@@lukedavis3408 Gonna agree with that. Seras despite with all of her new abilities, she's pretty much still the same upbeat police girl possessing the most optimistic personality as ever and with the her losing all semblance of fear this only push the positivity rate even further beyond.
Also it wasn't her that put the limiters on, but her ancestors. Also his relationship with Integra has been very different the entire time. To everyone else they are Master and Servant as one would expect but Alucard actually considers her his wife. (At the end of the anime, he calls her "Counttess". That's also why Integra remained a virgin - to keep her blood pure for him.)

Even Crispin Freeman stated that my master chooses integra to be his master because he admires her bravery and strength. There is no romance in this series (except when pip kissed me) . There's family bonding development, but that's it. Also integra has smiled multiple times I don't understand where you got that silly idea from.
I always thought of her awakening as being tied to the fact that the blood she drank was given willingly, & not forcefully. If Alucard is the first of the vampires, then all the vampires are essentially his children, & should have his abilities. But they're still weak fledglings compared to him. The key difference between Seras & all the others, is that they forcibly take human blood, where as Seras only ever fully drank blood when it was willingly given. Plus, it also explains why when she was merely surviving on a few drops of medical blood, it still kept her weak. There's some old vampire lore that speaks on blood taken being weaker than blood given
No - the key difference is that Seras was turned directly by Alucard, while all of the Millennium vampires were created with "samples" taken from the remains of Mina Harkness - Dracula's not-completely-turned former lover. So Millennium vampires are bastardized hybrids, not even close to being true vampires. They were not turned, they are humans with vampiric abilities (most of them only the most basic of abilities)
Well in lore there is something like vampires cant enter home uninvited. Also it make more sense why vampires are stereotypical charmers. As Alucard is and having bisexual vibes are logical (and Seras also exhibit these traits) as he mostly kill and transform only wiling subjects. Even if its technically under hypnosis spell, also maybe that is why he have so much familiars as they were tricked and its not that powerful. As Seras by taking true wiling subject even a love interest done technically the ultimate evil act of "true betrayal". I view the end as Seras is now the most powerful true vampire without any binds and restrictions. Alucard even thou not as powerful in hurting others is basically untouchable. From a dog on a leach to god on a leash.

I assumed that it was because she consumed Pip's soul instead of just blood. That's why she hears his voice in her head, why just blood bags doesn't awaken her and why Alucard can manifest the likes of Rip van Winkle as familiars. I mean, part of the story about how they try and defeat Alucard involves forcing him to expend the souls he has consumed to weaken him, forcing him to consume the souls of all the dead londoners, along with Schrodinger. *It's also possible that the ability to absorb the victims soul is the key difference between Alucard & Seras, and the other vampires. Correct me if I'm wrong on this (been a while since I watched Hellsing), but iirc we don't see any other vampires besides Al and Seras actually absorb souls, they instead just consume blood. It could be that only Alucard and his progeny can actually do this feat, but without at least one soul collected they are just like other vampires, unawakened.

I don't know who the Cheddar priest is but unless you mean the priest at the start of the story (in which case, he's a fake vampire too), that's not a canon character. The only real vampires in Hellsing are Alucard and Seras, there aren't any other.
Alucard explains it in the fight against Luke Valentine. Normal vampires can turn into shadow, regenrate limbs and even summon familiars. Millenium only has artifical vampires, which have none of said powers as they were made by using the corpse of Mina Harker, Alucard's original fledgling but she passed away later on tho her body refused to decay as long as Alucard(Dracular is still alive. Seras starts as a fledgeling vampire, not a true one, so she also doesn't have said powers as well, but when she finally drinks human blood straight from the tap, she gains her full powers and acually because the second most powerful vampire we know off. Before that, she was fed using blood transfusions and by Integra cutting her finger to let her drink from, this only statisfies her hunger, but doesn't awake her true power. And since Pip is the only soul she possesses, Seras can talk to him, just like how Alucard is now stuck with Schrödinger. So her being able to regenrate her lost arms is just a normal thing for normal vampires and normal vampires are rare since Alucard is seemingly the one and only original vampire. Its noteworthy that Seras can't possible beat Alucard, like ever. Since Alucard absorbed Schrödinger and Schrödinger is now the only soul in Alucard's possession (thos being able to recognize himself within Alucard), Schrödinger's power of being "Everywhere and Nowhere" now apply to Alucard. Making him absolutely immortal and omnipresent.
You have it close....but not quite there. The part you got wrong was saying she became a true vampire by drinking human blood. But that is wrong, she actually became a true vampire by drinking Alucard's blood, human blood has nothing to do with it. All she needed was one drop of Alucard's blood to complete the occult pact. She was already a true vampire when she drank Pip's blood, she had just not used her powers out of habit and she had yet to feed on a living person to gain their soul/life force. Everyone sees the imagery of that scene and thinks that is when she became a true vampire....but that scene is meant to showcase her first use of her powers and her commitment, it is why the scene shows the blood around the room rush toward Seras, it is visualizing her using her powers to completely taking in his soul, it isn't her becoming a true vampire, she already was a true vampire.
Alucard also doesn't have any souls now because he had to discard them all to find and discard Schrödingers That's the only way his quantum state stabilised
I have to disagree with Seras not having the basic vampire abilities. Remember when Anderson pierced her with several blessed blades? She did regenerate from that without external help whatsoever, and is able to use 3rd eye in the same episode. Her being directly turned by Alucard himself gave her the basic abilities but on a lower degree.
She survived by drinking transfusion blood and Integra forced Seras to drink her virgin blood to maintain her before consuming Pip. She did have an issue with going feral because she actively chose to not drink blood that even includes the blood of her enemies or targets.
I always assumed it was a psychological issue. Seras lost her arm during one of her lowest moments, where another home was destroyed, another family she was unable to protect, Pip dying and on top of all of that she was being vividly reminded of her other traumatic experiences.
The way a friend of mine explained it to me was that it basically "costs" a certain amount of consumed blood/souls to regenerate harsh wounds, and the only she's consumed so far was Pip. So she wouldn't want to "spend" him.
Alucard choose her because he sensed her potential. That she would be able to stand his equal instead of staying as a servant. Just because a vampire makes a fledgeling doesn't mean that fledgeling can become the top of what a vampire can be. Alucard, as someone who regrets his choice to become a monster and is intensely lonely because of the estrangement he feels from humanity, doesn't seem to desire servants so much as equals. So Seras was him grooming someone to be his companion so he isn't lonely anymore. Seras no doubt could regenerate her arm at any time but chooses not to because of how intimidating her shadow limb is. She may also lack confidence she could control the shadow matter as well without making it physically part of her. No doubt as she ages she will get better at it and no longer rely on such a method.
i don't think it was grooming her to become his equal, otherwise he would have forced her to drink his blood back in badrick with anderson. what alucard sees in her was that as he put it "seras was at the bottom of the witch's cauldron in the depths of hell, but she still refused to give up" which is something he did a long long time ago when he made a deal with the devil. i think seras keeps her mattered arm bc it's a reminder of when she lost faith in herself, and it's a part of pip that will always be with her
You know that’s a really good question as to why Alucard turned Seras into a vampire when say he sensed potential within her. To me, this has to be one of the biggest question in Hellsing. When asked, Alucard would say, “the police girl made the choice for herself”, or “why indeed”, and that was it. Then when talking to Walter he explains about her fighting spirit and willingness to keep fighting. But it’s not just why he turned her, it’s more of what was his personal reason to turn her into a vampire? When looking at both the original series and the OVA when Seras was being held hostage to the vampire priest in Cheddar before Alucard pulls the trigger I would think he might’ve saved her without having to shoot her. Look when Alucard was facing Luke Valentine when he shot off both of his legs with his 13 mil. Jackul, he not only hit the target from a far that was small and running away, he wasn’t even aiming. Also think of the third eye that he told Seras when shooting a vampire on her first mission and later Zorin Blitz. With that he could’ve hit the vampire somewhere in the head with no problem without harming Seras. Or he could’ve made a different approach without being seen and catch his target off guard. Like when facing Tubalcain Alhambra. Now thinkinng back to when Alucard was in the servitude to the Hellsing Organization, it took so long for him to have a vampire alongside him, so why didn’t he make one at the time? Between serving Van Helsing and Arthur Helsing that was not possible. More likely the answer was no. Even after being locked away for twenty years until his release after Integra took over. It was until after that Alucard could do that but it was until that day in Cheddar. It seemed like this was all by chance and Seras was there at the right time and place. As of now everyone has taken a side as to how they view Alucard and Seras together. They see them as a couple, me included. Or only as father and daughter. To be honest that’s a really good question as well, and one that’s still being debated. Now why he chose her, was he looking for just a friend, a child to call his own, a bride he longed for? Sure makes you wonder and still wonder even more. The only thing about all that is, I want everyone to please be respectful of the two pairings and how you view it. No need to bash anyone’s choice, it’s easy to disagree with one or the other, just don’t be harsh on anyone. Now I think Alucard did this because Seras reminded Alucard of Mina. The one he pursued that lead to his capture. She was also the one who drank his blood willingly. The only one to do so in a lifetime. So why I believe that’s the possible answer is because when Alucard was about to disappear he was reflecting his past life of when he was captured. There you see a woman being led away. Though you can’t see her face entirely because of the shadow you can see some features that closely resemble her and Seras. So when Alucard saw Seras as a true vampire it looked like he was seeing Mina again in the true form that hoped to see. I would like to know how Alucard managed to convince Sir Integra to allow Seras to stay with the organization. I even wish Seras would at one point ask Alucard that question.
Seras is actually stronger than Alucard in the end. The reason of this is simple, since alucard's strength was put down with voice activated limiters due to his capricious nature, he couldn't work independently or tap to his strength's well properly. However since Seras was obedient from the start by nature, she wasn't put on any limiters. Additionally Kouta Hirano hinted that blood offered to a vampire out of genuine love would strengthen a vampire exponentially lot more than force drinking from a hundred victims so just by drinking out of Pip Seras gained nearly as much or the same amount Alucard had gathered during all his life. Then we get into the fact that even if Alucard "gave" part of his power to her, he only planted a tiny seed instead into her body, comparable to a virus or a bacteria that would multiply inside her body under suitable circumstances. This I call the vampire gene. So the gene multiplies a lot and in the end it mutates to the point that it becomes Seras' own, but to accelerate the growth speed she would've needed blood. This explains how she became a "true vampire" which means a pure vampiric being with no master that could bring forth more vampires. Only Alucard as the first true vampire has been capable of creating more true vampires. Funny enough, the whole vampire war became to be the fault of Alucard for letting some of his subordinate vampires escape and leaving Mina's remains unguarded. Also most of the intelligent vampires that were not artificial had been produce of a person being bitten by a true vampire (very likely Alucard) and before ingesting blood the first time having intercourse with the opposite gender, resulting in pregnancy (usually male vampire fledgling with a human woman). The vampire genes mixed to be normal in the bloodline which resulted in lesser vampires like the one in Cheddar. The powers however were subjected to ones of a vampire fledgling. And yes, ghouls are possible to make as a fledgling if you leave any amount of blood left in the body of your victim. If sucked dry, the body wouldn't reanimate. Also these lesser vampires could have biological children together, though it would take ages of trying for the very low quality of reproductive cells. Yes, I have read the manga, seen the tv animation, the ova and specials several times. I cannot stop watching haha 😅
Alucard is basically god at the end of the series and satan at the start. Seras is a complete child compared to him and will never be close to his strenght. Don't be a fanboy, lol.
honestly, her arm thing is down to choice. she can completely regen her arm after drinking pip's blood, as well as dissolve her entire body into shadow the same as Alucard...she just chooses to use it the way she does from personal preference that's the way i've always taken it, anyway
For me the decision to keep the shadow matter is more than just tactics. Much like Alucard, Seras has embraced her new reality as a true monster, and she intentionally wears that reality on her sleeve, somewhat literally. Keeping her arm as shadow matter is certainly not a problem tactically as she can handle guns and deliver punches with it just fine, but we see Alucard melt between a human form and full shadow matter repeatedly, so presumably Seras could do the same, repair the arm fully but transform it back into shadow matter at will and as needed. The decision to keep shadow matter in place of her arm permanently is a declaration for all to see that she is no longer human. For those who would do harm to Hellsing or her majesty's subjects it is a warning that whatever monsters they send shall meet a more fearsome beast, and for those who she protects it is a reminder that she is indeed a monster lest they forget and expect her to behave as a human, a mistake even Integra has been known to make previously.
The one thing I really would have loved to see is Sarah's actually get blood from alucard just to see what incredible power up she would know doubtedly gotten

Well the continuation of Hellsing I’ll ever get is the fan fiction called Eternal Hearts. It’s like a series of its own, and it’s also an alternate universe version.

Eternal Hearts focuses on the missions and situations in and around the Hellsing Organization, plus on Alucard and Seras Victoria as a couple. So yes this is an Alucard and Seras pairing fanfic and I’m letting you know this now, whether or not you are in favor of the pairing but I will ask that everyone please respect everyone else’s choice of couple for Hellsing. So the difference in this fanfic is how Seras got involved in Hellsing and how she became a vampire, and a true vampire. Even how Alucard became one is different. There are missions that take place outside of London, as well as outside of England itself. Not all the characters are in Eternal Hearts, just some from the original series. Like you can say that Millennium is no more, doesn’t exist. Also Heinkel, Yumie, the rest of Iscariot’s are either still hanging out at the Vatican or out in the world spreading the gospel. Pip and the Wild Geese are still in the desert, I wouldn’t mind Pip being in this story. Even Incognito is not here, or at least not yet. Even both Pickman, Ferguson, Garrett, and Steadlum from the original are here. Anderson does make a few appearances just not all the time but should later on. But there are new villains to face and new friends to make here as well. Even with the next generations that’ll come up and the new method of vampirism, much of what’ll take place seem unbelievable but it may be probable. So this does have some segments of the original Hellsing series, but I do picture a bit of the OVA later on in the later installments. Also Eternal Hearts has been around since like the late 2000’s, so it’s that old. Now the installments have ratings on what they contain. It’s meant for readers 18-up. There are violence, strong language, even strong sexual content and adult content, nudity, drug use, occult themes, torture, all of the followings are very graphic in description and some of it is pretty strong. I’d say read at your own risk if you choose to read it. But there are some moments of humor that’ll happen later on at one point in each installment. As of now there are eight installments and they have their own titles: Installment 1: Partners Installment 2: Homecoming Installment 3: Twisted Shadows Installment 4: Daughter of Sin Installment 5: Blood of Our Blood Installment 6: Bark at the Moon Installment 7: Kindred Spirits Installment 8: Red Lines Well as of 2021 installments 6, 7, and 8 are down because 6 and 7 need some work while 8 only had one chapter and is at a fresh start. My interpretation of Seras' arm never regrowing was because she was misisng it when her transformation finished. Basically her drinking Pips blood and becoming a full vampire solidly locked what her body would be like from that point on. Her eyes were necessary for her to regenerate, but the shadow stuff was a viable alternative so the regeneration wasnt necessary and just never ocurred.
Weaker? You realize that post-Schrödinger gained all of Schrödinger's abilities right? He now has the ability to teleport anywere in the world in an instant and his immortality was updraged to the point were before he could be killed if someone killed him once for every soul inside of him, now he will always come back so long as someone remembers his existence.
We never acually see Seras during downtime after she gets her shadow matter arm. The few times we saw her after the war where either with Iscariot ore when she assumed Integra was being attacked. So she probably only turns her dark matter arm into a regular human arm when she knows she can relax and there are no dangers. So probably only during her downtime in Hellsing ore when she needs to travel incognito. Altaugh I guess then just wearing a large coat would do too.
Alucard is the first vampire. Seras was turned by him making her the second most powerful vampire in the world, after she actually became a full vampire that is.
Seriously, all these people making lore videos that obviously didn't watch the anime or read the manga.... Seras doesn't become a true vampire "by drinking blood from a human". Seras doesn't resist becoming a vampire because she would have to drink human blood to do so and she doesn't want to hurt humans. Seras does have a bit of difficulty accepting drinking blood in general, but that is because it makes her berserk mode more unhinged and she can't control it yet because she isn't a full vampire and doesn't have her magic powers and mental fortitude. Seras simply needs to accept her role as a vampire and drink Alucard's blood, as he is her maker. That is the only thing that can make her a true vampire. Seras simply doesn't drink Alucard's blood because that would mean she would become his equal, not in power but in status, and he would no longer be her master. Seras was traumatized and then Alucard saved her from the rape and saved her from taking the forever nap. Seras has simply developed some weird daddy issues with Alucard, making Alucard a weird mixture of crush, beloved, and father figure to Seras. Seras simply wants to stay as his fledgling for as long as possible, staying in his shadow close to him, this is what she means by she is not ready when Alucard offers to make her a true vampire. There, I hope I broke it down easily enough, so many people seem to fail to grasp the simplest of concepts from this anime, whether they need to be extrapolated and sorted out, or they are explicitly stated.
seras victoria was weak when not drank the blood after she drank the blood she kinda powerful so be aware of her and i can ask Alucard and seras victoria join my side to win the battle,and integra would join my side too.
I always assumed it was because she refuses to restock her blood sucking supply relying on blood bags. She could regenerate but that would start eating away at Pips soul which was never a problem for Alucard because he doesn’t shy away from keeping his blood stock full
She was able to regenerate from several Holy Bayonet by Father Anderson without external help. So her relying on a soul to heal her wounds is just wrong. He was turned by the OG vampire so she does have the basic characteristics of a vampire.
there is that part where Alucard gets decapitated, and tells Seras to drink his blood to become a "true no-life king"... is that in the first tv series, or the more faithful Ultimate adaptation?
I always thought that she can't regenerate it because it was cut before becoming a true vampire, but you're probably right and she just does it for fun :)
i wouldnt count full vampire seras as strong as alucard in his prime. (comparing her to the end point of alucard where hes weaker doesnt work because hes functionally the same , just minus millions of lives) alucard consistently fought father anderson toa standstill and eventually defeated him, moved massive amounts of blood over miles of city, piloted the carcass of an aircraft carrier by himself , shot faster than the eyes of vampires could track, and broke limbs with brute strength alone. seras's greatest strength feat is lifting a giant aa gun out of the millennium zepplin and firing it. alucard however doesnt have a "brute strength" feat like that unless you count his battle with walter, and most of the destruction was actually caused by walters wires tearing things apart. seras is strong, but alucard also had limiters placed on him. when all 6 are dropped, he became unstoppable to two entire armies thousands strong.
Its not just that. She's sired by a true vampire AND she was given blood willingly, not taken. Shrodringer points his out to Zorin before she dies from "death from excessive grating".
So what I see in the comments seems to be a little confusion on what "first" of the vampires means. It refers to Alucard beeing the strongest, not him beeing the ancestor of all of them. If you think about it for just a moment, the Hellsing Organisation takes custody of his body after Van Helsing "kills" him and revives him with additional powers to make him the strongest ("first") of all vampires, to hunt vampires. Why would they do that if there were no other Vampires around before him. Also it is HEAVILY implied (so far that it is a crucial plot point in character development and motivation) that the lieutnant is about to become a vampire after beeing shot down. A fact that he refuses to accept, instead clinging onto dear life and beeing made into the proverbial and literal ghost in the shell by the doctor. So it would be naive to think that there were no other people before both of them that turned into true vampires. It is to reason that probably Seras and Alucard are the last true vampires to appear in "public". What I also think is that by the end of the series Seras is stronger than Alucard as Alucard in what I understood from the ending is stuck with beeing locked out of his most strongest abilities, namely the consumption of souls to prolong his life in case of a natural death, instead beeing only able to use the powers of schrodinger and some base vampiric abilities. What I always hoped for was a short series about Alucard coming back beeing the full intention of Millenium, because I think they know how to deal with schrodingers kind of "immortality" and just found it easier to wait for Alucard to kill all his lives off himself instead of battling for 30+ years (and probably losing).
i agree it is heavily implied that vampires are a natural occurrence when a human consumes blood given willing. And true vampires do exist at the time because it comes as a surprise to hellsing that virgins werent been turned into vampires. Most other vampires as old as alucard are most likely in hiding or made deals with hellsing for their lives (this is based off the little vampire girl with all the books from the first hellsing anime, not certain if she also appears in the manga cause they skipped alot of content in hellsing ultimate). But there must still be vampire roaming because otherwise the hellsing organisation would not have much purpose but hellsing probably only deals with ones that entire British territory, cause that is implied when they meet the church and the talks they have about borders. Everyone saying there isnt any vampires other then hellsings, but the nazi ones doesnt make sense with how hellsing responds to the nazi ones. Also wouldnt Schroedinger be technically willingly given since it was done with purpose by Schroedinger and not by force 🤔
Alucard had to kill off all but his original vampiric form/soul because shrodinger had in a sense "poisoned" them all. This is actually what the major says "in every age a king will find himself consuming poisoned food/wine" I believe (I'm not 100% sure) that shrodingers purpose was to simply suggest to Alucard that he could lose ... in essence, making him doubt himselves. This is reinforced at the end when Alucard reappears to Integra and says "I am a single vampire now"
This video is almost right . About Seras regeneration of body parts. Seras regenerates only one eye after absorbing Pip because he at the time had only one eye . In manga and Hellsing Ultimate its explained that Alucard and Seras by draining blood from living human and killing him/her in the process absorbs that person whole and becomes his/her master. there is even quote "blood is currency of life" . that is why Alucard is invincible he absorbed so many life's that he cant be killed only after releasing them all and taking form of Dracula Andersson could potentially kill him. Now if we talk about Schrödinger adding his blood to rivers returning to allucard by it nature made Allucard existence uncertain and that made Alucard as master of over 4 million souls uncertain so he had to spend 30 years killing those souls until only Schrodinger is left and that allows him to take control over himself sorry for nitpicking its about one of my most favorite anime's and if i got something wrong sorry again
I agree with her being stronger than Alucard to a point, Alucard's upgrade with schrodinger's powers is stronger, but Alucard has to learn how to use it. Till then Seras has a 30 year advantage on him
Alucard at the end of the story is Immortal, and Omnipresent. He is unkillable, and can be anywhere and everywhere at the same time. He also spent 30 years killing every soul in him while also learning how Schrodinger's powers work. He is effectively a god at the end of the story. No way to kill him, no way to trap him, and no way to stop him.
Alucard is still stronger than Seras. He was still drinking Sera's blood over those 30 years due to the fact feeding on another human would add another human soul to the 3 million+ souls he was removing from himself to negate Schrodinger's ability (its implied Shrodringers soul is still in alucard as he killed all the other souls but 1). The only thing Alucard lost i those 30 years are the vassels he can summon so no more "Release Level Zero" which is fine since Seras would never want or need feed so much to create such a thing when she is perfectly fine with just having the frenchman as her sole vassal.

His old power is useless his new power would be broken, but it'll take time for him to not only figure it out, but implement it. Remember it took removing all the souls he absorbed (other than Schrodingers) to come back to this plane of existence. he's barely even conscious of the fact he has new powers much less used them
@@swimmingmide, How is he learning Schrodinger's power in his own head? he couldn't teleport, if he's immortal how could he exploit the ability to be everywhere? it took him 30 years to return to a normal plane of existence, I don't think other than sheer brute force, he used much else to kill a million souls

Seras: weakest state a vampire can be BUT shes made from the highest most powerful class of vampire... the king. So shes weak as fuck, but only compaired to her true potential Id argue that if she drank at the first Anderson fight she could have killed him there mid diff.... only reason Alucard didnt kill him (until he pulled the nail, that was a complete turning point) was he was too much fun with Anderson and integra hadnt ordered it If either of those stopped Alucard would have just eaten him right off the bat and i fully believe with a power up seras absolutely would have been able to kill pre-nail Anderson .... but that's just my opinion 🤷♂️
It also depends on the lore and if its age or souls consumed that strengthen a vampire cause if its time alucard would still be considerably stronger at the start of the show combared to Seras at the end.
The question posed in the thumbnail is poignant, as it always annoyed me that she didn't just recorporate her arm from the bloodshadow she was manifesting in its place. She's Dracula's literal adoptive daughter - she has the capacity to at that point. Annoying! And her autocannons are not named Hallconnen - I dunno what ingrish tit was responsible for that mistranslation. Kohta Hirano, the author, named them Harkonen and Vladimir, after Baron Vladimir Harkonen, the primary villain from Frank Herbert's "Dune". I'm not sure why - the flying fat-man has nothung to do with 20mm or 30mm autocannons. I suppose he just thought it sounded cool, which makes him a buffoon. Who writes your scripts? Fire him.
I'd agree that Alucard and Seras are of comparable strength at the end of the series, or even Seras likely being stronger by the time of Alucard's reawakening, but I disagree that she's as strong as he was at the start of the series (assuming we're comparing to his full unsealed power). Alucard has reduced himself to one, admittedly old and skilled, truly unkillable soul. Seras is at least two every strong and in sync souls if not more over the last 30 years. If she did take more familiars it would have been somewhat gradual because her appetite is more discerning, likely not feeding on people she dislikes or forcing anyone to become her food. It would stand to reason that if she did gain any more souls they would be particularly strong and strengthen her far more due to the quality and consent of her feedings (using Pip at precedent).
There a few issues with this though most of it is accurate. I don't believe Seras is as powerful as Alucard for a number of reasons. We don't know how much of what Alucard did was his own powers instead of his familiars. Schordinger was pretty hard to kill wear we don't know how hard you've have to hit Alucard to even potentially kill him. Father Anderson didn't think Seras was to strong to attack. He warned his subordinates that she was out of their league. This is right before Anderson with some help blitzes all of Alucard's familiars save the Hound of Baskerville. Following that he attacks Alucard whom he believed was killable now. He's not actually invincible he just racked up extra lives like gamer do. Finally you kinda repeat yourself a lot.
Kinda BS :( Holding on to the Shadow Matter is for Seras the same as a Baby holds on to a Table etc. to do theyr first steps. With more Expirience she should be able to manipulate her Body at will between Human and full or partial Shadow.
Her desire to stay a human had to be sacrificed when she drank a dying humans blood. When she accepted she was no longer human, to her non beating heart, she became truly a vampire.

I just assumed she can't get the arm back fully because she doesn't have alucards ability to basically burn through souls for a free heal Alucards ability to actually regenerate is outclassed by other regenerators in the series in terms of speed and functionality but he makes up for it in being able to recover from quite literally anything as long as he has eaten souls to use as a price to restore his body beyond death Our police girl hasn't been shown to have the same gift despite the rest of her base vampire kit being a supposed upgrade so im guessing a completely gone arm just cant be fully recovered with her version of the regeneration,otherwise she would've just fully regened after becoming a full vamp
That's not it, though. You can clearly see in the epilogue that she did regenerate her arm when all was over. (EDIT: Actually, nevermind, it's not obvious. I re-watched the epilogue again, and while you can see the shape of her arm, it is always in the dark and you still can see the Shadow Arm around it like an aura. So... not as clear as I thought, but my other points stand.) She could do anything she pleased with her shadow arm, so it makes no sense she could not simply re-form it into the shape of her normal arm. Alucard even tells us himself in his speech to Luke Valentine that regenerating their limbs, having familiars (which is achieved through killing and drinking the blood of your enemies) and so on are abilities a real vampire - as in, a non-artificial, Freak Millenium vampire - is supposed to have. Seras being his childe, she would have said abilities as well. He is actively disappointed and annoyed when Luke turns out not to have any such powers, so he obviously would not refrain from ensuring that Seras has them. There is a better explanation. Alucard says he can assume any form he pleases and his base, humanlike form is just the one he likes to use the most, he is not tied to it nor restricted to it; he is a monster, and he embraces that. For most of the series, Seras clings to her humanity desperately, trying to remain as human as possible, but when she drinks Pip's blood, she fully becomes what she is meant to be and stops caring about maintaining the appearance of humanity. Basically... she doesn't fail to regenerate her arm because she cannot do so. She doesn't regenerate it because she no longer cares.

If anything, Vlad the Impaler is not even his own: it's just what he looked like when he became a vampire, it's no longer who he 'truly' is. Seras lost her arm before she became full-fledged thats the reason it didnt regenerate it... her eyes were only scared not removed which allowed them to regenerate... if you look at Alucard when he drank blood he did it while in tact which goes hand and hand with other vampire storys correct ne if im wrong but i have yet seen one lost a body part or something and change and have that same body part regenerate in most cases they were already a vampire
Gotta disagree with the last part. Seras is never as strong as Alucard, not even close. Remember that Hellsing has to put several level of restriction on Alucard's powers, and that same restriction was never placed on EoS Seras.
The anime/manga isn't that deep dude. Anno made it because he thought it was cool and wanted to draw cool and sexy characters. Those are his words. He doesn't care about his characters and provides little to no depth to them. But, yes. She was a vampire after she was bitten. That's how it works. She was holding onto her humanity which served as a crutch. The show literally spells it out for you.
TLDR, Alucard's "Shadow matter" is locked behind several levels of an occult alchemic seal inscribed over his coffin. By the end of the series Seras had the same basic set of tools as Alucard, but centuries less experience, also she hasn't let Integra seal her behind several levels of power limiters,

Also his relationship with Integra has been very different the entire time. To everyone else they are Master and Servant as one would expect but Alucard actually considers her his wife.
(At the end of the anime, he calls her "Counttess". That's also why Integra remained a virgin - to keep her blood pure for him.)

Even Crispin Freeman stated that my master chooses integra to be his master because he admires her bravery and strength. There is no romance in this series (except when pip kissed me) . There's family bonding development, but that's it. Also integra has smiled multiple times I don't understand where you got that silly idea from.
I always thought of her awakening as being tied to the fact that the blood she drank was given willingly, & not forcefully. If Alucard is the first of the vampires, then all the vampires are essentially his children, & should have his abilities. But they're still weak fledglings compared to him. The key difference between Seras & all the others, is that they forcibly take human blood, where as Seras only ever fully drank blood when it was willingly given. Plus, it also explains why when she was merely surviving on a few drops of medical blood, it still kept her weak. No - the key difference is that Seras was turned directly by Alucard, while all of the Millennium vampires were created with "samples" taken from the remains of Mina Harkness - Dracula's not-completely-turned former lover. So Millennium vampires are bastardized hybrids, not even close to being true vampires. They were not turned, they are humans with vampiric abilities (most of them only the most basic of abilities)
Well in lore there is something like vampires cant enter home uninvited. Also it make more sense why vampires are stereotypical charmers. As Alucard is and having bisexual vibes are logical (and Seras also exhibit these traits) as he mostly kill and transform only wiling subjects. Even if its technically under hypnosis spell, also maybe that is why he have so much familiars as they were tricked and its not that powerful. As Seras by taking true wiling subject even a love interest done technically the ultimate evil act of "true betrayal".
I view the end as Seras is now the most powerful true vampire without any binds and restrictions. Alucard even thou not as powerful in hurting others is basically untouchable. From a dog on a leach to god on a leash.

I assumed that it was because she consumed Pip's soul instead of just blood. That's why she hears his voice in her head, why just blood bags doesn't awaken her and why Alucard can manifest the likes of Rip van Winkle as familiars. I mean, part of the story about how they try and defeat Alucard involves forcing him to expend the souls he has consumed to weaken him, forcing him to consume the souls of all the dead londoners, along with Schrodinger.
*It's also possible that the ability to absorb the victims soul is the key difference between Alucard & Seras, and the other vampires. Correct me if I'm wrong on this (been a while since I watched Hellsing), but iirc we don't see any other vampires besides Al and Seras actually absorb souls, they instead just consume blood. It could be that only Alucard and his progeny can actually do this feat, but without at least one soul collected they are just like other vampires, unawakened.

I don't know who the Cheddar priest is but unless you mean the priest at the start of the story (in which case, he's a fake vampire too), that's not a canon character. The only real vampires in Hellsing are Alucard and Seras, there aren't any other.
Alucard explains it in the fight against Luke Valentine. Normal vampires can turn into shadow, regenrate limbs and even summon familiars.
Millenium only has artifical vampires, which have none of said powers as they were made by using the corpse of Mina Harker, Alucard's original fledgling but she passed away later on tho her body refused to decay as long as Alucard(Dracular is still alive.
Seras starts as a fledgeling vampire, not a true one, so she also doesn't have said powers as well, but when she finally drinks human blood straight from the tap, she gains her full powers and acually because the second most powerful vampire we know off.
Before that, she was fed using blood transfusions and by Integra cutting her finger to let her drink from, this only statisfies her hunger, but doesn't awake her true power.
And since Pip is the only soul she possesses, Seras can talk to him, just like how Alucard is now stuck with Schrödinger.
So her being able to regenrate her lost arms is just a normal thing for normal vampires and normal vampires are rare since Alucard is seemingly the one and only original vampire.
Its noteworthy that Seras can't possible beat Alucard, like ever. Since Alucard absorbed Schrödinger and Schrödinger is now the only soul in Alucard's possession (thos being able to recognize himself within Alucard), Schrödinger's power of being "Everywhere and Nowhere" now apply to Alucard.
Making him absolutely immortal and omnipresent.

But that is wrong, she actually became a true vampire by drinking Alucard's blood, human blood has nothing to do with it.
All she needed was one drop of Alucard's blood to complete the occult pact.
She was already a true vampire when she drank Pip's blood, she had just not used her powers out of habit and she had yet to feed on a living person to gain their soul/life force.
Everyone sees the imagery of that scene and thinks that is when she became a true vampire....but that scene is meant to showcase her first use of her powers and her commitment, it is why the scene shows the blood around the room rush toward Seras, it is visualizing her using her powers to completely taking in his soul, it isn't her becoming a true vampire, she already was a true vampire.
Alucard also doesn't have any souls now because he had to discard them all to find and discard Schrödingers

I have to disagree with Seras not having the basic vampire abilities. Remember when Anderson pierced her with several blessed blades? She did regenerate from that without external help whatsoever, and is able to use 3rd eye in the same episode.
Her being directly turned by Alucard himself gave her the basic abilities but on a lower degree.
She survived by drinking transfusion blood and Integra forced Seras to drink her virgin blood to maintain her before consuming Pip. She did have an issue with going feral because she actively chose to not drink blood that even includes the blood of her enemies or targets.
I always assumed it was a psychological issue. Seras lost her arm during one of her lowest moments, where another home was destroyed, another family she was unable to protect, Pip dying and on top of all of that she was being vividly reminded of her other traumatic experiences.
The way a friend of mine explained it to me was that it basically "costs" a certain amount of consumed blood/souls to regenerate harsh wounds, and the only she's consumed so far was Pip. So she wouldn't want to "spend" him.
Alucard is able to regenerate wounds in the Walter fight after Beast of Heaven Anderson releases all of Alucard's trapped souls.

Alucard choose her because he sensed her potential. That she would be able to stand his equal instead of staying as a servant. Just because a vampire makes a fledgeling doesn't mean that fledgeling can become the top of what a vampire can be. Alucard, as someone who regrets his choice to become a monster and is intensely lonely because of the estrangement he feels from humanity, doesn't seem to desire servants so much as equals. So Seras was him grooming someone to be his companion so he isn't lonely anymore.
Seras no doubt could regenerate her arm at any time but chooses not to because of how intimidating her shadow limb is. She may also lack confidence she could control the shadow matter as well without making it physically part of her. No doubt as she ages she will get better at it and no longer rely on such a method.
That's probably the best interpretation I've read so far.

You know that’s a really good question as to why Alucard turned Seras into a vampire when say he sensed potential within her. To me, this has to be one of the biggest question in Hellsing. When asked, Alucard would say, “the police girl made the choice for herself”, or “why indeed”, and that was it. Then when talking to Walter he explains about her fighting spirit and willingness to keep fighting. But it’s not just why he turned her, it’s more of what was his personal reason to turn her into a vampire? When looking at both the original series and the OVA when Seras was being held hostage to the vampire priest in Cheddar before Alucard pulls the trigger I would think he might’ve saved her without having to shoot her. Look when Alucard was facing Luke Valentine when he shot off both of his legs with his 13 mil. Jackul, he not only hit the target from a far that was small and running away, he wasn’t even aiming. Also think of the third eye that he told Seras when shooting a vampire on her first mission and later Zorin Blitz. With that he could’ve hit the vampire somewhere in the head with no problem without harming Seras. Or he could’ve made a different approach without being seen and catch his target off guard. Like when facing Tubalcain Alhambra. Now thinkinng back to when Alucard was in the servitude to the Hellsing Organization, it took so long for him to have a vampire alongside him, so why didn’t he make one at the time? Between serving Van Helsing and Arthur Helsing that was not possible. More likely the answer was no. Even after being locked away for twenty years until his release after Integra took over. It was until after that Alucard could do that but it was until that day in Cheddar. It seemed like this was all by chance and Seras was there at the right time and place. As of now everyone has taken a side as to how they view Alucard and Seras together. They see them as a couple, me included. Or only as father and daughter. To be honest that’s a really good question as well, and one that’s still being debated. Now why he chose her, was he looking for just a friend, a child to call his own, a bride he longed for? Sure makes you wonder and still wonder even more. The only thing about all that is, I want everyone to please be respectful of the two pairings and how you view it. No need to bash anyone’s choice, it’s easy to disagree with one or the other, just don’t be harsh on anyone. Now I think Alucard did this because Seras reminded Alucard of Mina. The one he pursued that lead to his capture. She was also the one who drank his blood willingly. The only one to do so in a lifetime. So why I believe that’s the possible answer is because when Alucard was about to disappear he was reflecting his past life of when he was captured. There you see a woman being led away. Though you can’t see her face entirely because of the shadow you can see some features that closely resemble her and Seras. So when Alucard saw Seras as a true vampire it looked like he was seeing Mina again in the true form that hoped to see. I would like to know how Alucard managed to convince Sir Integra to allow Seras to stay with the organization. I even wish Seras would at one point ask Alucard that question.
Seras is actually stronger than Alucard in the end. The reason of this is simple, since alucard's strength was put down with voice activated limiters due to his capricious nature, he couldn't work independently or tap to his strength's well properly. However since Seras was obedient from the start by nature, she wasn't put on any limiters. Additionally Kouta Hirano hinted that blood offered to a vampire out of genuine love would strengthen a vampire exponentially lot more than force drinking from a hundred victims so just by drinking out of Pip Seras gained nearly as much or the same amount Alucard had gathered during all his life.
Then we get into the fact that even if Alucard "gave" part of his power to her, he only planted a tiny seed instead into her body, comparable to a virus or a bacteria that would multiply inside her body under suitable circumstances. This I call the vampire gene. So the gene multiplies a lot and in the end it mutates to the point that it becomes Seras' own, but to accelerate the growth speed she would've needed blood. This explains how she became a "true vampire" which means a pure vampiric being with no master that could bring forth more vampires. Only Alucard as the first true vampire has been capable of creating more true vampires. Funny enough, the whole vampire war became to be the fault of Alucard for letting some of his subordinate vampires escape and leaving Mina's remains unguarded.
Also most of the intelligent vampires that were not artificial had been produce of a person being bitten by a true vampire (very likely Alucard) and before ingesting blood the first time having intercourse with the opposite gender, resulting in pregnancy (usually male vampire fledgling with a human woman). The vampire genes mixed to be normal in the bloodline which resulted in lesser vampires like the one in Cheddar. The powers however were subjected to ones of a vampire fledgling. And yes, ghouls are possible to make as a fledgling if you leave any amount of blood left in the body of your victim. If sucked dry, the body wouldn't reanimate. Also these lesser vampires could have biological children together, though it would take ages of trying for the very low quality of reproductive cells.

For me the decision to keep the shadow matter is more than just tactics. Much like Alucard, Seras has embraced her new reality as a true monster, and she intentionally wears that reality on her sleeve, somewhat literally. Keeping her arm as shadow matter is certainly not a problem tactically as she can handle guns and deliver punches with it just fine, but we see Alucard melt between a human form and full shadow matter repeatedly, so presumably Seras could do the same, repair the arm fully but transform it back into shadow matter at will and as needed. The decision to keep shadow matter in place of her arm permanently is a declaration for all to see that she is no longer human. For those who would do harm to Hellsing or her majesty's subjects it is a warning that whatever monsters they send shall meet a more fearsome beast, and for those who she protects it is a reminder that she is indeed a monster lest they forget and expect her to behave as a human, a mistake even Integra has been known to make previously.

Well the continuation of Hellsing I’ll ever get is the fan fiction called Eternal Hearts. It’s like a series of its own, and it’s also an alternate universe version.

Eternal Hearts focuses on the missions and situations in and around the Hellsing Organization, plus on Alucard and Seras Victoria as a couple. So yes this is an Alucard and Seras pairing fanfic and I’m letting you know this now, whether or not you are in favor of the pairing but I will ask that everyone please respect everyone else’s choice of couple for Hellsing. So the difference in this fanfic is how Seras got involved in Hellsing and how she became a vampire, and a true vampire. Even how Alucard became one is different. There are missions that take place outside of London, as well as outside of England itself. Not all the characters are in Eternal Hearts, just some from the original series. Like you can say that Millennium is no more, doesn’t exist. Also Heinkel, Yumie, the rest of Iscariot’s are either still hanging out at the Vatican or out in the world spreading the gospel. Pip and the Wild Geese are still in the desert, I wouldn’t mind Pip being in this story. Even Incognito is not here, or at least not yet. Even both Pickman, Ferguson, Garrett, and Steadlum from the original are here. Anderson does make a few appearances just not all the time but should later on. But there are new villains to face and new friends to make here as well. Even with the next generations that’ll come up and the new method of vampirism, much of what’ll take place seem unbelievable but it may be probable. So this does have some segments of the original Hellsing series, but I do picture a bit of the OVA later on in the later installments. Also Eternal Hearts has been around since like the late 2000’s, so it’s that old. Now the installments have ratings on what they contain. It’s meant for readers 18-up. There are violence, strong language, even strong sexual content and adult content, nudity, drug use, occult themes, torture, all of the followings are very graphic in description and some of it is pretty strong. I’d say read at your own risk if you choose to read it. But there are some moments of humor that’ll happen later on at one point in each installment. As of now there are eight installments and they have their own titles:

My interpretation of Seras' arm never regrowing was because she was misisng it when her transformation finished. Basically her drinking Pips blood and becoming a full vampire solidly locked what her body would be like from that point on. Her eyes were necessary for her to regenerate, but the shadow stuff was a viable alternative so the regeneration wasnt necessary and just never ocurred.
Weaker? You realize that post-Schrödinger gained all of Schrödinger's abilities right? He now has the ability to teleport anywere in the world in an instant and his immortality was updraged to the point were before he could be killed if someone killed him once for every soul inside of him, now he will always come back so long as someone remembers his existence.

We never acually see Seras during downtime after she gets her shadow matter arm. The few times we saw her after the war where either with Iscariot ore when she assumed Integra was being attacked. So she probably only turns her dark matter arm into a regular human arm when she knows she can relax and there are no dangers. So probably only during her downtime in Hellsing ore when she needs to travel incognito. Altaugh I guess then just wearing a large coat would do too.

Seras doesn't become a true vampire "by drinking blood from a human".
Seras doesn't resist becoming a vampire because she would have to drink human blood to do so and she doesn't want to hurt humans.
Seras does have a bit of difficulty accepting drinking blood in general, but that is because it makes her berserk mode more unhinged and she can't control it yet because she isn't a full vampire and doesn't have her magic powers and mental fortitude.
Seras simply needs to accept her role as a vampire and drink Alucard's blood, as he is her maker. That is the only thing that can make her a true vampire.
Seras simply doesn't drink Alucard's blood because that would mean she would become his equal, not in power but in status, and he would no longer be her master.
Seras was traumatized and then Alucard saved her from the rape and saved her from taking the forever nap.
Seras has simply developed some weird daddy issues with Alucard, making Alucard a weird mixture of crush, beloved, and father figure to Seras.

I always assumed it was because she refuses to restock her blood sucking supply relying on blood bags. She could regenerate but that would start eating away at Pips soul which was never a problem for Alucard because he doesn’t shy away from keeping his blood stock full
She was able to regenerate from several Holy Bayonet by Father Anderson without external help. So her relying on a soul to heal her wounds is just wrong. He was turned by the OG vampire so she does have the basic characteristics of a vampire.

i wouldnt count full vampire seras as strong as alucard in his prime. (comparing her to the end point of alucard where hes weaker doesnt work because hes functionally the same , just minus millions of lives) alucard consistently fought father anderson toa standstill and eventually defeated him, moved massive amounts of blood over miles of city, piloted the carcass of an aircraft carrier by himself , shot faster than the eyes of vampires could track, and broke limbs with brute strength alone. seras's greatest strength feat is lifting a giant aa gun out of the millennium zepplin and firing it. alucard however doesnt have a "brute strength" feat like that unless you count his battle with walter, and most of the destruction was actually caused by walters wires tearing things apart. seras is strong, but alucard also had limiters placed on him. when all 6 are dropped, he became unstoppable to two entire armies thousands strong.

Its not just that. She's sired by a true vampire AND she was given blood willingly, not taken. Shrodringer points his out to Zorin before she dies from "death from excessive grating".
So what I see in the comments seems to be a little confusion on what "first" of the vampires means. It refers to Alucard beeing the strongest, not him beeing the ancestor of all of them. If you think about it for just a moment, the Hellsing Organisation takes custody of his body after Van Helsing "kills" him and revives him with additional powers to make him the strongest ("first") of all vampires, to hunt vampires. Why would they do that if there were no other Vampires around before him. Also it is HEAVILY implied (so far that it is a crucial plot point in character development and motivation) that the lieutnant is about to become a vampire after beeing shot down. A fact that he refuses to accept, instead clinging onto dear life and beeing made into the proverbial and literal ghost in the shell by the doctor. So it would be naive to think that there were no other people before both of them that turned into true vampires. It is to reason that probably Seras and Alucard are the last true vampires to appear in "public".
What I also think is that by the end of the series Seras is stronger than Alucard as Alucard in what I understood from the ending is stuck with beeing locked out of his most strongest abilities, namely the consumption of souls to prolong his life in case of a natural death, instead beeing only able to use the powers of schrodinger and some base vampiric abilities.
What I always hoped for was a short series about Alucard coming back beeing the full intention of Millenium, because I think they know how to deal with schrodingers kind of "immortality" and just found it easier to wait for Alucard to kill all his lives off himself instead of battling for 30+ years (and probably losing).
i agree it is heavily implied that vampires are a natural occurrence when a human consumes blood given willing. And true vampires do exist at the time because it comes as a surprise to hellsing that virgins werent been turned into vampires.
Most other vampires as old as alucard are most likely in hiding or made deals with hellsing for their lives (this is based off the little vampire girl with all the books from the first hellsing anime, not certain if she also appears in the manga cause they skipped alot of content in hellsing ultimate).
But there must still be vampire roaming because otherwise the hellsing organisation would not have much purpose but hellsing probably only deals with ones that entire British territory, cause that is implied when they meet the church and the talks they have about borders.

Alucard had to kill off all but his original vampiric form/soul because shrodinger had in a sense "poisoned" them all. This is actually what the major says "in every age a king will find himself consuming poisoned food/wine" I believe (I'm not 100% sure) that shrodingers purpose was to simply suggest to Alucard that he could lose ... in essence, making him doubt himselves. This is reinforced at the end when Alucard reappears to Integra and says "I am a single vampire now"
This video is almost right . About Seras regeneration of body parts. Seras regenerates only one eye after absorbing Pip because he at the time had only one eye . In manga and Hellsing Ultimate its explained that Alucard and Seras by draining blood from living human and killing him/her in the process absorbs that person whole and becomes his/her master. there is even quote "blood is currency of life" . that is why Alucard is invincible he absorbed so many life's that he cant be killed only after releasing them all and taking form of Dracula Andersson could potentially kill him.
Now if we talk about Schrödinger adding his blood to rivers returning to allucard by it nature made Allucard existence uncertain and that made Alucard as master of over 4 million souls uncertain so he had to spend 30 years killing those souls until only Schrodinger is left and that allows him to take control over himself

I agree with her being stronger than Alucard to a point, Alucard's upgrade with schrodinger's powers is stronger, but Alucard has to learn how to use it. Till then Seras has a 30 year advantage on him
Alucard at the end of the story is Immortal, and Omnipresent. He is unkillable, and can be anywhere and everywhere at the same time. He also spent 30 years killing every soul in him while also learning how Schrodinger's powers work. He is effectively a god at the end of the story. No way to kill him, no way to trap him, and no way to stop him.
Alucard is still stronger than Seras. He was still drinking Sera's blood over those 30 years due to the fact feeding on another human would add another human soul to the 3 million+ souls he was removing from himself to negate Schrodinger's ability (its implied Shrodringers soul is still in alucard as he killed all the other souls but 1).
The only thing Alucard lost i those 30 years are the vassels he can summon so no more "Release Level Zero" which is fine since Seras would never want or need feed so much to create such a thing when she is perfectly fine with just having the frenchman as her sole vassal.

His old power is useless his new power would be broken, but it'll take time for him to not only figure it out, but implement it. Remember it took removing all the souls he absorbed (other than Schrodingers) to come back to this plane of existence. he's barely even conscious of the fact he has new powers much less used them

More durable? debatable because is was already practically invulnerable But as with speed, being everywhere and nowhere with a mere thought, you'd never be sure to get rid of him. In a sense, he's far more broken than ever, But he has to learn to use it

I'd agree that Alucard and Seras are of comparable strength at the end of the series, or even Seras likely being stronger by the time of Alucard's reawakening, but I disagree that she's as strong as he was at the start of the series (assuming we're comparing to his full unsealed power). Alucard has reduced himself to one, admittedly old and skilled, truly unkillable soul. Seras is at least two every strong and in sync souls if not more over the last 30 years. If she did take more familiars it would have been somewhat gradual because her appetite is more discerning, likely not feeding on people she dislikes or forcing anyone to become her food. It would stand to reason that if she did gain any more souls they would be particularly strong and strengthen her far more due to the quality and consent of her feedings (using Pip at precedent).

There a few issues with this though most of it is accurate. I don't believe Seras is as powerful as Alucard for a number of reasons. We don't know how much of what Alucard did was his own powers instead of his familiars.
Schordinger was pretty hard to kill wear we don't know how hard you've have to hit Alucard to even potentially kill him.
Father Anderson didn't think Seras was to strong to attack. He warned his subordinates that she was out of their league. This is right before Anderson with some help blitzes all of Alucard's familiars save the Hound of Baskerville. Following that he attacks Alucard whom he believed was killable now. He's not actually invincible he just racked up extra lives like gamer do.

Alucards ability to actually regenerate is outclassed by other regenerators in the series in terms of speed and functionality but he makes up for it in being able to recover from quite literally anything as long as he has eaten souls to use as a price to restore his body beyond death
Our police girl hasn't been shown to have the same gift despite the rest of her base vampire kit being a supposed upgrade so im guessing a completely gone arm just cant be fully recovered with her version of the regeneration,otherwise she would've just fully regened after becoming a full vamp
That's not it, though. You can clearly see in the epilogue that she did regenerate her arm when all was over. (EDIT: Actually, nevermind, it's not obvious. I re-watched the epilogue again, and while you can see the shape of her arm, it is always in the dark and you still can see the Shadow Arm around it like an aura. So... not as clear as I thought, but my other points stand.) She could do anything she pleased with her shadow arm, so it makes no sense she could not simply re-form it into the shape of her normal arm.
Alucard even tells us himself in his speech to Luke Valentine that regenerating their limbs, having familiars (which is achieved through killing and drinking the blood of your enemies) and so on are abilities a real vampire - as in, a non-artificial, Freak Millenium vampire - is supposed to have. Seras being his childe, she would have said abilities as well. He is actively disappointed and annoyed when Luke turns out not to have any such powers, so he obviously would not refrain from ensuring that Seras has them.
There is a better explanation. Alucard says he can assume any form he pleases and his base, humanlike form is just the one he likes to use the most, he is not tied to it nor restricted to it; he is a monster, and he embraces that. For most of the series, Seras clings to her humanity desperately, trying to remain as human as possible, but when she drinks Pip's blood, she fully becomes what she is meant to be and stops caring about maintaining the appearance of humanity.
Basically... she doesn't fail to regenerate her arm because she cannot do so. She doesn't regenerate it because she no longer cares.

The anime/manga isn't that deep dude. Anno made it because he thought it was cool and wanted to draw cool and sexy characters. Those are his words. He doesn't care about his characters and provides little to no depth to them.
