    Is it free or you have to buy the product to get the serial no required at the time of installation.

    • @MLCCADSystems
      @MLCCADSystems  2 роки тому +2

      The serial number requires a purchase. There are no free versions of this software.

      @@MLCCADSystems your website and channel is best but unfortunately everything is purchasing based, as these softwares are also very costly

      There are learning editions and student editions available for free or low-cost for many of the tools we support, but the primary users of our software work as professionals in industry.

      This isn't a common issue, but if it won't run after the initial install it may be due to the electrical database not running or no license exists for Electrical. Confirm where the database is stored, that SQL is installed and running, and that a license exists for the product. Beyond that, I recommend reaching out for support to your VAR or EDU as appropriate.

    Hola muy buen aporte! Yo seguí todos los pasos y pude utilizarlo, el problema es que no aparecen las plantillas y, cuando quiero insertar símbolos por ejemplo, no hay ninguno. Me falta descargar algo?

      After the installation is complete and you run the software, there should be a Data Update Wizard. Make sure you accept the default selections and click Next and Finish to fully load all of the standard libraries of templates and symbols upon initial installation.
      If you cancelled that process the first time you started SOLIDWORKS Electrical, you can restart the program and it should start again. If that dialog isn't showing up when you run the software, re-install the program.

    Hi. Thanks for your video. My SolidWorks Electrical installation always stops around 85%,all other product works well. And when I tried add a port as you introduced, i was told the number1433.1434.26666-26672 is valid. What should I do?

      If your installation is stopping, it is likely getting stopped by a specific component or restriction. Gather up the installation logs and send them to your Value-Added Reseller for review. Since Electrical uses SQL Server it often gets stopped with permissions issues, and once identified it should be a pretty simple fix.
      For the port issue, I recommend using commas not periods. Try "1433, 1434, 26666-26672". If that doesn't work, the regional settings may be creating issues, so I would create two individual exceptions, one for "1433-1434" and another for "26666-26672"

      The serial number will be unique to your company and license or to your school. If this is an educational license please contact your school for serial number and download information. Also understand not all educational licenses include SOLIDWORKS Electrical. For commercial licenses purchased for a business you can use these instructions to download: www.mlc-cad.com/solidworks-help-center/how-to-download-solidworks/
