It would have to be Alice, as I absolutely adore the novels. Second choice Sinbad. Great presentation as always Eleni. 😀
Thank you Bernard!! I also loooved Alice and Little Red Riding Hood -she reminds me a little bit of Arya from GoT!
In your next video you paint the minis ! Great game, great video :)
Another polished presentation from Rhinodopolou 🦏 Great to see Moketa and Vasilakis again. Maybe they need their own unmatched edition 🤣
Thank you
Great overview and review! I've been curious about Unmatched & this summary gave me a good feel for the game and the characters. Have you tried the Cobble & Fog set and which set would you start with?
Thanks, Billy!! I only have these three that you see in the video, and that's where I'd start cause I loved Medusa and Alice, but I'm also very intrigued by the Coble Fog!
Nice vid, clean - sharp - polished review of an awesome game... I mean i haven't played it but it "feels" so good this game...the only reason i haven't got it is coz i don't have a match to fight against haha.... (the cats are still more awesome and they know it, moketa i m looking at you)
hahaha she totally knows it! Thanks so much, Nik :)
So, a less expensive and more compact version of Heroscape with cards is what you're telling me. That actually looks pretty cool.
I was going to pass on this game and then you just had to go and invoke Heroscape, great now there goes another money sink, lol.
Another top quality video! The game looks easily accessible, and your explanation has me ready to play. In gaming, Eleni, YOU have no equal!
hahaha awww Rodger! Thank you
@@CardboardRhino You're welcome, Eleni! See you in the next video.
Where's the welcome part? (Hello guys, I'm Cardboard Rhino and welcome to another Rhino Says: YES!)
Hahahah True! I thought after 60 episodes it could be omitted but it was actually hard not to get to say it!
@@CardboardRhino it could be but it shouldn't. ;-) Anyway thanks for your answer.
Well done review. This system and its games are really fantastic and certainly fun. Yes, easy to teach, great looking, tons of tactical decisions to be made.
Very good and easy to play game.
Cobble and fog is my favorite unmatched so far.
I see that you had both of your allies with you in this video.
hahahaha yes! And I managed to keep them separate so that they don't go into battle mode :)
@@CardboardRhino :D:D I really like the way how Vasilakis controls the situation;)
Hahah I love that you remember the name Vasilakis :D
@@CardboardRhino
He's a Hero of this quest. How could I !?
😍😍😍
Unmatched. Yes - she is indeed.
awww I'm blushing! haha thanks
I like Unmatched but Star Wars Epic Duels is better.
How so? As I understand it ED has roll to move, card drawing as an action in itself (depriving you of another action), unintuitive line of sight rules and reshuffling of your discards when you run out of cards. These aspects (and possibly others?) presumably made for a less streamlined experience. How is it you feel differently about that?
@@WispNL First off the whole experience of Star Wars Epic Duels is much better. The miniatures are painted, you get miniatures for the sidekicks not just discs, the boards are beautiful and much more inspired than the dull abstract boards in Unmatched. The boards which have been praised by some gamers as brilliant, to me are the worst part of the game. Like most of these games that are redesigned they fixed a problem that wasn't there and in the process sucked most of the fun out of the game. Line of sight has never been an issue in playing Epic Duels over the years but of course I don't play with grognards or rules lawyers that might complain about something that silly. The boards are designed where it is easy enough to tell if you have line of sight. The roll to move is great in Epic Duels, I love dice but I really love multi function dice like the dice in the game Doom. Here in Epic Duels the die also has another function which adds to the fun. All my games of Unmatched have been OK but they really sucked the fun out of the game, for example the characters...Would you rather play Darth Vader or Alice in Wonderland? No brainer for me. Yes Unmatched has Bigfoot and that was a buying point for me but when you get down to the game, the powers are uninspired. In Epic Duels, I can still remember games I had where Yoda used the force to lift an enemy out of the way. My games of Unmatched have been dry.
@@Snoozejocky I see. “Fixes” that in your opinion didn’t need fixing aside, I get the feeling your sentiments mostly stem from thematic preference. That is absolutely valid of course. How would you feel about playing Unmatched Star Wars on a new thematic board and with awesome character powers in the deck?
