Hi there. I play drums in a band. Sometimes I use my electronic drum kit at gigs, and I wanted to start using headphones while playing live, as well as having a monitor speaker next to me. Do you think these would do the job, as I still want to be able to hear the band as well as what's in the headphones. Thanks.

    -Very fast item spec rundown

    -Good vocalization

-Cristal clear and direct message ✔
    -High-quality editing

-Quick video and to the point ✔
-You told us your actual opinion ✔
-Not forcing any downsides ✔ (I think atm is rare to see someone doing a review and not straight up hating on the fact that the item is actually good, most seem to try to force downsides)
-But also not trying to force any upside ✔
Overall I think this has to be one of the best reviews I've seen in a while, thank you so much on the video because it was exactly what I was looking for ! :D

Broke my monitor headphones after 4 years and needed to find a replacement. Found the samson SR850 and ordered them. They arrived a few days ago and started burning them in. Last night, I tried them out, connected it to a DAC, played a few tracks and was so amazed at the sound it was producing! Daft Punk never sounded that good before in my ears and I could hear separation between sounds for the first time without using an equalizer. These are so comfortable as well. I'll most probably buy a couple more as spares because right now it's really cheap to buy. So thank you for the review. U were one of the few people I watched before buying these cans. :)

This is the prefect headphone under 40 dollars. Being semi open back headphone, the sound is very realistic. The highs are very bright. The mid is prefect, and the bass is not that punchy but you can hear it upto ~30HZ(which is fine for most uses). If the surrounding environment is quiet, it is suitable for all purpose.

Same build quality and sound quality only difference is Open back (850) and Closed back(950) if you live in a noisy place obviously the 950 are gonna be better

I just got one recently and a thing bothers me that my one doesn't go lower than 40Hz although it is said to have 10 to 30000Hz frequency response(Lets say 20-20000Hz). Can anyone tell me if you are encountering the same problem as I do??

    • @Natan-yw3xc

There are some reviewers who noticed that the mids are not full and these headphones sound "thin"...which can make the mixes more muddy. Your song at 4:50 also sounds muddy. Is it because of the headphones???

Nice vid! I know that people's heads vary in shape and size, are these headphones comfortable over 2-3 hours when wearing glasses? Also, do you know how these compare to the Sony MDR7506? I'd be using them primarily for watching movies, hooked up to a decent Yamaha receiver. Thanks!

    • @BubVisuals
      @BubVisuals  6 років тому

Yeah, I found them to be really comfortable. And actually I have, as my friend has a pair of the Sony ones. Personally, I prefer a cleaner sound, so I much prefer the Samson’s, but the bass on the Sony headphones was really good. I don’t remember how comfortable they were, but the Samson’s were memorably comfortable.

I’ve got a little extra money and I have enough for the Phillips 9500 should I get that or save money and get the Samson too give you some context I like to listen to songs similar to or made by Louie zong

Hi, i'm looking for headphones that alows me to hear what happen aroud (like a doorbell or someone calling me) and my own voice while speaking, this semi-open design is fine for this?

From what I've read these are closer to fully open in terms of effect. You should be able to hear everything.
