- Converted from a hand wash to an express, Googie Express was the result of the city of Whittier's decision to preserve a local architectural landmark. Sonny's intends to use the site as their showroom for the west coast. As such, the site uses Diamond Shine chemicals, including the Fusion process. My car was the second one to go through the tunnel after they opened to the public and was used for testing.
The first video was taken during the grand opening, after most equipment was dialed in. The second video was taken during testing, and not all equipment and chemistry was dialed in.
Great video!!!
My question is. If the first car was really dirty doesn't the bristles or brushes hold some of the dirt and just scratch it into the next car?
The brushes are rinsed with each rotation and (as they use foam) do not hold dirt.
@@SFCarWashChannel ah, ok. Thanks!
How did you get in to the wash and what gear are you in
5:28 The brushes are not working. What happened?
The second video was taken during testing, and their first set of wraps had a hydraulic issue.
i love how the nozzles on those mammoth moves
I'm interested in opening a car wash using that system here in the Los Angeles area but have no idea who the company is that supplies or puts this together, do you know?
I put the Sonny's equipment in this wash. Call me anytime 505-699-8303.
