I have a question - The modern economic system sustains on chasing economic growth, and over time the growth shall peak and there will no room for extra growth, Is this economic system sustainable. I believe next 50 years is max to max life of modern economic system (capitalist society + present monetary system)
The reasons or problems, you mention quoting experts, we may face if the Pakistani economy and this country collapses, are all that we have already faced. There's nothing new here. Why should we bother, when we see it tipping into thd abyss? Even if India or other countries help Pakistan, we will continue to face those problems.
So, there's no logic in extending help, save a moral duty. But then, when it's about Pakistan, given how it has treated us and continues to treat us, should Indians even entertain that thought?

Growth in the volume of bilateral trade can be beneficial for both the countries in terms of protecting economic interest of each of the nation. But Pakistan's foreign policy is to always destabilize and cause unrest in India. Hence, we shall never trust this nation even if we are loosing opportunity of trade.

Yes, you are right that India must never trust Pakistan because trusting and helping Pakistan is just like feeding snake so that it could get bigger and stronger to bite us. Helping Pakistan on any terms, let for instance be it be giving them any line of credit or food supplies or bail out package is just like hitting an axe on our own feet, in long term.

Hi Ayushi, How does the forex reserve gets built. I understand that u get forex when u export goods and services. However, my confusion is, for a country like ours and also the neighbours , who have been net importers for decades. How does the reserve gets built. Like for us, from year 91 when our forex purse was empty to today when it is overflowing.

I think India would greatly be affected by Pakistan's crisis because:-
1. It'll push Pak to a complete economic crisis and Pakistan more or less will become the current Afganistan. And terror group (so called now political parties) like Taliban would have control over all the remaining resources of Pakistan and might also attack India at some point of time.
2. Bilateral trades:- India would also be greatly affected by that, as you said the bilateral trades between India and Pak is in good favour of India. India imports fabric, dates, and many other resources, which might even get closed in near future. Because then Pakistan would try to replenish from inside without relying on trades. And hence would affect India.
3. Division of Pakistan:- Due to heavy economic crises and internal clashes between different Parts of Pak, it may push it to division of the country... And after their division their part of Punjab and Indian part of Punjab may demad for a new country Khalistan. And hence division of India too( if not division than clashes for sure)
4. Breach of ind-pak boundary:- many civilians of Pak( who notably could be innocent) would try to enter India (a better nation in terms of current economic growth). It can be compared with the situation of USA and Mexico. And hence disturbing the sovereignty of the India.
5. Pakistans long term dependency over India's rival countries:- as you mentioned ma'am that providing long term loans comes at a great cost which is the total dependency of the borrower country to the lender country. And if in future counties like China or Turkey ever play cards against India, Pakistan would automatically be forced to play against India...

I have a question, In case Pakistan opt for a bailout plan what security or collateral will provide to Lender
Like,
1. A sovereign guarantee is more like a legal commitment and in case of default the most they can do is take legal action against Pakistan
2. If they tried to give their natural resources or gold reserve as collateral, how the other country executes that charge against Pakistan?
Would love to know how the lender will take actionable and practicable steps against the defaulted country and are there any such cases happened in the past between the 2 countries.

Yes, MA Economics from a UGC recognised university and even a few foreign universities can appear for the exam.
With regard to the eye issue - should not be a problem. A medical exam is conducted after you clear the interview to assess your fitness level.

Pakistan’s ultimate power center is its armed forces. Any trade with that country will result in a heavy trade imbalance for the exporting country to Pakistan. There is not guarantee of peace at the borders !
Am from Tamilnadu and I also thought that refugee problem from SL will blow when that nation got into trouble. Nothing of that sort happened. They took india’s help generously .. allowed Chinese spy ship .. and even yesterday arrested our indian fisherman and confiscated their boats. A gentle reminder that boats will never be returned back to India and men will be freed after paying 2 to 3 cr fine in SL currency.

On what India should do -
As they say - Never disturb an enemy when it is in self destruction mode.". So, we should wait and watch.
On Aayushi's point of growing radicalism, terrorism and refugee. On first two - Pakistani society is a radicalised society from its initial years of existence. So this fear of its possible radicalism due to present is not well founded. Mind you all, the basic reasoning of Jinnah for asking Pakistan was - Muslims can't live peacefully under Hindus. The hate for Hindus is a real thing there, the treatment of the miniscule Hindu,Sikh and Christian minority is an example of that. Our media have started to show cases of atrocities on minorities in Pak in last few years, it was a hell for them in last 70 years. Official curriculum to tv serials have been used to fuel this hatred for non-Muslims.
On terrorism - one can clearly see Pakistan used it as a state policy, we all remember how terrorist attacks were so common few years back that we Indians tend to have accepted it as a reality of everyday life. So saying terrorism will increase in a destabilized pak is not true, to the opposite, a stable Pakistan is way more dengerous for India. As FM Jaishankar recently said it have a terrorism industry. Don't you think this industry needs funds to operate? Destabilized pak will never able to fund this industry.
Now on refugee crisis, yes we will be facing a refugee crisis and i think government will tackle it with adequate preparedness. Why should ordinary citizens worry on this ?

I agree with you that happenings in Pakistan adversely affects india.however india should never be concerned about that.stronger and prosperous Pakistan is much more dangerous to india than weaker and poorer pakistan.what india should do is to take care of itself socially, economically and militarily.also india should have defence and economic cooperation with friendly and like minded big powers.though Pakistanis are genetically, culturally geographically same as indians ideologically they are so opposed to indians . they were never friendly with india in the past 75 years.there are very nice and wonderful pakistanis.what indians can do unless whole country collectively change their ideolical stand.
