Been listening and sharing all music with a message for my anti gun violence HIP-HOP Movement in a city that really doesn't know what the culture really is and the majority of rappers sound and put out the same ignorance, some are getting killed or sent to prison. Im in my early 50's. I've been part of the culture since the late 70s early 80s. The majority of San Antonio is Latinos/Chicanos and there is practically no representation by us in any gun violence movement throughout the nation although the statistics for Latinos falling victim to gun violence has always been high. I myself was shot 2 separate times when I was a teenager. Just the usual Hood story, losing friends, family. My closet brother has only been out 5 years since 91-92 and currently serving a life sentence waiting on a few more years to pass to be eligible for parole. I appreciate your message your respect for the craft abd for representing and pushing the culture in the way it was meant to be. Im hoping to catch y'all here in March I believe. I missed y'all last show. I'm going to keep pushing trying to build a street team for outreach as you probably know it's not the most popular thing to do especially for us Hispanics but I know God is working and will send people with just as much passion for the movement if not more.
