- Laser rust and paint removal of a 1937 chevy truck.
One of the most important applications of laser cleaning is the removal of rust. Rust is a thin layer of oxidized material that can arise on the outside of a metal surface. The traditional techniques to remove rust are sanding, chemical treatment, sandblasting, dry ice blasting, etc. These techniques are either very time consuming or have a big impact on the environment.
With the removal of rust with laser cleaning, no great forces are developed that chase the loosened dirt into the environment, but it’s also possible to clean large surfaces in a short period of time. For instance, you can fully strip a car down to the bare metal in only an hour. To remove rust with laser beams, a laser gun is aimed at the rust layer and slowly passes over the entire surface.
Our unique laser cleaning service allows our customers to reduce production interruptions and enhance productivity. Solving problems effectively and efficiently, helping our customers reach and exceed their goals.
Efficient - set-up is easy and we can start cleaning in minutes
Minimal space required - laser cleaning does not require extra space, meaning little impact on surrounding work areas
Safe - laser cleaning will not leave chemical, mechanical or thermal strain on the substrate
Mobile - the laser can easily be maneuvered providing flexibility
Clean - low noise, no chemicals, less fumes and dust, which means no clean up after work is performed
Minimal waste - laser cleaning does not leave collateral waste or leftover hazardous materials
Environmentally friendly - chemical cleaning materials are not required and any waste can be easily removed via a vacuum | Stop wasting time and money on pressure washing or sand blasting

1.21 Gigawatts
50 Megatons
This one is really doing the job. Other ones I’ve seen leave black looking scale on the metal
@@AldeeezzyGreat Scott!!!
Top😊
How much prep is involved after being laser cleaned? I’ve read it leaves a carbon layer behind, is this true?
Not true with our machines, it leaves the substrate completely clean.
Doesn't the heat warp the panel? You can hear the panel "pop".
No! that was another tech in the back ground working. We adjust the laser according to the depth of the corrosion to prevent damage. please contact us www.alienlasercleaning.com for further questions. Great question though!
@@alienlasercleaning Hi, what parameters have you set on the machine
How is your business progressing? Are you keeping busy?
Yes very much so.
How would this be, for preparing metal for Powder coating?
Yes we have many videos of removing power coating on our tiktok channel here: www.tiktok.com/@cajun.hippie.lover
@@alienlasercleaning Right, but what I want to know is how clean is the metal? Is it clean enough to powder coat?
Good question. When you get an answer let me know@@rockyblankenship1166
@@rockyblankenship1166yes it is. But if you were just painting it would likely not be porous enough and need to be roughed up. Powdercoat tho your good. These get rid of all contaminants completely but it’s so gentle it’s may not take normal paint to well without surface prep.
What is wattage of laser ?
Is it pulse or CW ?
All this information is proprietary to Alien Laser Cleaning.
