Excellent question: So the Polaris KPI is the "focal point" at any given time when it comes to "fine-tuning the machine" (that is your business). It can be counterproductive to make improving all of our KPI's a priority at the same time (for example revenue and profit margin). That's why we pick one area to focus on at any given point in time, so we know what to prioritize. Now the OKR's are more project based, like building new things. Oftentimes the Polaris KPI is also an objective in our Quarterly / Yearly OKR's, but not always (depends on the nature of the Polaris KPI). I hope this makes sense!
