I live in Florida 66 years old and by chance heard Sydnie on BGT took me back as I related to all the friends I lost due the the pandemic that worked as entertainers on Carnival. Then Sydnie captured my heart forever. Whenever I am down and in pain and having a difficult I listen to Sydnie and my mood lifts completely. She is a godsend in my life.

Syd, you’ve got millions - literally millions - of people loving you and cheering for you. And a few hundred vocal asses. The thing is those few hundred are going to be asses no matter what else. But it’s the millions that you’ve touched that you can hang on to. ❤❤❤❤

Haters gonna hate. They must be such miserable people inside. It's n 41:47 ot about Sydnie...they're just unhappy & insecure with themselves, so if they can insult others, it somehow makes them feel better about themselves. Focus on the many people/fans who wish you nothing but the best in your career. Your voice is a gift, & I'm so thankful that you're sharing your gift. I wish you the very best with your career...such a beautiful & talented, articulate, smart, funny, & sweet young lady. Sydnie, you're going to be such a wonderful & loving mother someday. A star is born. ❤

That was an amazing interview. Not often can you see the real person answering the questions, they usually put on an act, and give the same answers you’ve heard before. But this seemed so honest and personal, that it makes you like Sydnie even more. 🤩

I've seen that 10 minute video of Miss Sydnie singing 'Tomorrow' countless times, at least once every night since I discovered the vid over a month ago. I end up cutten onions every time! She was so natural and not staged that it rips my heart out. I pray that ALL of her prayers will be answered. May God continue to bless her!

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt comment. It’s amazing how Sydnie’s rendition of “Tomorrow” has touched so many hearts. Her natural, genuine performance is exactly what makes her so special-raw talent that connects with people on an emotional level. I hope, like you, that all her prayers are answered, and I believe she’s on her way to even greater things.

@@peerprojectpod Thank you for your genuine reply and I have now subscribed. Your interview was done very well and you were quite fortunate. Lastly I pray she stays grounded to her roots, ignore her naysayers because all the people that are praising her publicly now will be the first in line to feature her demise, god forbid.

It was and Still IS a beautiful moment in your life. I’ve always been told when people are knocking you in such a negative way, they’re just jealous and Sooo wish they were YOU!!! Know THAT Sydnie!!! It IS a shame when adults act like they’re still children. It’s a shame for them that their lives are so miserable the only pleasure in their lives is knocking someone else’s incredible moment. You continue to ride this big wave and stay off of social media!!! You warm my heart with your singing. Keep doing what you Do, it’s AMAZING!!!

I have always listened to rock and roll. Like Simon I never cared for "Tomorow" but when you sang it, it was from your heart, and I felt it like never before. I never cared for Frank Sanitra but when you sang "My Way" I heard it like never before and it had new meaning. I think you sing how you feel it, and we can relate. I am now a Sydnie Christmas fan. It is clear that you have a heart of gold, and you have millions of fans already. As for what others think and say is none of your business. It is just you, your heart, and your fans.

I see you a good mum, kids will be very lucky to have you as your mum❤. Keep on singing, you were born to be a singer, l'm sure your loved ones will help you in every way to raise a family. I do not think I could like a person I don't know more than I like Sydnie. She has the amazing ability to be the consumate professional while staying humble and honest. I think she will go far releasing albums, but I also think she could do well as a public speaker. My favorite memory is when the weight of finally being recognized was when she collapsed when receiving the gold buzzer. Also, she's sane and very aware of the challenges and responsibilities of mothehood and how social expectations impact children. One last thought - she's stunning, both inside and out. Now what?

    • @peerprojectpod
      @peerprojectpod  3 місяці тому +2

You’ve captured the essence of what makes Sydnie so special beautifully! Her humility, professionalism, and deep understanding of life’s challenges make her stand out both as a performer and a person. It’s incredible how many people have resonated with that moment when she received the gold buzzer-it truly showed the weight of her journey. I think you’re right; she would excel as a public speaker, sharing her experiences as both a musician and a mother.

Sydnie, I love your audition and subsequent performances more than any other one I ever watched on BGT. Your voice is beautiful and a gift. Watching this interview, I like your personality even better. Please stay down to earth. Also, you have natural beauty so I hope you keep your natural looks when you perform rather than letting people change your appearance. Finally, I noticed a crucifix you were wearing. Always give God praise and thanks. He is the one who gave you your talent. Don't let success diminish your relationship with God. Rather use it for Him. We are just passing through and this life will determine our eternity.

It's sad to see such a talented, gifted and humble woman going through what she has. I believe she has more people rooting for her than not, as Amanda once said, she is absolutely gold dust.

Sydnie, you are such a devine person that, even myself you brought me down to tears.
As a musician, I was hit very hard by an article in a public feed, saying that as I was so slow because of being epileptic from a child, that I was quoted as not having a brain... That hurt me so much that during COVID I completely gave up, and stopped playing and airing my live 'Facebook & You-tube' feeds. At 62yrs, thats hard to bare as it had taken its toll on my health. As time goes on, I always think of going back performing and composing, but, thinking that after 34 or so years as a Organ/Keyboard/Trumpet player, one would have thought that my mind was hard as a rock. YES! This industry does have its knockbacks mainly fron jelous people or bad media coverage that try to put you down a peg or two. Sometimes, I had even got to the stage of selling my instruments and give up, even my Bb_Cornet that I had been playing in my local marching band from the age of 12, and, as this was my AA present from my parents.
Why should I give up my profession just because of a few bad apples?
I just don't know what to do anymore? I use to live for my music... 😥😥😥

Watching this as an old (71) man I felt heartbroken seeing the effects of modern life, social media, woke culture and everyone wanting to be a critic, on this wonderful woman. So glad that Sydnie has such an inner strength. albeit built on so much rejection, to get through this phase of her life. Sydnie will be a wonderful mother when the time comes and obviously a superstar vocalist is already written in the stars. I'll probably need to take plenty of tissues when I go to see her in Canterbury next Feb, it will be the highlight of my year. Music still has a future with this talent, thank you Syd for giving it to us. Peace and love. 🥰🥰

Thank you so much for this interview with Sydnie! I'm Brazilian and followed her BGT journey from Brazil, rooting for her with all my heart, praying for her to shine her brighest light on every performance, cause she soo deserved it! I jumped up and down so much when she won! I rewatched all her performances over and over again for the next couple of months. These days her new album's ad popped up and I listened to her studio version of My Way... I have no words... I am just so deeply thankful for her being here on Earth and sharing with us her heart, gift and passion. I hope she gets to know that her soul, her voice, art and gift are so powerful that have been influencing life-changing decisions, been the inspiring soundtrack of deeply transformative moments in my life and in the life of others (as I've spoken to others that are experiencing the same). Nevermind "haters"... Anytime a light shines bright and strong, it'll bother those that are too deep in the dark and don't feel quite ready to come out of it yet. On the other hand, it'll be the life-saving lighthouse for so many and a source of joy, strenght and inspiration. That's just how it is. I love you Sydnie and am deeply thankful for all that you are! Hope to see you live soon! All the very best to you both! With all my love 🙏✨🎶💖🎶✨

I have followed them all from Elvis to Lennon to Bono, from Diana Ross to Linda Ronstadt to Whitney Houston and more, and honestly, I have never... NEVER... seen or heard anyone in the genre of popular music with more charm, vitality, vivacity, authenticity, personality appeal, clarity, power, vocal purity, wholesome good looks, stunning natural talent and as compelling and transfixing as Sydnie Christmas. Alicia Dixon said it in a nutshell: "You're full of character, personality, you've got it all going on. Say no more, girl, you smashed it!"
As a self-indulgent aside, if I were just a bit younger, and if Ms. Christmas were not already adoringly "attached," I might (hmm) take a leave of absence, fly off to London to see one (or more) of her concerts, wrangle a backstage pass, and chat her up, as they say, and see what might happen from there. Ah, but the Fates seldom allow such wishful thinking to play out. "C'est la vie."
Sydnie, millions of us will be watching you for years to come as your star surely continues to rise and grow even more brilliant. Stay true to yourself. In spite of your doubts, you are darn near perfect just the way you are.

Mr Duke - Great Interview - questions - well thought out - very honest - all of it - can sense the madness - frustration of the madness , dealing with it - picking up the desire for family - in good time - .Sydnie - coming to terms that there are actually people who don't understand that just because you are on stage and in the public eye - does not = professional income - thought of the honesty of sacrifices to try and achieve = sums up alot of artists who try and do what they would like to do - but subsidise it - by any means - - think this is normal - with a good team round her - lets get the Sydnie Show on road - deserves the chance of success 🙂🙂🙂👏👏👏
