I've a little experience with elcad and eplan.. In simple electrical documentation I want these structure.. sld, schematic (w/ cross reference, built in and customized symbol library, configurable z plan or entity for batch job automation process), component list, wiring list, and cable schedule. My question, is it more user friendly and easier learning curve on sw electrical than 2 of them?
Certainly! There’s an add-in for SOLIDWORKS called SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D that allows you to link one or more mechanical assemblies to an electrical project and leverage the connections made in 2D to automatically route wires/cables in the 3D model. I cover this tool in this video - you should check it out! ua-cam.com/video/LF-WyPCS36I/v-deo.html
@@the_idiotic_thinker You can represent electro-mechanical devices in the tool, yes. It’s actually got a decent P&ID/PFD symbol library baked in, and the electrical and pneumatic symbols link with one another. On the mechanical side, you can differentiate wire connection points and hose/tubing connection points on the 3D model. Hope this helps!
@@Trimech sorry but am still confused. i get the point that i can show that in the electrical side but can the mechanical simulation be driven with the help of the electrical circuit? i mean a proper 3d simulation. if yes then can you guide me how to do that or where to learn that from?
Спасибо большое, мне понравилось. Вот только деталей производителя не хватает, вот будет очень полезно сделать ссылку на скачивания архива, библиотек и прочей мелочи
Thanks, Jesse. Is it possible that you may have turned off the macros tab accidentally at some point? Easy to turn back on under View>Dockable panels and selecting the macro star icon.
i don't remember doing so but it was off. SWE is new for me, but I did eventually find the view tab then the macro icon to turn on. thnx for getting back.
Thank you so much for this video...
Please upload more videos for SolidWork Electrical
thank you very much for taking the time to help us to understand solidworks electrical...
Nice tutorial. Like the walk through and descriptions. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Truly a great tutorial, thanks for taking the time to make it!
I can not find my hand symbol due to which I can not move my sheet left right or up down
请问 solidworks electrac 2018 无法连接到数据库 怎么解决?
How to number the outer page ?
or how to appear the numbering of the page?
how do you get the electrical components and wires into the ACTUAL 3D model?!!!

Great tutorial. Thanks for your explanation!
How to change capacitance of a capaictor in solidworks electrical
can you combine the electrical with the normal solidwork mechanical model?

@@Trimech this isn't what's in my mind. for example operating a pneumatic piston using a solenoid switch
@@Trimech i went through this video but where is the simulation of the 3d conveyor you have created?

How to move entire sheet I can not move
great work thanks
hi this is nagendra my question is how to XML file creation
Very helpful vedio. Thanks for sharing
Thanks a great tutorial
Well done, thanks a lot
How much is your class training?

very useful . thnx
im not seeing a macro tab similar to the one here.

Thank you very much Sir
Most welcome!
seems good package, compared to those others..
