Hi Alex!! Wow this was a long question. I think I cover a lot of it in the blog, the link is in the video description, especially the part about buying tickets and arranging travel etc. I mainly booked stuff in advance a day or two before as I like to make plans on the fly! I had visited almost all these places before for longer periods of time, this particular trip was about the journey for me. I'd spend a night or two in each place and have at least a day to enjoy the sites. Cambodia was the only country I had not visited before and I spent several days in both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh to make the most of it. If it's your first time I personally say spend longer in a few places rather than travelling a lot to reach lots of places. Singapore however is very small so you could do Singapore + another country and have plenty of time to enjoy both. It depends how long you have. I spent a month taking this train journey. I honestly couldn't tell you how much I spent on all the tickets as it was a long time ago, but most were fairly low priced. You can look up the ticket prices in advance for almost all the trains so it's pretty easy to get an idea of what it will cost you. Hope that helps! Have fun planning :)
