Thanks.. been looking for a vid that both explains the beat and also has a beat the gets butts moving not just heads bobbing.. and this passed the test.. thank you very much.
You have the knack Francisco. I'm a guitarist in a place where there is no person to play drum kit (besides Rock). So I undertake to do it myself. After watching this I could immediately start on the hi-hat/snare pattern and began adding the kick. Within 15 minutes. So, yes, your instruction is very good. I appreciate your work with the multiple cameras. I hope you do more. If you have a good drum kit version of son, I'd appreciate it. And songo.
That's great that you're teaching yourself!!! As a guitarist you'll probably have a good ear for the music as a whole, and not only the beat. Thanks for the appreciation. And great that you're spreading Soca music (and other styles) in your "Rock-orientated" place. The coming period I'll be focusing mainly on Soca. In the future I'll probably branch out to related styles 😀.
Thank you for sharing the drum beat and greetings from the island of CURAÇAO 🇨🇼
Thanks! Wonderfull rythm, great and clear explanation! Greetings from Denmark

Hey Junior....i don't have the instrumental.... it's just my drums playing over the drums on the track 😁

Thanks for the support 😀

Thanks D3afSquad!!
Yessss 💃
People keep forgetting that Soca, just like Calypso is in cut time. Good video though.
Regueton comes from here, not from dancehall.
Yes, quite some styles influence each other in the past 😁👍
