I wish I could articulate how much Bob's music means to me. Saying it's the soundtrack of my youth doesn't quite do it. He's been with me thru all my years. Bless you, sir, you have soothed my soul thru decades,

Bob, Alto Reed with Bob since 1972, Chris Campbell, with Bob since 1968, and the others that were in Bob's bands in the 60's and 70's until he finally hit big mid 70's, they really did live on the road out of station wagons doing 250 shows a year. Believe me, they more than paid their dues to make it.
I am so fortunate to have seen Robert Clark Seger in concert four times. R.I.P. Alto Reed.

Thank you Bob, Alto and the rest of the band. The sound of my youth (1970’s).
Fortunate enough to see them many times in concert. Back in mid 70's to 80's. They truly give their all!
♥️👍♥️
Saxophonist Alto Reed has been with Seger for 48 years. Now, that's dedication.
RIP Alto and thank you
i love hearing the audience singing along, i can't think of any higher praise, for an entertainer, then to hear thousands singing a song he wrote
Have seen him twice. Awesome live.

Is that Don Brewer from Grand Funk Railroad on the drums?
Can anyone tell me, what is it with him keeping every other beat with his left hand....?Just his own way of keeping time or something more unusual?
RIP Alto
