I seem to remember this one being used a lot when games ended as a team tried a late comeback in a low-output one-score game, but ultimately fell short. 16-10, 17-13, etc.
@Leomarvinman88 this was actually used by ESPN, although I believe it was last used in the 90s. Just search in the youtube engine for saints giants 96 NFL primetime---somebody posted several clips of highlights of 1996 games from NFL primetime back then.

It was used during the late 80s-early 90s. Usually for the shit matchups like Cards vs Bucs. The highlights of those crap games were very short. Only the first minute of this song was heard. Either Bill Pidto or Robin Roberts did the highlishts to this song.
Sounds like it could be the alternate opening theme for Airwolf.
I was thinking the same thing. Eerily similar. May have been by the same composer or possibly one modeled after the other.
This was the 1996 New York Jets theme song

Kicker with his head down after missing a 42 yarder lol
When I listen to this I picture a tense game between two teams that are on a losing streak and desperately need a win.
when Cleveland Browns played last game in Municipal Stadium & Houston Oilers last game
You typed same comment on another song and nobody cared . You fail scrub
@@bigdaddytrips6197 lmao 🤣
@@berniemackattack86what’s so funny?
Oh great.... another Patriots/Colts highlight from 1991.
Yeah this song was used for the turd matchups. I remember the Victor Kiam days when the Pats were the doormat of the NFL
This was like the 93 Bledsoe Parcells Pats highlights too
Always loved that part around 2:05
Good catch. Like that part as well. Rest of song...decent.
Kinda sounds like pirates of the Caribbean for a second there
Mostly the '96 Jets highlights.
They were a joke that year.
Rich Kotite: We hustled and swarmed
@@atworkstation i just love my jets
@@fse2520 I'm sorry
I sense a little bitterness of those shitty jets in this comment.. lol 😂
This would be a really good New York Jets ✈️ song, if they ever make it to The Playoffs this 2023 - 2024 NFL year!…
I really like this one too, in addition to International Statement. These are my two favorite.
They used this one when Bill Pidto did the highlights (usually involved the Bucs, Cards or Rams).
Loved Bill Pidto! "We have a developing....sit..u.ation!"

Bills/Dolphins 1990
Always rooted for the Dolphins as I'm from there. But, dand Bills usually won. Kelly to Reed and Loften. Keith McKellar
Thurman the thorn in my side Thomas. But, great teams
@aomoridave Or teams that are in last place.
Welcome to dogshit football with Robin Roberts. Seriously, whenever she covered a game, you knew that was 2 teams in the crapper
Yes! I seem to remember many a Cards game highlights with this song. Bill Pidto was another who got stuck with the shit games with this music too.
