Years back my older brother did nearly the same thing as Samantha, he was out of commission for nearly 4 months. Better luck for Sam, at least a full and speedy recovery to her.

Me and the other half settle down in the evening with a tea and watch your videos. My other half drove tractors when he worked as a stable hand working with racehorses and misses it still after 11yrs retirement.

@@trevorsidley7697 All true Trevor, he’s looking at an electric Polaris now, I recon that’s a far better idea for him, given the amount he uses it.
@@FarmerP Certainly quieter, will it have a Heater? Cost of Change is key and another benefit is no Diesel bugs.
@@trevorsidley7697 Heater will definitely reduce the range but knocking 20 miles of a 60 range off a 3 mile trip shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
the southern end looks far more robust and compact compared to the northen one, i guess thats due to the tractor crossing it a lot more for field access than the other end
The thing is can-am defenders are the most expensive and don’t offer a diesel engine especially considering the farming uk/eu market. Then Polaris once you spec cabs and heaters. Perhaps Corvus or Kubota maybe newer model, but I looked into these atvs for some time and for me personally to get across fields and drive as far as I wanted can’t do that with a road legal atvs. With NFU insurance I was told they’re restricted to mileage from the farm/property. So I purchased a nice 2017 pickup with 50000 miles 1 owner from new for 18k. Completely understand you’re fathers situation Ian. So I’d perhaps suggest asking Kubota if they have updated anything for the 23/24 models. P.s you say you can’t handle little kids but you still have 3/4 little girls 😂
I found NFU insurance for our Gator ridiculous. Have used Rowett in St Austell for both that and my Tractor - much better and talk to a person. Still NFU for Stables etc.

Ian, Does Dad's Kubota have a 12volt plug handy? A good 12v heated car seat cover would give him more heat in most of the right spots. Just a thought!
Well maybe sometimes the devil you know might be better than the devil you don't know with regards to the traxter. I have a similar style of pump to you and I am afraid I too like to keep it in the box with the power cable and air hose all tidy 😢. There are two things I don't like about it though, 1, for some reason the power connector seems to be smaller and I have to use something to jamb it in to the 12 volt power socket ( haven't tried it in another car)) and 2, I have to pump it up to more than I need to allow the air to escape because the screw in connector is stiff to screw in and out but it may be dirty tyre valve threads.
Id rather put it to barn to tbh.
I get put off the new stuff with the electronics. To much to go wrong. See it all the time in racing.
Your dad just needs something that’s like a comfy set of slippers. If it not broke don’t fix it sort of thing,

Mr P I am hearing and a pair and I do hearing aids both of my ears I drive big trucks and they’re loud. There is a back noise turn down in your hearing aids. Be done by the computer. Hearing aid dealer, Can back noise down and you cannot hear the motors loud engines and it does work. I do that to my hearing aids every time I get new ones. I hope you do understand. I’m trying to help you, Mr. P.
