Adorable pumpkin party. Of course my favorite was the shabby chic "pumpkin" shaped bottle. Great find, I would have grabbed that too! TFS Cheryl! Have a great day my friend!!🤗
Oh my, Cheryl!? I didn't want this video to end😮! It just seems like the less you ladies are spending, the more creative you are! Wow! This 5/5 collab is tha 💣 💥💥💥!!! Fall IS my favorite color, and these creative, talented, gorgeous-ness in your pumpkins are super-duper crafting proof! I don't know where to start with trying to make my own bc I'm afraid I'll MISS something!🤷🏾♀️ THIS IS INSANE AND I LOVE IT!🫣
Thank you, Tracey. I just say do it. You can always repaint it or pull it apart if it doesn’t work, but honestly you will do great. The more you try, the better you get. Try it with something you already own or trash items like tin cans or egg cartons first to keep it cheap. Just have fun!
You know, I think that is why I quit watching crafting videos, for over two years, because everyone seemed to have lost their creativity when they started advertising for expensive paints and IOD products, and instead I taught myself graphic design. All the crafting channels started doing was pushing expensive paints and then slapping expensive IOD transfers on everything, because they either get the paint/IOD stuff free or at a heavily discounted price, as long as they push those products for the viewers to buy them, on every single video. Sadly, many of their viewers live on fixed income or are trying to feed their families and can’t afford all of that…just read the comments. There are a few creators who don’t do all of that, and although they still may use the IOD stuff, they use it sparingly, not on every single video and they never make an advertisement out of it, and guess what, they still have their creativity, like this channel and Sherry at Canterbury Cottage. The others traded their creativeness to shamelessly push products, knowing many of their viewers can’t afford all of that. Now, there is nothing wrong with that, if they had kept the creative side going, but that isn’t what is happening. It is just paint something, slap a transfer and a bow on it, and call it done. The creators who are unique and who are creative (like this channel, Cheryl is awesome) are the smaller channels. As far as I am concerned, IOD has really hurt the crafting community, rather than helped it, because people who used to be really creative, because they had to be, are now just, well…boring. If done properly, IOD could be awesome, but now it’s just cringey to me, because it is on everything and it all looks the same. I just started watching crafting videos again, recently, thinking (hoping) things were different, but they aren’t. I even played a game with myself to see if I could guess what they would do with an item they got from the dollar tree, and I guessed almost everything they were going to do, on every single item. I don’t know, maybe it is just my artist brain or maybe it’s my ADHD brain, but I like unique things and learning how to do different techniques. I have found a few new channels, since I have started watching crafting videos, who are fantastically creative, and all of the comments under those videos are from people saying how they love watching their videos because their projects are so unique, because they’re sick of the same old boring videos too. So, yes, I think you are 100% correct, when they can’t spend a lot, they have to actually get creative and that is why I enjoy videos like that too.
@MissMolly3377 I try hard to keep the items frugal, because I realize not everyone has access to those items. I am blessed to get 95% from my good table at the dump which is awesome, but forces me to be creative because I haven’t seen anyone update these crazy items. 🤪 but, I love it. I also love IOD and I’m working on a huge dresser projects with the inlays, my own creative way. They are expensive and I try to use them sparingly and give alternatives and I will honestly review them. I have found d they are not exactly like other creators have said so stay tuned.
All of your pumkins are beautiful and unique. I'm loving the first one. How cool to use a drink hold. Thanks for sharing your inspiration and creativity 💜 🌻
Love all of them, but my fav is the metal ring with burlap backing pumpkin. Love how your dump has a "still good stuff" table for people to reuse items.
