- Welcome to Season 7 of Adventures in Golf, presented by United. Erik Anders Lang's first stop is Ireland's last course - St. Patrick’s Links at Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort - and one of the lushest links we've ever laid eyes on - Cruit Island Golf Club.
Highlighting golf's fun, human, and humorous side. Golf is no longer just the stuffy world of middle-aged country club members. Skratch brings you golf content for a new generation.
From getting the most exotic tee times on Earth (see: Adventures in Golf) to digging into the game's interesting personalities (see: Skratching the Surface, Finding the Fairway), Skratch showcases a side of golf many would never get to see.

The fact that MrBeast has 100 million followers and you guys only have 175K blows my mind. This is the content we all want. Keep it up gang.
Mr beast is a bad comparison 😅I would’ve used someone like Jake Paul or someone else talentless 😂
I mean, at least 80% of the world is retarded, so there's your answer.
My dad Michael Doherty designed Cruit in 1985/86. He was club pro in City of Derry. : ) Its a very special place alright.
The greatest golf course I’ve ever played. Thank you to your Dad
Your Dad was a gent! (Strabane GC member). Couple of my friends worked under him at Derry
A hidden gem. Worth the trip. Thank you to your Dad!
This series brings two of my favorite things together in one. I studied videography in college and I’ve been playing golf since middle school. The way you tell the stories of these courses and the people who play them is amazing. Keep up the great visuals and stories!
Completely agree! I'm a full time photographer/videographer and the quality of the production and color grading on this channel and the story telling makes it so much above everything else.
@@codylerephoto as the colorist for this series, season 6/7… THANK YOU.
This episode felt like Anthony Bourdain. Amazing. There must be more subscribers who want to watch this UA-cam style.
Awesome stuff again guys 👏
Thanks Eric for this wonderful focus on what's important and so special to golfers. All the baloney going on with professional golf can disappear up it's own jacksie, THIS is what matters.
Yesss. My favorite series you guys do. Always amazing to hear the history and see you play these courses.
Immediately off to check flights to Ireland! Stunning courses and great to have AIG back
Make sure you check out Carne Golf Links (no laying up did a great review - all 27 holes) and Enniscrone. About 2-3 hours from This place….
Love the content Erik , as always it's truly deep and has a lot history and lore behind it .... keep it coming good sir ~
Beautiful. I love how excited/passionate Erik was about the history and the changes to that course.
Great content, amazing courses! Both within driving distance of Donegal Airport, making it that much easier for golf enthusiasts from near and far to visit and play a few holes!
Always love watching these, and having it be released on my B day is another plus!
Happy birthday 🥳
I learned I should’ve done more research for our trip to Ireland! Cruit looks amazing
Man my mom grew up in Carrigart an my grandfather is one of the longest standing members of rosepenna. Crazy to see this video recommended to me. Cant wait to play it again!!
This is by far one of my favorite series on youtube or tv. Erik, you are killing it.
Absolutely incredible video. Such a special place on earth and amazing history at Rosapenna. This video was done properly and captured the symbolism of this property perfectly. I’ve never wanted to visit a place in the world more than I do now after this. Thank you!
God I love this series. Feels like a fitting story that will go.. so I was out at the golf course today and ended up playing a round with Erik Anders Lang. Truly the most interesting man/ golfer award winner out there😎
These courses look amazing, wow cruit island 🏝 is a bucket list!!!!
So glad this is back for another series, just added more courses to the golfing bucket list!
Shaneooooo with the cameo of the century.
i played on st patricks about 20 years ago it wasnt a finished course ,rough greens longer grass in fairways and if you went in the rough your ball was gone but the course layout was unbelievable and the design of many of the holes was amazing.you paid i think 15 euros to a guy on a tractor, there was no clubhouse just change in the car,i have played rossapennas other courses many times, cant wait to play st patricks again and see if anything is still the same layout, amazing piece of land.
Great watch 👍
Played Cruit Island a month or so ago.....WOW! So much fun, and even on a grey mirky day, its spectacular
ps I've always thought it was pronounced Crit.... And i only live 100miles away 🤣
What beautiful golf courses. Holy moly. I would love to live there and have them be my home courses.
you are sooo lucky to see and discover beautiful places like this, keep them coming, thanks
Its like waiting for my favorite TV series to come back, except its on UA-cam.... As a member of an "Old Tom " course, this place looks incredible! Amazing as always, keep up the great work!
Stunning. Simply stunning.
Excellent! Such amazing history and family. The holes are out of this world.
I fxxking love this stuff. All success to you. I will be coming to play these course in the years ahead. Great Video.
Just been to Lofoten Links and it was really special. Great to see Golf Resorts are booming - and the public can play these great courses.
Season 7. YEEAAAH 🙌
By far the best golf content available. Keep up the good work my friend.👍
always so soulful best videos never stop the adventures Erik
Being from to the north west of Ireland it's great to see AIG highlight our little part of the world.. I remember hearing about yous filming this which feels like a long time ago now.
This is amazing insight into this course, it makes the experience of playing it even better.
What a great golf video. I went to Rosapenna last year for a few days but we only got to play the Tom Morris course. So we are going back in two weeks and I'm looking forward to playing the new St Patrick's Links! This video really whet my appetite! I may need to bring a few (dozen) extra balls.
The tee box shot followed by walking the fairway shot really remind my of early morning golf in Ireland! Stunning camera work and glad you enjoyed my home country!
Glad to see this series is back
One of my favourite episodes
Was lucky enough to play this course last fall. It is amazing. In fact, all three courses are great.
This video was magic
Amazing, thank you guys for bring these wonders to us, keep it coming :)
You all need to visit The Jewel Golf Course on Makinac Island in Michigan. Rich with history and very unique!
Loved the St. Patrick's course when I played it last year I can't wait to go back and play the Old Tom Morris course. I also have some cool shots of St. Patrick's Link on my page.
AIG is some of the best UA-cam content. Eric, I hope you guys get paid well...you all deserve it.
I personally think that is the most beautiful golf course I've ever seen
Quite surprisingly moved by the beauty of both courses and the area. Another great piece of filmmaking. I must start saving for St Patrick's now 👍
Love this series
Spectacular looking course
Stunning. Thanks for making EAL!
Welcome back! This makes me want to drop everything and go and play golf In Ireland. And l live here.
Wow! Golf heaven.
Between this and the Chasing Scratch trip, I'm feeling a strong desire to see Ireland again.
Love the content. Beautifully done.
Lets GO, new season baby!!!!
Wonderful video chaps. Played Ireland around Dublin area, think next visit will be to rosapena for sure
Incredible. Best video I have seen on UA-cam for a long while.
Erik this is my favorite video you have posted. To date. Ok I know I’ve said that many times but this time I’m serious
Great stuff Eric keep it coming! 👌🏻

So #hyped for this! One of the best UA-cam series ever!
another amazing video guys..wow
Highly enjoyed this!
Yeay the adventure continues 🔥🔥
I thought I had golfed in Ireland but this course just made it to the bucket list for sure 😧
Erik, you need to do a golf guide to Ireland! Also a Scotland guide part 2
Love your stuff eric, keep going :)
3 more courses added to my ever increasing bucket list of places to play golf
I can't believe that when i stayed at my family's house in Castlefinn i had no idea about these courses, defo going back and using there house as a base :D
There’s a 2nd shot on Cruit you play thats pure down hill with Errigal & the spinning ocean behind the green. It’s pure magical. Also has the best par 3 on the planet. Golf in Donegal is with the addition of St Patrick’s probably the best destination & value for money in Ireland. Erik did you play Portsalon & did you have a pint in the Olde Glen ??
One of my favorite videos on this channel!
Fantastic content.
My first video since the redwood video about a year ago. Love watching EL travel the world and work his magic.
Keep up the amazing content!
So special. Would love to play. Thanks for the great inspirational film. Although I find the green fee a bit hefty "for everybody" as you phrased it... But still fair I guess...
Just played here absolutely breathtaking course
Great video! I’ll have to take a trip to Ireland sometime🤟
Erik. You need to go to Nefyn golf club in North Wales. Peninsula course with spectacular views and a pub below the course on the beach. Would be a great video.
Fantastic
Wow, i just played there on a trip last week!
I’ll be in Ireland in September 🙌🏽
Comment you should visit there ages ago and to see you finally have is brilliant
@9:53 Looks windy lmao, classic links
Truely great video fair play lads
Man, I had already unsubscribed from Skratch because I thought Adventrues in Golf wasn't coming back. Glad to see that I got a recommended video and its was back! Great content. Keep it coming.
We keep them coming every year - hope you resubscribed, Eddie!
Great video
I'd definitely take one of those weathered flags, great keepsake.
Just watched your content for the first time after a plug on the Rick Shiels podcast - what fantastic content
Wow!
Ayyyyyyy Season 7
LETS GO!!
Cruit Island Golf Club.... Wow.
Why was this not on my home page youtube? I've watched every single one of these. That's surprising.
Subscribe for a notification when they go live 😉
Amazing video. I think you could spend a month in Ireland and not get to all of the amazing courses there!
Hell ya. 10/10
I would for sure buy one of the torn flags to hang in my mancave
ACE, on the list one day....
Love Sandy Hills & Old Tom Morris, but St Patricks Links is top top class
