Chip Foose went to Dos Pueblos High School here in Goleta. When he was a student there he took a VW bug, cut the roof off and fabricated a huge DP Chargers football helmet to fit over it, It's still in use and is present at all the games. Spectacular 56 BTW.

You've never had a custom car built. I've been thru 4 different types of hood hinges from 4 different manufacturers. A few thousand dollars later, the hood finally stays up.
love the tri-fives..my fave muscle car...but this 56 is kind of a hot mess..the angle of the windshield is really lame looking and looks totally out of place...this car is a perfect example of just because you can..doesn't neccesarily mean you should...
Oh no, no, no. Don't change the windshield at least. The car can no longer be identified from what it originally was. Just too radical for me, especially being a ragtop.
I dunno, normally I think Foose does a good redesign of most cars, but for starting with a 2 dr sedan, this looks like a failure. A 56 gasser would've looked a lot meaner as a design tangent than this. I have yet to see a shoebox with it's curve windshield replaced, that looks better than factory.
I didnt say that Adam Corolla isnt funny, but anyone who doesnt think that Titus is funny should watch Norman Rockwell is Bleeding or Love is Evol, or listn to Fifth annual End of the world tour, and their minds is guarranteed to change
