There is nothing honourable or worthy of support in our military these days and little within our forces of law and order, which is what is primarily being touted here. You’re either a dupe, or so deprived socio-economically that you think signing up to be potential murderers for empire is a better deal than whatever else you can find. That’s a country that is not to be proud of. That’s a country deliberately railing it’s middle and lower class into submission and subservience/obedience. That’s a country that can’t find the money for a decent standard of health care, education and living for its most needy but can find enough money to feed its military with a budget greater than the next 8 top spending countrys’ military budget combined. And growing. That’s a country so bereft of moral direction and service to its citizens that the military, with more than 800 KNOWN bases world wide, is its only means of maintaining some semblance of power and prominence globally.
