Just to let you know. . . going from ACE to Venture. . . take a deep breath. . don't loose your shit. . . give it a solid week before coming to a conclusion on how they are. That is one hell of a difference in truck design , feel, and functionality. I've skated just about everything since 1990, and those two companies designs are almost exact opposites.

And the wheelbase from the trucks also, ACE trucks have the shortest wheelbase and Venture quite the opposite , they have the longest wb, so you need to get used to that change 🙌🏽

@@yosuozi2587 I don’t think the short wheel base actually holds true for the AF1s. I think there is a different tilt to them that actually makes them a bit wider than Indies. The Classics though might be shorter, I don’t own a pair of those.

I love the aesthetic of the AF1s but I was genuinely surprised by how squishy the bushings were. Being a 52mm tall truck I am amazed anyone can skate them without risers.
I got a pair of the 66s but am waiting in ACE’s own harder replacement bushings before I skate them as I don’t like using risers especially on a truck that is already plenty heavy as is.

Most trucks are 53-55 mm , los are around 48.5 . 52 is a nice mid truck , ride all these without risers loose with no problems.

Venture trucks are pretty good, but break in time sucks and wax the pivot cup and bushings if you want them to be loose
