Engaging with diverse viewpoints, including those of Kennedy Hall, Tim Gordon, and others, we underscore the importance of charity and understanding amidst doctrinal crises. With an eye on the societal consequences of losing a unified Christian framework, this episode promises to be both thought-provoking and entertaining.

That time Lofton went on an extremely condescending hour and a half long tirade about Brian Holdsworth (of all people) over next to nothing left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. So insufferable.

  • @medworakowski101

Don’t you think he is on someone’s payroll?

To those saying you are just "gossiping," they need to realize how damaging Lofton's sophistry is to people who are trying to hold to the true Faith or to people interested in the Catholic faith. He's just confirming the Protestant or Orthodox criticism that Catholics blindly follow the Pope even against the Faith itself, if possible. To call out Lofton is to justly condemn someone who is causing scandal and an undue feeling of guilt in sincere, confused Catholics. Lofton's attitude is causing countless people right now to either leave the Church or not join.

Cardinal Zen is an actual hero of the faith who suffered persecution. Michael Lofton could not compare to him.

He also went after the channel Classical Theist viciously for some of the softest and most benign criticism possible. All Classical Theist did was critique one bit of one argument of Michael Lofton’s. And Lofton dedicated an hour stream to name-calling and mockery. Classical Theist offered to have a dialogue, and Lofton mocked him even further and said he was “not going to engage with someone so uncharitable” without a hint of irony!

  • @Hillcountry_Catholic

He talks down to people just like a woke liberal would. “If you don’t agree with me then you’re a blah blah blah.”

  • @bigchickenfu

We all need a little refutation of Michael Loften every now and Zen.

I love how Lofton always has his theology degree from DeVry on display in the background

Let's pray for his soul, he has fallen quite a bit. Thank AB for what you do, Ave Maria and Viva Cristo Rey.

  • @MystoRobot

Thank God for Zen and anyone else seeing through Lofton's bs.

It is so true how deep the “Pope-splaining” thing goes with Lofton, to the point that he swings his arms blindly at anyone even claiming to be slightly confused by anything Pope Francis says. I think I commented here a while back with this but I remember commenting on his video about my confusion over Fiducia Supplicans. I was in RCIA at the time and completely unaware of the Catholic online space and was only vaguely familiar with trads or any sort of infighting at all. I casually watched a few creators, just to learn new info on the faith in my free time, Lofton being one of them. I read the document and had some questions because I thought he would help me harmonize my fears with my understanding of it. He commented that my confusion could only have come from being uncharitable or brainwashed by schismatics, and there was no way I could’ve read it in good faith and still feel conflicted, and called me to repent. At the time I didn’t even know what a schismatic was, I don’t think lol 😂

  • @susiefromomaha

    Good on Cardinal Zen.

  • @Hammertime177

Lofton is a nasty piece of work to anyone that disagrees with him. His theological mental gymnastics are easy to see through. His blind defence of liberalism is not good. We need to pray for him.

  • @sartoriusrock

I tend to try to check myself, as I am a recent Catholic revert who has biases towards tradition and want to make sure I’m not in an echo chamber. I used to use Lofton as a sense-check to make sure my inner “trad” wasn’t getting too “rad”. I couldn’t do it anymore once his tirade against

Lofton is guilty of what he accuses everyone else of 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Thank you Nick for your impeccable explanation on Majesterium. Every Catholic should know this.

i honeslty didnt know how disliked michael was i would listen to him sometimes im not a big fan of his but wow glad i found you guys

  • @christopherus

His challenge to engage all of his “points” reminds me of the one debate I saw with a Dimond Bro: flood the conversation with a scattering of “points,” and if the opponent can’t refute them ALL systematically and individually in the limited time or space available, declare them the loser.

  • @gcummings88

I greatly respect the people who tell Lofton they like him but the disagree with him. I can't say that. I cannot stand to listen to him.
