That's awesome bro, I am in this +13% on my trade from 2 days ago, and set and forget, trailing stop loss. Fxalexg literally obliterated all my scalper tendencies, now is 4h and above and that's delicious, 1h for me one month ago was like the distance earth moon, 4h was on another galaxy 😂😂. Swingtraders are the majority of the world's pro traders from prop firms. Because all the trade theory tech stuff was created observing since 1880 weekly and daily charts, 4h is also awesome, anything lower is just for entries.
If you don't know fxalexg is the top #1 trader on the world he did 100$ to 300.000 on 90 days, he blown the acc after that, because so much pressure he was transforming in a newbie with a lot of errors and not even close to his playbook and A+setups setandforget lifestyle, bro was sick eating junkie and just sleeping 2-4hours, higher anxiety, because he donated all his life to this challenge. @@DetailersunitedRadio yep bro, swingtrading is real trading nothing more, it was since 1880 only weekly, daily charts analysis, today we can trust in 4h in sync with the Daily, but anything lower than, isn't trading, is just new ways people created to try get something from the market, off course some scalping techniques work, but real trading is swingtrading, you won't scalp in a 1M usd account for sure 😜
but don't take profits and stop losses expire overnight?

This market and swing trading. Yes you have you work cut out. I run two businesses and day . I trade mornings I’ll start looking at 8 am if no econic data I’ll do a quick scalp in the morning and done. At least do that while leaning a new style of trading

I think you need to change from your breakout strategy to price action in order to fine tune the swing trading.
It's counterproductive i.m.o. try to keep multiple plates spinning. Do one thing and one thing good. It's not for nothing that trading is called the most difficult game out there. That being said, everyone has to do whatever they deem best. Succes with whatever you pursue.

Would.you also say swing trading has made you more profitable? I'd prefer take one trade a week and make 10K then to take 3 trades making 10k..
The hard part about swing trading is dealing with the huge pullbacks. I'm an indecisive person in general so I'm always wanted to trade both directions, this makes it difficult for me to hold my trades. I'm getting there tho

Trade with the trend, so if the market is going up there is no need to trade shorts, and vice versa
You said it!… huge pullbacks are something I can stomach but sometimes…jeez! Lol
From my perspective, if you enter on 4 hr, watch only the 4hr.. don't go looking at the 5 min seeing every huge pull back... A down trend on a 4hr will be pure red candles at the end of the day. Maybe only peek at the trade at the end of each trading day. Proper risk management is what dictates our success. A good trading plan is key! Again this is just my perspective...You can do it man. You've invested far too much time in yourself to see anything less than sucess. you can do it! We all can do it. 💪🏼
Swing trading is the best especially when you do position stacking to increase gains. You can double your account in days with minimal risks.

Swing trading is the best and SAFEST way of trading. Scalping is financial suicide. Day trading more risky but more rewarding if you are extremely good

Hi Tori! I have been swing trading for a few years and the #1 thing imo and at this point in my experience is proper risk management. It is very similar, if not the same as how you set your S/R and trend lines for day trading. There are other indicators and patterns you can consider, but these defined areas will help you manage your risk. Rooting for you!
Hey, how do u deal with the news events and uncertainty around swing trading, have u found an edge , any tips would help, thanks ,I generally trade using only TA as of now
Depending on what time frame you are trading (I primarily trade the daily time frame) the news has little impact so while I remain aware of things like when earnings is coming, I mostly ignore it. You will notice a lot of news follows movement, not the other way around. Have I found an edge? I would say, if I "found an edge" it's better risk management. This is the one thing that has really allowed my accounts to grow. Risk management would include: reducing or increasing the amount I put in a position based on it's potential to rise, setting moving stops (once it's cleared a price point, how much of my profit am I willing to lose, etc) All these things you develop over time with actual experience in the arena and diligent backtesting, practice and continuous fine tuning of your trading plan. All of this also has to match up with your triggers, traumas, and reactivity around money and loss. The more you know what moves you internally, the more you can create rules around your trading to protect you from your impulsive and reactive self. And also once you start to identify your triggers, you can work on those things to help you become more objective. For example, I don't like to lose more than $1000 per trade at this point, so if I set a stop that compromises more than that, I have a hard time dealing with the loss. And at the same time, I will allow a position to dip below that if I have strong considerations in favor of a pop in price. I hope this make sense. In short, you find an edge by creating a trading plan for yourself, you can base the strategy off of someone else when you first get started but ultimately you want to leave room for yourself in it. @@suntej18

Bro I’m trying to learn swinging too. I’m a scalper I like to be in and out in a few minutes, with bigger lot sizes, cuz it’s better on my mental. Holding trades is too stressful for me. Swing trading has been draining my accounts trying to get decent entries, coming back jus to see I got stopped out with a loss. People are like “it’s fine, jus one trade a day if you get stopped out wait till the next day” nooo scalpers find setups everywhere 😂 with minimal losses if you are using S + D zones as your friend

Swing trading takes time to learn, just like options. You must also monitor hundreds of technical indicators/stocks daily to take advantage of opportunities. Takes the average investor years to learn and be successful.

I have made most if my money from swing trading in a Bull market, now is not the best time for it, I would stick to trading till the market turns around, options have also been good lately👍

swing is u buy forex or stock and let it do it stuff usually trader hold for 2 3 days day trading is selling buying the whole day
Day trading is buying and selling a stock within the same trading day. swing trading is buying a stock and selling it after a day or more of holding

Instead of manifesting blindly, I suggest you attempt getting to know Jesus, he really changed my life and through prayer, “manifested” what my life would become. The thing is that its not blind manifesting, where you want something but you don’t know if you’ll get that in a negative or profitable way, with Jesus, even if you’re going through tough times (red candles) it’s still overall profitable (up trend) 😂

You're down $8,000, but you're also teaching people to trade online? Good luck with that! Why would you confess that to your viewers. If you were more successful at day trading you should've stuck with that but just stick to doing on days you have available.
How are you losing swing trades? Its way easier and less stressful than day trading. They pay way more than day trades. I only place like 4 or 5 trades a weeks and hold them each between 16 to 36 hours. I also dont have to watch my chart the entire day when swing trading.
The smaller the time frame the smaller the profit and more trades you will have to execute.
