So nice to see you using the old girl (Kodak Brownie). I use a few myself and shoot glass, sizes from 6.5x9cm, 9x12cm, 4x5 inches and the odd sizes,. A while back I was shooting 6.5 x 8.5 inch glass, such a thrill to hold an image on glass that big, have now sold the camera, so sticking to the smaller sizes. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your video demonstration. Have a wonderful Christmas and take care.
Thanks for the video Nejc. Enjoyable content as usual. All the best to you and family over the Christmas holidays. Looking forward to more of your videos in the new year. Stay safe, and cheers from Canada.
@@lostlightart6064 Thank you so much! I got a 1913 Kodak Brownie similar time yours yesterday as an early gift and I’m pouring my first dry plates tomorrow 🤩 thank you for inspiring me ! Have a beautiful holiday 🌲🌲🌲🌲
Hey Nejc! Love your videos. I’m trying to get into dry plate photography but the plate sizes and camera choices available are very overwhelming! I was wondering if you have any recommendations for a relatively small and portable plate camera like that Kodak Brownie 3a? One that preferably takes a glass slide that is common. Cheers
The best camera to enter the world of Plate photogtaphy is in my opinion Intrepid. Best price to value ratio. Then you would need somr Zebra plate hders and some plates 😉
Hi, very interesting as I've just been given a Kodak No 3 folding brownie Model D, and a Kodak No 3 Folding Pocket Model E-8. The image size is marginally smaller than the 3A, at 4.25 * 3.25 inches. Do you need to use a plate holder attachment, or does the plate fit in directly, as I can with paper negatives ?
Been a digital fanatic since the introduction of Nikon DSLR. My wife & kids gave me a Kodak square bellow camera. Now my passion, is reignited.
🖤

Wonderful image especially with the trees maintaining proper perspective, i.e. didn't have converging verticals. Thanks for sharing.
Yes that was the hardest part. I was also afraid that the tops of the trees will not be in frame. Marry Chtistmas and stay safe!
Wow, that is so dreamy. Great job! =)

Great video. What tripod head are you using for this camera?
This is a small compact Velbon Tripod. I have to check the model

Haha. Hvala Vale hvala 🤗
What volume of developer and fixer are you using? I get the dilution ratio, but how many ml = 1 "part"?
About 250ml in total
