This is the drive train. 1/4 hp, 1725 rpm. 1.5" to 6" pulley reduction. The 3rd shaft is only 27 rpm. This shaft will hold the crank arms. Keep watching.
The best rotation conversion video I’ve watched yet. Love the tri conversion. We did this growing up with all kinds of things in the farm. Don’t let the naysayers who don’t understand the basics of rotation stop you from providing videos.
MrE2112 I completely agree. I have watched so many ridiculous videos that I had to give you credit for creating a conversion that made sense without confusing the masses. We used huge tractor rims to increase power.
There are many of us that understand fear ratio yet refuse to complicate the basics with people. I’m making a steam punk style can crusher with all scrap and it will have air involved just to embellish the effect once the sensor eyes catch the can. I had a vid for the motor works but watched yours and thought,.... ya know what,.... this guy has the vid. 40:1. For my downplay of the motor might work but I FOIND that a slip chain worked better. Made my final production much more dramatic and increased my pressure. Full cans of veggies. Makes a mess but at least I know the power is there.
MrE2112 Again thank you. From al of us that don’t make videos and still putter around online. Thank you. Your convert has been the simplest and yet the most effective.
This might be the type of setup I need to use on a homemade vehicle tire mounting machine except the last driven pulley would probably need to turn maybe 3/4 as fast or maybe even half. Do you think the last pulley has enough torque to mount a tire on a rim? I'd need the last pulley to turn 1 revolution in something like 10 seconds or maybe a little less.
jiaw bermz for example, if the small pulley is half the size of the large pulley, it will rotate twice as fast as the large pulley. The large pulley is then connect to another small pulley by using a shaft, these two pulleys spin at the same RPM. That small pulley is then rotating at twice the rpm as the next big pulley but half the rpm as the first small pulley. So on and so forth. This is how you transform RPM into torque.
@@musicmaneman38 Yes i did consider that but a bit pricey and the cost for delivery was a little to much, I had built my system and it works great as I already had all the stuff in my garage to build a pully system, But my second pully was place high near the motor to reduce the overall length, And I only needed two pulleys after the motor for the speed I needed,
Good work bro, gear motor cost more using these pulley system is economical and doea the same work. I needed it for my project of extrusion machine. Will work on this system only.
Thats the best example to describe gear reduction without rocket-science. Thank you

Just getting vack to you on this but.. the motor was only 1/8hp at 1725rpm.
The torque was the payoff.
I have a five-horsepower motor with 1,400 rpm, but I need 60 rpm. Will implementing this idea achieve the goal? Thank you very much.
The reduction was 1.5-6 through the stages. So it woud be slower. Use good bearing blocks instead of the home made ones that I made.

Assalamu'alaikum, bisa gak abang buat satu experimen, pompa air dari kincir angin dan pengatur kecepatan pakai puley ke tabung sedot air.
Memang mungkin kecepatan dari angin bisa tidak stabil.

Where’s the crushing pt???🤔🤔🤔
Dead project. The idea was to hook up a sliding piston with arms on the last shaft. I had no way of adjusting the tension on the pulleys.

Terimakasih informasinya sangat bermanfaat sekali salam kenal sukses selalu
Thanks bro ..I understood what is used of wheel ..to reduce the speed of motor..
Moter speed=1725rpm × pulllly size 3''inch, = 5175rpm.....
5175÷10'' inch pully =517.5rpm..
517.5rpm×3'' inch pully 1552rpm...
1552rpm÷10'' pully 155 rpm...
155rpm ×3'' inch pully 465rpm..
465rpm ÷10''inch pully. 46.5rpm...
