the fact that you've been looking for claudia and the sad goodbye for a while is hilarious to me because when i was a kid, my mom would see it all the time at thrift stores and had book amnesia over it so she'd bring it home every time she saw it bc she didnt remember i'd had it and read it. i sold it to half price books at least three times and she'd bring it right back home. multiple times and multiple copies. if you need another copy of that book its probably at the half price books in kenwood.
“When I dropped my phone in the toilet I thought it would be a cursed day” 😂 I can’t … why did I picture a book cover in the SVH style format w u on the cover dropping the phone in the toilet looking all shocked early 90s style and the title of the book “The Cursed Day” 😂 ur hilarious
I've been so inspired by your home library to really put some work into mine. I recently started using libib and a barcode scanner to scan and record each of the books in my collection so I can keep track of what ones I own when I go secondhand book shopping
Even though I’ve been to The Strand, & B&N NYC, and both Powells, Portland your bookshops still look SO BIG. I think part of it is that they’re seem more spaced out than the ones I’ve been to, and FREE BOOKS are always a reason to celebrate.
I think it’s a cultural thing in Ohio that books and reading are more important then other parts of the country that and store space and rent being way cheeper in the city’s like Columbus and Cincinnati then New York City and Portland people can afford to buy and rent the space for big book stores for a million dollars you can buy a very nice five bedroom house in the best neighborhood in Cleveland or Columbus I don’t know what the deference for commercial properties are but I think it would be similar
I have been to a 2nd & Charles in Richmond, spent about 5 hours searching there… we just don’t have anything that big in the U.K. where space is at a premium.
Awesome vlog and haul! That’s so cool you got a bunch of those books for free! Haven’t done book hunting in a long time but this makes me want to do that again soon! Cheers!
Maybe instead of the 'Car Macabre' you could call it the 'Hearse Macabre', after all any vehicle is a hearse if you believe enough. The bins full of unorganized books always stresses me out hahaha. I love a little bookcave. Oooh Shadowrun books cool. I love the old Blockbuster cases. Cheesy Sci-Fi books are DANGEROUS to start buying hahaha. Vampire Lover looks great! Oh man 90s X-Men is so good hahaha I think I have a few from those series. Yeah Peter Bencheley's Amazon is SO HARD to find in good condition because the stepback is ALWAYS getting mangled, awesome find! Archie Horror is good, I read the Jughead Werewolf novel and it was great! The cat books I've been meaning to read for ages. Do you have a system for pressing out warped books? I have a few and I never know how to deal with them. Last Action Hero! YES. Oooh those Ya Universal Monsters series are SUPER COOL. Great video as always.
❤ My son shared your channel to me and I’m so excited 🎉🎉🎉 Wow 🤩 I just love this. So many good memories and your excitement when sharing your finds is awesome ❤ Now I want to read a book 📕
Hello Creep! Fellow horror obsessed reader here. Love your videos! There is a whole world of books that I didn't even know existed that you have introduced me to so I just wanted to thank you for that 🙂 keep up the great work
awww, I remember reading Claudia says goodbye to her grandmother. The apple paperbacks bring me back in time. Love it. At least you dropped your phone in your OWN toilet. I dropped mine in a public restroom at a bowling alley once 🤮 I'll take one of those pistachio treats I saw in the fancy case! I didn't know they made Garbage pail kids books! Super fun haul! Thanks for taking us with you
Hi Cameron ,just read Autumncrow and loved it and so worth reading during Halloween season has all the Halloween flavor I could want ,hope to read more of your books more soon ,
I love your videos. I used to collect and read most of what you collect for your library. Books are amazing and I am happy to see someone as enthusiastic about books as I am. Happy Reading
Love Caroline B. Cooney! Fun fact, they filmed the cheesy made for tv movie for The Face on the Milk Carton in my home town and I was in the running to play the younger version of the main character. It was down to me and the girl who actually got the part. But that's my "almost" claim to fame. I was almost The Face on the Milk Carton. 😂
I love when you go book shopping. 😊 Hey, was that 1 bookstore you went to (forgot the name) "Books something, part of B &N? It's set up just like them.
I think this might be late. But if you still have time for Halloween, I would try The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury. It's a really fun, and exciting book.
Ohhhh what a wonderful Sunday treat! Your videos, your books and your beautiful home ambiance are one of the best gifts youtube has ever given us 🫶🏻 Happy Halloween 🎃 👻🎃👻🎃
WOW! I literally just mapped how far away from that bookstore I would be. I might have to plan a long day trip. That 1.25 store looks devine! Thanks for another fun upload!
I just finished Autumncrow High today. Really enjoyed it, and hope you continue writing more installments. Also: thoroughly impressed by your writing skills.
This channel helped me get back into reading (well, listening to audiobooks at least...ADHD...). Being a huge horror movie fan it's been fun hearing the books upon which my favorite movies are based. Just finished "Dark Harvest" by Norman Partridge and can't wait to see the movie. Happy Halloween, Creep! 🧟♂️
I get SO excited when you post! You’re one of my favorite UA-camrs and you’ve gotten me into reading again! I’m into all the creepy stuff you are so I love when you show new to me books. Thank you for the videos! ❤️
Love when you take us for book shopping …besides of the fact that because of the influence , i empty my wallet the next day on book shopping😂😂😂 Anyways Love from INDIA and HAPPY HALLOWEEN Cameron🎃
By the time Full Moon videos were originally released I was working at Ritz Video, which then got taken over by Blockbuster… these films always take me back to those big box VHS days. I did treat myself to the Puppet Master Trunk in this sale… can’t wait to dive in to Tulon’s world, having not seen most of the later movies. I hope you enjoy the ones you picked up, I don’t remember watching them back then.
The trunk is awesome!! I thought of getting it, but I already had the first three movies so, eh. Maybe one day they’ll sell the trunk separately so I can buy it to house my movies 😅
It's under the Cat Who series and Lillian Jackson Braun has passed away. The book that she was working, at the time of her death, will never be released. Sad, we'll never find out what other adventures that the cats will get themselves into.
Great vlog! I used to have the Tale of the Nightly Neighbors book from the Are You Afraid of the Dark series. I loved the episode and I was obsessed with the book, because it continued on after the episode's cliffhanger ending and had an actual resolution. I'm sure I sold it at a yardsale....stupid past me!
Love your videos man, been watching for a while just don’t comment much. I wish I could visit the Dayton area more often, love it down there. I’m up in Toledo so it takes me about two and a half hours to get down there. Not sure where you are in OH (I get it if you don’t want to share that) but if you’re closer than me I’m totally jealous. So many cool shops and stores down there. Anyway great stuff as usual, I was hoping we would get another video before spooky season was over and you delivered!
Wow! What a haul!! I almost want to make a journey to that warehouse bookstore and camp out for a few days. I'll probably need a struck to ship my haul home:-)
Awesome vlog! Sticky books (always say "no!" to those), Vampire lover, going back to dive into the literal box of books, sweet treats and coffee...and alas, a recovered iphone that took a perilous dive into the..."terlit." Who could ask for more!? Happy Halloween, Cameron! Enjoy and have a spooky safe time of it all!!!
Paul Zindell and the Savage Land x-men book were my jam back in Junior High xD. Man I felt almost dirty reading Raptor during SSR with all the blood and guts splattering the pages.
I had vacation last week so i drove 10 hiurs to visit Dollar Book Swap. It was nice, not as great as your haul. But at that very Half Price books i walked out with a medium sized box loaded down. It was a fun vacation
I know you said that you aren't big into historical fiction books but you should consider checking out the Wicked History books by Scholastic. They are great fun all about the demons of history like Vlad the Impaler, Kangis Kan, Rasputin, etc. Great video!
I think Bone Chillers is a very solid series. Shivers too, but only if your selecting the right books from the series. Some are great, some are terribly written. 😅
When comes to monsters I’m More of a Frankenstein and mummy guy . It should be noted the first goosebumps book I ever found in the wild and reviewed on my channel was attack of the mutant so that on is special to me . Maybe I should reread that one agin .
I wish they had something like that here! I'm currently teaching english and i wish i had short, middlegrade books to give away to students so they practice. Since the fnaf movie came out I'm curious to ask: Are you not interested in the Five nights at Freddy's books? I heard their fazbear frights and tales from the pizzaplex series are comparable to goosebumps and other horror books alike!
The cat who series is called the cat who . And the last book the cat who smelled smoke she died Lillian Jackson Braun passed away be fore she finished the last novel and it never came out . Also there is a cat who cook book and a cat who did a podcast
I get that. I used to only buy books that are in mint condition, but now I tend to pick up books in lesser shape as long as they’re cheap, with the intention of replacing it later. I’m always shocked to see torn up copies going for crazy prices online though.
Why don’t I ever see you with a Frankenstein shirt or a black cat shirt . Some one needs to make a shirt with Frankenstein sitting in arm chair reading Dracula with two black cats on either side of him in crimson read then a companion shirt of with Dracula but with a stack a Frankenstein movies on vhs and two black bats on Perch next to him on a neon orange shirt .
Whenever you upload it gives me a strong desire to read and write.
That’s good! 😁
So much fun to go to bookstores with you!! Thank you for bringing us along!!
My pleasure! 😁🎃
WHATTTT XMEN BOOKS!!!! OH MAN.. LOVE THE 90S CARTOON!!!
That store makes me want to take my next vacay in Ohio! Great pick-ups!
the fact that you've been looking for claudia and the sad goodbye for a while is hilarious to me because when i was a kid, my mom would see it all the time at thrift stores and had book amnesia over it so she'd bring it home every time she saw it bc she didnt remember i'd had it and read it. i sold it to half price books at least three times and she'd bring it right back home. multiple times and multiple copies. if you need another copy of that book its probably at the half price books in kenwood.
Funny you say that, because I just found myself a really nice copy at a Half Price Books yesterday! So I already get to replace this one. :)
💜🎵💜contagious enthusiasm+true sympathy+deep competence=cameron chaney

Oh what! Adventures in Legoland! I have not thought about that book in years! I'm pretty sure I checked it out of the library so many times as a kid!
Phenomenal video! I always learn so much when you go through the books that you bought! Wishing Texas had a library book swap right about now 😅
Your enthusiasm is infectious. I always have a great time watching your videos. 😊
That Paul Zindel book unlocked some memories I didn’t know I still had
I love these shopping videos because we don’t have any stores like that near me
Great video Cameron. It’s awesome how excited you get for these books! Great finds

You always make me want to go out and dig up some of my old favorite Nancy Drews.😬🤓
Awesome vlog and haul! That’s so cool you got a bunch of those books for free! Haven’t done book hunting in a long time but this makes me want to do that again soon! Cheers!
Best type of videos. One thing is missing though. Since I do not live in USA I would love to see more "outside" of the stores :)
Maybe instead of the 'Car Macabre' you could call it the 'Hearse Macabre', after all any vehicle is a hearse if you believe enough.
The bins full of unorganized books always stresses me out hahaha. I love a little bookcave. Oooh Shadowrun books cool.

The Worst Witch books and tv series were so cute
❤ My son shared your channel to me and I’m so excited 🎉🎉🎉 Wow 🤩 I just love this. So many good memories and your excitement when sharing your finds is awesome ❤ Now I want to read a book 📕

Another great video!! I always want to spend money I don’t have after watching your videos! You’re a great bad influence! lol 😉😂 📚 🖤
Thanks for this amazing video! Gave me such nostalgia remembering a lot of these books from my younger years!
Awesome haul Cam!. Btw I thoroughly enjoyed Autumncrow and I'm about to dive into Autumncrow High. I will need to check out Paul Zindel.
Dollar Book Swap looks awesome would love to go there someday. So many good bookstores in your area I’m so jealous lol.
Amazing haul! Those X Men books are so cool! ❤
So fun! That is a dream to be able to look for FREE BOOKS without anyone else around!
Hey Creep! I love your videos so much I get excited every time you upload a new video it's 1am here but I still watch it before going to bed

Loved book shopping w you! The coffee and treats looked amazing! Thanks for taking us along, Cameron.
Glad you enjoyed!
I never should have left Ohio. So many good bookstores there! Also, I now require you to sing and dance in every video moving forward. 😊
This channel helped me get back into reading (well, listening to audiobooks at least...ADHD...). Being a huge horror movie fan it's been fun hearing the books upon which my favorite movies are based. Love face on the milk carton! So many more ideas!! Thank you for your amazing fun vlogs!
Glad someone else appreciates The Face on the Milk Carton! 🙌
What a haul! 😊
what a haul!!! 🎃
So many fun finds!!!
One of my favorite older series is Nero Wolfe . Along with Sherlock Holmes . I’ve read some Ellery Queen .
I get SO excited when you post! You’re one of my favorite UA-camrs and you’ve gotten me into reading again! I’m into all the creepy stuff you are so I love when you show new to me books. Thank you for the videos! ❤️

Now I want to check out Girl Talk. Lol😅
Great video!
Thank you!!
That place is amazing. I don't think we have anything like that around us. Wish we did. Fun video.
Thank you!! I enjoyed your latest book haul. Keep up the good videos!
Oh wow, I've been searching for Phyllis Naylor books for ages - awesome find Cameron! Love seeing your book finds!

What a great video! Your collection is outstanding. I have a bookstore in my area called Book Rescuers that you would love.
Have a Happy Halloween!
Thank you!! Where is Book Rescuers located?
That place looks like a dream. Damn! Wish we had one in Glasgow
It's a great place! Hopefully they expand outside of the US one day.
Wow! What a haul!! I almost want to make a journey to that warehouse bookstore and camp out for a few days. I'll probably need a struck to ship my haul home:-)

Found my first Christopher Pike book The Midnight club after watching you recommend his work and im excited to dive into it soon.
I hope you enjoy it!
Hey creep! Ur an awesome amazing and very cool dude! Ur book is amazing!! And ur quite funny too!! Ure video made my day!!
A book swap where everything is only a dollar and twenty-five cents is something we need down here in Texas.
I know you said that you aren't big into historical fiction books but you should consider checking out the Wicked History books by Scholastic. They are great fun all about the demons of history like Vlad the Impaler, Kangis Kan, Rasputin, etc. Great video!
Awesome video i enjoyed it since I'm in battle with a severe case of the flu and have a happy halloween 🎃
Oh no! I hope you feel better soon.
😊
I was curious about Bentley Little. If you've read a few of his, is there a good one to start with? 😊
I would suggest "The Collection", his short story collection. There's some good ones in there.
"The House" is a good one too. Bentley Little is awesome. Richard Laymon is also a good one too if you like Little.
Thank you for the suggestions! I also have The Store, so I may give that a go first!
Did you ever watch Crazy as Hell? I don't remember much except that it has a plot twist similar to a Hellraiser STV sequel. Oh, and the dance.
I haven't, but I actually own a DVD copy so I'll check it out soon! :)
Are there any knock-off series you prefer over the originals? (Referring to legitimate knock-offs rather than competing similar series)
I think Bone Chillers is a very solid series. Shivers too, but only if your selecting the right books from the series. Some are great, some are terribly written. 😅
When comes to monsters I’m
More of a Frankenstein and mummy guy . It should be noted the first goosebumps book I ever found in the wild and reviewed on my channel was attack of the mutant so that on is special to me . Maybe I should reread that one agin .

Do you go in with list .I would love that store
A mental list 😅
Loving all the books shopping and hauling but hopefully you cleaned your phone? 😂
Of course 🤣🤣🤣
The cat who series is called the cat who . And the last book the cat who smelled smoke she died Lillian Jackson Braun passed away be fore she finished the last novel and it never came out . Also there is a cat who cook book and a cat who did a podcast
Somehow I have never been to the dollar bookswap, I gotta fix that.
Oh my gosh, you have to go!!!!! They restock constantly so there’s always something new to find.
I’m gearing up for cozy reading season. I just pulled my copy of RL Stine’s The Snowman
"Auto Macabre" has a nice flow to it. 👹
One thing that stops me from collecting vintage books is that it bothers me to an extreme when my books aren't in mint condition.
I get that. I used to only buy books that are in mint condition, but now I tend to pick up books in lesser shape as long as they’re cheap, with the intention of replacing it later. I’m always shocked to see torn up copies going for crazy prices online though.
Is this unlisted?
I think you may have accessed it a day early via playlists. Haha
the macabre mobile more like it
I like that!

Just a warning. Half priced books went up in prices so beware of retail.
Hi
Hello! 👋
