I feel so sorry for you every time you cough. I am also older 60 in November. I have asthma, trigeminal neuralgia, chronic clotting disorder with Dvts and Pulmonary Embolisms, chronic skin infections and UTIs. You are such a strong person. I admire you.

Mary I'm amazed how well you deal your CF. I know it's not easy of course but you still seem to do such an amazing job. Good luck with your team and the upcoming plans. I have a chronic GI condition and I'm really having trouble staying positive through learning how to cope with it. You're an inspiration.

I'm glad they're (you're) working on a new treatment plans, and can't wait to hear it. It must be so difficult to change things up, especially when there's negatives to go with the positives -- kinda like being caught between a rock and a hard place.
Ohhhh I just love how little Ollie boy is just chilling on the couch with you Mary, looks soo comfy and what a great snuggle buddy! Sending prayers for you guys and your CF team that you can come up with a plan that won't turn things too backwards for you.

I am new to the Frey life.. I have been playing catch up with your videos.. I have some questions that I didn't find answers too in other videos... Do most CF people crave salt and why? Do u and ur sis have the same strand of CF? and does she have any other complications? You guys are so courageous to walk in ur shoes and document ur journey for the rest of the world to see. LOVE IT AND KEEP FIGHTING!!!
just purchased a tote. hope you still have some postcards! :) I find you guys tremendously inspiring. I can't imagine being as sweet as you guys seem to be all of the time. I'm way too expressive. but, a pastor once told me that God uses us as is. that, my blessings to others wouldn't be the same if I was different, and to be grateful for the way I was made. made me think, and humbled me. it was great. 😊😄 the wife of a previous pastor also has cystic fibrosis. she's had a double lung transplant, maybe another recently, I'm not sure as we have lost touch. she is just as strong and giggly as the lovely Mrs Frey!!!

I can see the concern on your husbands face every time you cough. He's a strong willed guy because I literally get an adrenaline dump when my partners breathing gets out of control or if she coughs so much that she vomits.
I am so sorry if this sounds mean but that was the longest cough I have every heard but I feel so bad for you and I will keep praying for you to get better and keep being a child at heart

Mary, I would recommend you get a pulse oximeter to measure your oxygen levels if you haven't already got one. You can get them from Amazon for a very reasonable price.
Keeping you both in prayer, as well as your clinic/CF team. I pray God makes it abundantly clear the steps you are meant to take next. May the Lord reveal, sooner rather than later, His plan for feeling better. I praise God for allowing you & Peter the opportunity to bless & encourage others, and pray you feel encouraged in return! my prayers an support is sent to you through the hard times.!!! having a cronic illness really sucks an I feel you. I have cronic dislocations an pain so I can somewhat relate to the struggles. I hope all goes the right way in your treatment so it's the best plan for you. in what ever journey you are thinking of following.

+Adrienne McGuire yes I am a zebra fighter!!! 2 years ago I had a serious dislocation in my back that caused paraplegic issues as I gained me left foot back I still have drop foot on the left side an my right leg is paralyzed still so I have to wear a afo (ankles foot orthotic ) and a kafo (knee ankle foot orthotic ). u have the silver ring splints. An wake up to at least 4 to 7 dislocations every morning an have more during the day. it sucks. to on zebra to the next my support goes out to you and others that have eds

im sick atm and every time i see you cough i cough too and i keep thinking im coughing with you! like fighting cf when i dont have cf! i know thats kind of weird but it makes me feel better about being sick!

+The Frey Life hey guys my name is Bella I have a question for you guys when you have cf can you still do hangout with another person that as cf
I'm sure they will see your comment but for now i'll give you the strait answer - yes but no - there's recommended restrictions to prevent infections for everyone these make it harder for you to have a cf bff and be in the same room. the exception is those your with all the time like family. for example mary grew up with her sister who also has cf but they were exposed to all the same stuff so no need to worry. but in another video she met a cf friend for the first time and they had to meet outside and say a certain distance from one another and not touch the same stuff etc. also in hospital she must have her own room and stay in it to prevent infection from other people affecting her, especially those with cf. but cf doesn't stop you using technology to hang out like skype or a phone, so technically you can hang out with other cf people but it's dangerous so it's not the same as if you and i were to hang out.

I have celiac disease, an autoimmune disease with many symptoms. I get very tired and never reach REM when I sleep. I need at least 10 hours of sleep to function. The only treatment is not eating gluten. I miss it.
I have celiac too.. I don't think CF is even comparable to celiac. even tho celiac is tough, we have no idea what Mary is going through.
+Emily S I never thought celiac was comparable to CF. I was commenting to peter's 4 hours of sleep. I can't imagine how difficult it would be with CF.
I have celiac as well, I definitely don't miss eating gluten, wheat, barley, rye, some malt stuff and so forth. I thought I was gonna die for years with my symptoms; expecially the pain, it took the Dr's years to diagnose me. but I've never noticed or heard of needing more sleep with CD
now I also have NF, and that keeps me up some times from pain or nerve and muscle issues. but my CD (celiac disease) has only kept me awake when I've been glutenated
