I bought this motorcycle. It is definitely underrated. It handles really well. It has lots of smooth power. Gone are the comments of "Guzzi's are overweight and underpowered". Not so here. I have owned Hondas, Suzuki's, Yamaha's and a BMW. I have rented Harley's and Kawi's. This motorcycle is my favorite so far. It's beautiful, comfortable and awesome to ride. It's much better than it looks on video.

Thanks for a very entertaining video. I've had a 2011 Norge for a year, it is a great bike for sport touring, also very fast, well balanced, easy to ride well.
And Italina roads, my my, died and gone to heaven. We rode there for three weeks one year, it's the best.

Excellent driving skills. Superior bike. He knows exactly when not to overtake, when to cut lines and approach 'blind' turns in a wide angle. I have missed this. I have not seen anyone corner roads since I moved to the US. Most Motorcyclists I have observed have no idea what bikes can (and cannot) do over here. I have fond memories of driving in Italy. Thanks for posting.

    Thanks Tor,
You and your team do an awesome job with your reviews.
People get a good look at the bikes as it's not over in 2.00 minutes, like so many of the others.
    THANK YOU....

I love the Guzzi! I don't know why it's not that popular in US and Canada.....

Great video, the guy on the camera bike clearly frustrated with the lack of pace by the others, on what looks like the press launch, been there myself a few times on group rides... good riding though buddy 👍
Having lived in Italy a few years ago, the first 4 minutes in, sees the biggest problem riding or driving in Italy, firstly a 40 year old Fiat Panda doing 25kph, then a white van coming the other way on the racing line through the corner, had that so many times driving there on roads like this. 😲

Nice review. And nice footage of the bike in action. Appreciate the efforts to make this one. I will soon be deciding between a Norge and a Griso (with a couple of touring-like options).
I would suggest, please, to not take 2 minutes for a intro. It was a not-entirely-successful artistic attempt. 10-20 seconds is about as much as most people will sit for.

The big Guzzi earned her keep on those fantastic roads....Guzzi rule..

The boy can ride hard and I like the Norge but rolling into corners with a closing throttle seems odd to me? Spot the apex and drive out. I think he could ride in a higher gear for a lot of those bends, the engine sounds thrashy holding it in third most of the time. something you might do with a demo bike that you don't own.

That's how 3/4 of youtube videos are, and why I stay away from used bikes. A touring oriented twin should not be tested/reviewed/ridden as a CBR600RR.

Geez, Tor - you rode the wheels off that thing! I definitely prefer a sport touring bike like this to the big barges from BMW. (K1600? No thank you!) You did a nice review and the video footage is really hairy.

The Norge is a great bike---it's not that easy to find a dealer in the US that has one for sale, at least in my neck of the woods. There aren't many M-G dealers in the US (very few in FL), and M-G doesn't import many Norges to the US, it seems.

Mr. Sagen is obviously a professional with world-class riding skills---most riders could not safely take turns at anywhere near the speeds in this video.

Lots of unsafe riding going on stop crossing the line...... Stay in your lane, hold your line................. Gonna get someone hurt or killed.....

    • @suereed
      @suereed 6 років тому +1

Not so sure that crossing the line is so bad, especially when one can see ahead, it makes sense to straighten the road. But this wasn't a comfortable experience, trailing throttle going into bends makes for a indecisive wobbly bike,
probably a product of riding and trying to keep up with other riders. I kept expecting a crash. But it's always hard watching these videos the lower the go pro the faster and more insane the riding looks. It's about a meter lower than the riders eyes here.
