Love McAfee but all that $ always seems to crawl in and around people making bank. Hope Pat keeps the course he's always been on, seems the one guy to be able to hold things down and together.
Pat's ability to keep a conversation SO casual yet keep driving his points forward is something I will never understand. It's truly amazing, honestly. Dude is so special and has found his 200th calling for sure
Agreed, he goes on that short list with LT, Ronnie Lott, Ray Lewis, the very, very best. I know there are others, just the ones that pop into everyone's mind.
JJ Watt, a hall of fame defensive end, a hall of fame all around great human, and a hall of fame friend to cohost for Pat on such short notice, and do it like an absolute pro. I hope they’re able to get JJ on more often now, as he definitely has the knack for it and I’m sure he could bring some incredible stories and expertise to the show
AJ, JJ, Dbut, Pacman, are so good on the show, we are so lucky to have this show to enjoy everyday, thank you guys for everything and have a great weekend.
HOLY F___K!! You KNOW you’re the man and your show is an unstoppable beast. When you can call one of the greatest football players of all time with 13 minutes notice and he tells his wife “ whatever pat wants, Pat gets “. Being from Texas, I know all to well how great of a man this dude is. You can tell simply by how he interrupted the boys to ask Pat how all of their families were doing. Absolutely incredible interview. I love how they said he replaced AJ but all they did was chat him up and talk about him, his life and the almost unbelievable career this dude had. He deserved everything he got but he’s one of those guys that even though they don’t play for your team, you wish they had won multiple SB’s. But it doesn’t look like JJ is too upset about it. Those three DPOY awards and the fact that he could have and probably should have won an NFL MVP award that one year is incredible. Even though I’m a former QB. I HATE that the MVP and heisman have become de facto QB awards. Because JJ literally carried that entire team on his back and was far more valuable to the Texans, than any other player while he was there! Dude was playing defense AND catching TD’s. Just to make fans pack the house out. Because even though the Texans sucked a lot. JJ alone could sell out the entire stadium!
One of the best episodes of the show ever. JJ is a very genuine, funny, dude and I’d watch him on any broadcast - one of these networks need to hire that man!
this was an awesome co host for the day, i met JJ and TJ in pitt a few years ago during chemo visits. they are just simple good honest dudes. the kinda guys ya have a beer with and just enjoy. hope to see these brothers more on the show. this was a nice flashback for me, was good reminiscing on the old memories. lol
Love this guy ! One of my favorite players of all time and human beings! Living in Texas I’ve heard so many great things he does for everyone! Especially when hurricane hit us
Really appreciate the discussion about rehabbing from injury. Never really thought about the normalization of it until I went through it. Played 16 seasons and was lucky enough to not have a single surgery. Then I blew out my ACL on that damn field turf running a post-corner in effing flag football at age 32. Rehabbing an ACL in the dead of winter, with no real reason to push yourself is HARD. I had a blood clot in my calf post surgery too. That hurt worse than anything else. Just remember, even when you have the best trainers and doctors telling you what to expect, you are experiencing limitations from your injury that are completely foreign and YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT IS “NORMAL.” The psychological impacts of a major injury are RARELY discussed in a way that does them justice. It’s not just the ones that look awful on TV. Modern medicine is amazing, but the human brain is still undefeated.
I think bait and switch to someone who ISN'T a menace to the world was great lol. Love JJ, glad that he was on the Cards, and I'm absolutely keeping my jersey of him.
Great show...can't believe how great J.J. was without any prep. For sure one of the best episodes of all-time. I for sure hope J.J. stays around football since he is very entertaining and knows the game. Next stop, Canton, OH for J.J.!!
JJ an incredible sub for the day and great positivity and convo. AJ cannot ever be replaced his toxicity is only ever matched by the toxic table and BC’s weeelllll…
Haha nah AJ was just busy from how Pat phrased it when he was explaining how the whole thing with getting JJ on went down. That being said, I would absolutely be down to have JJ on as a regular once a week to just chat it up. You can tell JJ and Pat have a really good friendship outside of football and work so I can definitely see JJ coming on more often especially being retired now.
one of the most feel good hours ive experienced in a loong time, jjs awesome, lowkey wanna hop on madden start a franchise and lower jjs age to 20yo just to be able to experience his greatness again at least like that😂
What a LEGEND! JJ is truly a class act.. idk if there’s any single fan base that doesn’t like/respect JJ Watt. Seriously tho are there any?? Prayers for blessings in the afterplay life my man ✌🏽
JJ Watt was a great player and better yet a great human being that is an excellent role model. Going to miss AJ Hawk, but JJ is also a great addition to the Pat McAffee show!!
This show, where it come is so fckn awesome! If the Pat McAfee show isn't a success/motivation/inspirational story idk what is! JJ is a class act its cool seeing this side of him now after retirement.
Listen Pat it’s 9:50 am and I haven’t slept yet and I’m eating a nice bacon egg and cheese on a croissant while I enjoy hearing you talk and making my hangover so much worse, HELL YEA
Still remember watching JJ play one time in person when they played my Seahawks in Houston in 2013 what a Amazing incredible game that was by the way Houston way ahead Seahawks come back, JJ broke his nose or something it was the game he was bleeding profusely from the nose blood everywhere I'll always remember that, plus the Sherman pick 6 of Schaub to comeback the Houston Crowd was stunned and Seahawks go on too win the Super Bowl and this was a defining game in that season where the team learned to win tough road games
JJ fit in perfectly. One of those days that makes you appreciate how unique this show is.
Having an initialed first name makes you a natural to co-host this show.
@directmessage1883ay yo Pat, lemme get $100. If you do I’ll get Tom Brady on the show, he’s hanging out with me.
Hey it’s Tom
Great comment man we love good people like u
Love McAfee but all that $ always seems to crawl in and around people making bank. Hope Pat keeps the course he's always been on, seems the one guy to be able to hold things down and together.

Yea. He’s good.
JJ is a class act and one of the best Defensive players of all time. Thx for your contribution to the sport.
AJ your fired
AJ Hawk is garbage and needs to be replaced. I'll start watching once that trash can robot is gone.
Agreed, he goes on that short list with LT, Ronnie Lott, Ray Lewis, the very, very best. I know there are others, just the ones that pop into everyone's mind.
Awesome pull for a quick 1 day replacement for Aj. Jj wahhht stepping up and helping the boys.
What happened to AJ?
Is AJ coming back then? Truth be told I can’t stand McCafee and I wouldn’t follow the channel if it wasn’t for hawk
@@mr.doctorcaptain1124 AJ is gone forever. Him and pat had a falling out

JJ is amazing! bring him more often! But don't replace AJ! 🤣
AJ… the king of tackles 5-7 yards past the line of scrimmage 😂
Yes don't try to replace AJ he is the show
Mr Bend but Don't Break.
JJ is too wholesome to replace AJ's extreme toxicity
But JJ brings 100% more J to the show...
If the first minute of doesn't make you smile 😊 you don't understand why this show is so special!!!
Pat taking off his glasses to see better cracked me up
AJ, JJ, Dbut, Pacman, are so good on the show, we are so lucky to have this show to enjoy everyday, thank you guys for everything and have a great weekend.
AQ was awesome as well along with all those guys. Hope he’s back next season

The best thing about this is the fact that Aaron Rodgers was the player that beat out JJ Watt for the 2014 MVP 😂😂
Respect 🫡 all the watts but this man was on another level
The hawk noise trailing off when they saw it wasn't AJ killed me XD
One of the best episodes of the show ever. JJ is a very genuine, funny, dude and I’d watch him on any broadcast - one of these networks need to hire that man!
Can’t steal this man away from Pat! Lol nah he seems to be more of a podcaster than AJ. AJ wasn’t bad but I believe jj has more charisma
Pat don’t you ever change brother I swear you are a gem. LOVE this show man
JJ is such a good human. What a perfect fill-in for our AJ.
Replace AJ we riot
Why? My doorknob has more personality than him
Word. I’m in on that thought process also.
@@PMTcommenter 💯 Pat Mcafee has crazy charisma and AJ is a wall. I guess it does bring balance
Idk bud jj would kill to
Imagine AJ+JJ
As a Wisconsin fan watching JJ and his brothers start from college and work through their NFL career has been amazing they are all three legends
2 legends... keep it real, yo
You guys deserve this kind of respect from such great players. JJ is amazing.

WATT Wednesdays?! Or Watt’s Up Wednesdays?! Let’s make it happen! Great family man, great football player, great co-host!
So this is what confused ESPN
Love seeing JJ get the opportunity to spend some time on the show. He’s universally loved and respected. One of the best to ever do it.
This was great, JJ is a stand up guy, enjoyed the show, the back and forth kept me dialed in. Love to see him with the boys on future shows/streams.
JJ Watt is the reason I started watching and falling in love with the NFL. An outstanding player and even better human being
Class Act! Amazing show, hopefully we see more of JJ. As a Niner fan, he deserved the tribute we gave him. He earned that and then some.
Aj Can never be replaced !
Best ever! Every American should be required to watch this once a year.
As a Wisconsin boy and fan of Wisconsin and the WHAAAAAAAAD bros, this was amazing…
"Anything Pat needs Pat gets." Should be on a shirt
I just told my buddy to make me a shirt with JJ and Pat on it with that exact quote. I’m going to pick it up tomorrow!! 😂😂

LET ME TELL YALL ABOUT JJ WATT... I LIVE IN HOUSTON AND AT OUR LOWEST POINT JJ WATT HELPED US.... HELPED US SURVIVE.... GOD BLESS THIS MAN!
His wife said you're doing Watt?!😂
Just watched NFL highlights of McAfee's career. An amazing punter, playmaker and teammate.
Pat got a thing for the Wisco athletes. Let’s go!
Thank you for joining JJ! Such a great guy ❤
Great interview with JJ, such a great dude. Conner with the jab at AJ at the end had me rolling😂

Will never forget that draft night. Living in Houston during Harvey the work that man did was inspiring.
