Rest in peace 😢
You mean Rest in Peices
@@HurricanePatricknawww
@@HurricanePatrickSay that to his family. I dare you
Purchase a locker. It’s perfect for keys ets. And worth not losing your stuff
or have a zipper
If the employees are in their 20s they will be just fine. They're already making dark jokes and references to Darwin and rightfully so. It's a restricted area for a reason. They could retrieve his keys safely if he wasn't an imbecile.
I’m sorry but if he was stupid enough to climb over the railing, then it’s his own fault. Stupid is is stupid does
I feel for his family's loss, but honestly his decision is the reason he is gone today. This is common sense. I would have respected the RULES and waited for the park to close. This is a case of ignorance in my book. Now his family will try to sue the park over HIS idiotic choice...smh
My bsf watched this happen shes 15
Well, I bet he won't do that again
Really?
@@nancyfarkas3592ya really!
i mean no duh hes dead
Yea cause he’s dead.
I thought he would 🤔

That’s why I always bring a Fanny bag put loose articles in it and enjoy my day. Never have I had dropped anything from those rides. If I ever would and I’m told to wait till the end of the day to get my stuff that’s in a restricted area then I will do as I’m told. Come on dude where was your patients! Can u imagine if those keys somehow lodged itself on the track and that train hit those keys all those people could have died. These parks need to get stricter about allowing people on these rides with loose items in pockets.

Have destroyed the keys and that's really it nothing would cause it to derail
oh yea parks are becoming so strict that even a fanny bag isn’t allowed at some parks. all items need to go in a locker
@@coastingalong noooo wayyyy omg I’ve not been to any park I think last time was 2010 cedar point. Oh no that’s all I used was Fanny bag. Why can’t you use a Fanny bag? They are strapped around the waste. That makes no sense.
@@tararockrevivalbebe6427 yea i don’t really know. i just know there are certain parks like cedar point that don’t allow them anymore 😢
The amount of comments saying he deserved to die amaze me. Yes he was stupid for doing what he did but did he deserve to die? His children now have no father! Have some compassion for THEM at least! Sickos.
I wouldn't say anyone deserves to die but I think ppl are saying it could've easily been prevented and he lost his life over his own impatience
I say this is the park’s fault. They should have closed down the ride for a few minutes and get the man his keys.
@@GDoggy-em2xc pausing operations everytime someone loses something on a ride makes no sense in a busy amusement park and finding it would take over a hour. Also your not allowed to bring any loose items on this ride.
@@raelynn54
you should try reading peoples comments where they justify it
I don’t see any comments that said he deserved to die. I don’t think that is what people are saying at all. Of course he didn’t deserve to die. And nobody wanted this man hurt or worse. Ok! Nobody! I think people are outraged because of the chive he made which cost him his life.
I saw another comment where the park should have shut the ride down to go look for his keys. Well that isn’t reasonable because if they had to shut down a ride everytime a guest demanded it because they lost something, the ride would never be open. It’s not as simple as that. And if they did it may have taken them just a long to find the keys as it would if he just waited until the park closed. I believe people do have compassion for his kids and family just not for him. I mean personally o I didn’t want him to pass away. In fact I was hoping he recovered but it still doesn’t change the fact that he used extremely bad judgement to bypass the restricted area and start blindly searching for his keys while a huge and powerful roller coaster was active and running.
duh 😂
Oh shoot I forgot to shed tears for that person from idiotville😅
But you can feel sorry for his children who most likely witnessed their father be struck and now have no father! Have SOME compassion!
@@nancyfarkas3592 unlike most humans, I pick and choose who to be compassionate towards. I didn't know the guy's life so I really don't care
@@nancyfarkas3592obviously we feel bad for his family, but not for the idiot who chose his own death.
My family actually knew him not to personally, but I can guarantee you wouldn't say that to his face, and you can't judge a man for one wrong choice after all the way you talk I can garentee you made alot more mistakes in your life than he ever did
@@blueberrymuffin2609 most won't be so entitled to make such choices. It wasn't a mistake, it was a willful choice. Folks have to stop thinking rules don't apply to them! And yeah I would have looked him in the eye and said it.. because that's who I am!
"not the decision made"...
Yup.
"8 ft high fence you'd have to fall over"....
Yup.
Deceased....
Yup..
They should have shut the ride down for a few minutes and get the man his keys.
Not how it works. It requires and entire lockdown process involving multiple ride operators working the controls. He could have gotten his keys when the park closed.
Do you even know how operations for a coaster of that size works?? Not as simple as it seems. And it would have taken a lot longer than a few minutes to find the keys. It literally in some cases like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Yeah that's not how it works. He would have to wait until the end of the day until all the rides are shut down. To go retrieve the keys. He could have given his number when they found the keys. Then contact Uber or a friend to take him back home. Instead he hopped over an 8 foot fence and got himself killed.
Echoing everyone's comments. Not how it works. Besides, I guarantee he wasn't the only one that lost items on that ride on that day and those people had to wait as well. Throughout the day folks lose keys, phones, wallets, lip gloss, etc... The best solution is to properly secure your items or put them in a locker like the sign says as you enter the ride queue. It really isn't that hard.
As someone that works at a roller coaster no they shouldn't have. It would take much longer than a few minutes. Not to mention you're not allowed to bring loose articles on the ride in the first place as it could actually cause injury to others riding. And like others mentioned if parks did this for everyone that doesn't listen to the ride ops the ride would go down constantly. They're not gonna shut down the ride because someone didn't listen. also going over a barrier that has signs that tell you crossing the barrier could result in death. The park is not at fault at all. Parks don't need to accept this type of behavior. There is a whole process off entering these restrictive areas to keep the one entering it safe by locking out the ride with a lockout key ensuring the ride cannot move while they have the key. We need to spread the word that this behavior from guests needs to stop. I would think these incidents would make people open their eyes to listen to the ride operators.
