I said that in another video myself. The way she sings them.... It's like seeing them with the fog lifted from my ears. Suddenly they have a new meaning and the glory of the song that was always there... it was just hidden. Then Sydnie sang them and it's oh... that's what you were always meant to be. She's glorious, and I really do hope the pressure of fame doesn't change who she is... She's lovely.

I’m 80. And I’ve watched this show for many years and have loved a lot of the contestants who were extremely good. But this girl sings like no one else has. I don’t know what her pain is, but it’s in her singing and I am so glad that she won and they had the common senseto give her the golden buzzer.

One final thought, her control, range and her emotional attachment to the songs puts her right up there with Barbra . . .

Her 1st audition, she was playing around and funny thing is, she is,hilarious until she started to sing and the tone [pun intended] changed. She did not give a sob story which made her even more deserving to win the entire competition. She gave masterclass after masterclass. Totally sublime .

I am very certain I will be listening to her album whenever that is released also. For now, I am cool with watching her BGT performances and whatever new content she releases going forward. Never been excited for a new artist like this especially from a talent show arena either. Usually, its either groups or singers that are not really that good. Susan Boyle is great, but after sampling one of her albums, I honestly like her 1st live audition. Syndie Christmas just have an everyday girl look to her- normal and just wears regular clothes. I think that resonates with a lot of people and she did not have a sob story either. She walked on stage, cracked jokes- which were funny THEN killed her audition and won. The thought of her not winning, I think that would of raised a lot of eyebrows because no one can teach that. Performance after performance was a total masterclass. Even when I would rewatch her performances, it is as though I have heard it for the first time and she is the originator of the tracks. As an avid listener of classical music, she will definitely be in my playlist. Not to mention, her being humble really played to her strength and I think many were looking at that too. Cannot wait to see how her career progresses 🙂.
June 27 2024 I"m a 69 year old Canadian who also has viewed her performances multiple times. Hands down the best female singer I have ever heard !!! I would love to hear her perform a duet with Tom Ball !!! That would be awesome.

For me, Sydnie is the best female singer I have heard. She is so humble & beautiful to boot! I am 78 & I can sing a bit since I was a kid. But her rendition of the classic which I sang last year on a sydney boat cruise, is the best ever!

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and on Variety shows everybody and their mother would give us their version of these worn out songs, time and time again. .....HOLY DOO DOO! Man she sure breathed life into these. Her facial expressions showing us her connection to the lyrics, her humor, .... her VOICE! God it's hard not to fall in love with her - just simply amazing.
Never watched and be amazed, stunned over a singer as good as Sydnie for a long time coming out from a talent show as big as the BGT. She for me is already a Diva. Great voice. So much. Loved her renditions specially that of "My Way" so powerful, so heart pounding, mesmerizing.

@@bradcrawford1998 nope i live in the good ole USA lol. It would be cool to see her live and I really think she will be well recieved across the Atlantic too. I am very certain I will be listening to her album whenever that is released also. For now, I am cool with watching her BGT performances and whatever new content she releases going forward. Never been excited for a new artist like this especially from a talent show arena either. Usually, its either groups or singers that are not really that good. Susan Boyle is great, but after sampling one of her albums, I honestly like her 1st live audition. Syndie Christmas just have an everyday girl look to her- normal and just wears regular clothes. I think that resonates with a lot of people and she did not have a sob story either. She walked on stage, cracked jokes- which were funny THEN killed her audition and won. The thought of her not winning, I think that would of raised a lot of eyebrows because no one can teach that. Performance after performance was a total masterclass. Even when I would rewatch her performances, it is as though I have heard it for the first time and she is the originator of the tracks. As an avid listener of classical music, she will definitely be in my playlist. Not to mention, her being humble really played to her strength and I think many were looking at that too. Cannot wait to see how her career progresses 🙂.

June 27 2024 I"m a 69 year old Canadian who also has viewed her performances multiple times. Hands down the best female singer I have ever heard !!! I would love to hear her perform a duet with Tom Ball !!! That would be awesome.

For me, Sydnie is the best female singer I have heard. She is so humble & beautiful to boot! I am 78 & I can sing a bit since I was a kid. But her rendition of the classic which I sang last year on a sydney boat cruise, is the best ever!

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and on Variety shows everybody and their mother would give us their version of these worn out songs, time and time again. .....HOLY DOO DOO! Man she sure breathed life into these. Her facial expressions showing us her connection to the lyrics, her humor, .... her VOICE! God it's hard not to fall in love with her - just simply amazing.

Never watched and be amazed, stunned over a singer as good as Sydnie for a long time coming out from a talent show as big as the BGT. She for me is already a Diva. Great voice. So much. Loved her renditions specially that of "My Way" so powerful, so heart pounding, mesmerizing.
