Yes and the hotel fires they cause and the warn out two stroke engines on the dinghies dump out more crap than every car in London times ten.
You could make every privately owned car and van pump out clouds of soot and they still wouldn't make as much CO2 as the hotel fires alone and that is without the two stroke engines on their boats.
Yet the worse causes for pollution are tossing their passports in the channel every day.

ULEZ doesn't even have to be an older car. If it's a diesel from before 2015 it would be considered non-compliant. A perfectly good, clean running car would be in violation. Getting burned for 23 in a 20 and 34 and 36 in a 30 at 1am is nearly ruining my life. The punishment is not fitting the crime. Points should expire in 2yrs, not 4. I have never had an accident, there has been no safety improvement to the community for the hordes of pedestrians on empty streets after midnight. A human officer would never have written these tickets. Birmingham issued me a £60 fine before even notifying me that I had been through a ULEZ zone. I don't live there to know the zones, and it was in the evening traffic in the rain - unreasonable for the motorist to see the sign while watching out for traffic in an unfamiliar place in the dark. British driving fines are insane.

As Reece-Mogg said, we are governed by consent that's why political parties put their proposals in their manifestos to gain that consent. However, Khan thinks he is back in Pakistan under a military dictatorship that does as it pleases, for at no time did he seek the permission of the electorate to introduce these draconian laws. Therefore, if he introduces these illegal laws it's the duty of the electorate to disobey them.

I lived in a big city in my 20s but when we married and had children moved to the country because we knew it was better for our children. It's the same old with this, all it's doing is making the roads clearer for the wealthy and punishing the average/low income earner.

No licence, no insurance, MOT etc etc Reported several times to the police, with dozens of CCTV video clips, and no action. The odd patrol, but little else. Police are understaffed and over stretched everywhere, so criminals have free reign.
