That's beautiful. I've never been there. I'd like to go one day. I made a willow arch once. It took root and kept growing, and was quite hard to maintain. But nice. But basket weaving does take strong fingers, and mine are too arthritic now. I'd love to do dry stone walling,. I used to take my boys strawberry picking, when they were little. They rarely made it to the jam pan, and we'd have to go back again, and pick more. I always think jenny wrens are like ping pong balls with a tail. I love them. Yes, it's funny how a bird, or dragon fly, or butterfly will come along at just the pertinent moment. Once, when I was grieving for a friend who died, I was standing by my river, and a large goldfish swam along and stopped right in front of me. It stayed there for some time, and then swam off. I always think it was her. I've never seen another goldfish in the river. It was magical and did help me. Take care xx
Agree about the strawberries. I had been working with a client about loving herself - as she walked out of my door, she looked up and in the sky were 2 crossing con trails making huge sky kiss. She jokingly accused me of being witch!! D
Trouble is with camera in one hand - I need the other for balance so can't carry a flag or umbrella as they do round London etc to make sure they don't lose anyone - oh wait - I don't need to do I as no idea where my tour folks are anyway! D
That upper gallery, you start off walking slowly and end up walking much faster by the other end. As a student, I lived in an attic flat which had a similar slope! D
