Good video.. The last video wasn't bad just chaulk it up to learning experence .. Yeah that stuff in the pan is just a little to chunky for my liking defenitly keep an eye on how its shifts and if it starts slipping so you catch it early... I never use RTV on transmission pans unless its a last resort.. They make the 727 and 904 pan gaskets in silcone rubber metal core with torque limiters they are the best and keep it nice and dry ..when I pull a pan I like to add a drain plug. I do it both ways I can vaccum out the fluid with my oil extractor..or I just get my big pan and do it like you did.. But you always get some red tide on you any way 😂..keep the videos coming and good luck.
Yea, I'm just glad we didn't hurt the engine when it overheated. I usually just use a tad of rtv to hold the gasket in place, I'm gonna see if i can find one of those metal gaskets for the next one. As always, thanks for watching and commenting!
