A lot of ppl thought Burrow had a historical season watch come next for Myles Brennan kid had star powerdom accurate af an just a leader an holds player accountable I can’t wait to see him fling it
Footwork and follow through look great. He will have a whole offseason with the first team to get ready. A good year next year and then a strong run his senior year. Great work on video
Love your vids man! You’ve given us some great insight that other you tubers fail to point out in their videos. Your Justin Jefferson analyst definitely taught me something. One more, Brennen is actually from New Orleans and his family are extremely close with the Mannings. He just another Hurricane Katrina kid that moved, except his family has loads of $$$$
You hit on it at the 4 min mark, Murf. Kid's got a bazooka, just a little concern among LSU fans we've had since his true frosh year is his ability to modulate his throws a bit. Take a bit off when needed. Cause he seems to have only 1 arm speed most of the time: "see if I can put a hole through the WR". :) Thanks for the analysis as always.
RGSRinc I think more game time will allow him to slow his throws down a bit. But yea I agree if you look at his stats he didn’t play bad at all for the 30 minutes he saw the field last season.
I'd be surprised if they won 2 in a row. The Tigers have lost so much already and I just can't see a way to overcome all that. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I just can't see it.
Great breakdown of Myles. I knew he had a cannon. Glad to see he is putting on more weight. I hope he gets the Qb position this year. I expect big things with him and all the weapons around.
In many way, except for the release, he looks just like Burrow. Set up, balance, foot positions, etc. Well know about his accuracy once he gets going next year. If he wins he stays in. He's certainly earned it.
I know this isn’t what the video is about, but watching Emery Jr. drop that ball reminded me. Did you hear that he was legally blind in one eye? Just had LASIK done to fix it. Scary to think he was as good as he was with one eye. Also I’ve been tellin people. Brennan is going to surprise some people that don’t know lol. Obviously don’t think he is gonna throw 60 tds and 5700 yards. But I think he will probably be around 3500+. I think LSU offense is still gonna be deadly.
Brennan will be a beast. He have been there with Brady and Joe. Have a strong arm and can run with the ball. Been following Brennan since he arrived at LSU.
Another great analysis. I'm sure with some game experience, Myles will be able to fix the little things he needs to work on. He has a huge opportunity to make bank in the NFL. $100 million dollar targets is extremely accurate. LSU always had some great receivers. Finally being able to utilize all of their receivers will attract a lot more receivers knowing that they'll be able to shine early, and will become WRU. With Max Johnson coming in, perhaps start attracting more high caliber QBs, I have confidence LSU will be contenders for a long time. It's funny to hear people say that LSU is one and done. I hope they keep thinking that too. Keep doing what you're doing. Love it!
Cant stare down receivers against the first team in SEC play. That's my only knock on Brennan. On the 2 RB option plays, he never looked right, even though he had an out/drag open.
He also looked off the safety's in a previous play so maybe he knew he had that throw no matter what. The linebacker was lined up to the outside and there was no one in the middle. He will be ready come game time. And now we have Pelini back, get ready for some monster defense too.
I look forward to seeing Brennan next season, I think he'll do great things. Main thing I think he needs to work on is taking a little heat off the ball and put some air under it, not every throw needs to be a dart. I do get some Mahomes vibes with changing the arm angles though, which is exciting.
Love your vids, keep them coming. I think Myles Brennan can be close to / if not just as good as Burrow. The guy is unbelievably accurate, has an absolute cannon for an arm, and people don't really know this about him but mans got wheels too. He's gonna do real good with the weapons he's got around him.
Eye Opening technique and physical maturity with Myles Brennan. Just think come Spring then fall, with more reps and Tommy Moffit working him. Nice work! I learn so much about the technique of this great game from all of your shows! Hats off!! Worked for Rivals? I know you played football somewhere.
To reply to all - one thing Murph pointed out was the throwing motion. If you have a side throwing motion, it appears to me, that the QB gets a quick release and the ball travels on a straight line. That appears to have a downside to it as defenders can pick it off. But you can tell Brennan's lower body is really strong. He has matured and Moffit did his job. Murph pointed to one play however where Brennan's throwing motion changed to where Brennan threw with a more traditional throwing motion, where he brings the ball and elbow higher - which seems necessary to enable the ball to travel higher in the air with more arc, so if accurately placed the ball comes over the top and down out of reach by the DB and into the hands of the WR. That comes with plain talent and being accurate. Joe - well he was borne with that. Like a great musician. As the timing must be just right to allow the WR to not have to break stride. Also the hangtime is more and the WR can adjust to the ball. To throw the ball with up and over the top motion while being pinpoint accurate WHILE the QB is running like Elway, is what made Burrow great. You cannot defend those passes or teach that. You either get that from practicing all the time and finding it yourself since a child or you just get it because YOU GOT IT. However I did notice Tua seems to throw sidearm a little and still can put a good enough arc on the ball. Arm strength is just one piece. I see Brennan susceptible to more interceptions and needs work on adjusting the speed on the ball. Burrow also had enough strength to throw on the run too, and still arc it up and down into the right pinpoint spot. Timing seems so important as well, to throw the ball - not to the receiver - but where the receiver and ball will meet in time. I see some ability in Brennan's development to do just that. But I'm going to have to trust the QB coaches and realise as capable as Brennan is, do not expect completion percentage of 76% and 6 interceptions. Unrealistic. Burrow also processed information very quickly and was always directing an orchestra out there, and knew before the defense where to go with his feet. JUST not going to get another Joe Burrow. But I agree Brennan needs to be himself and coaches-good coaches-can develop around that. Brennan looks capable of throwing at 65-66% with more work, and I would be happy with less than one pick per game, e.g. 10 picks.
Awesome analysis Murf, I've been watching Brennan since high school and your breakdown is spot on (as always). I've had to explain to some of my fellow LSU fans that your not downgrading with Brennan he will be fine, if I'm not mistaken he ran a similar offense in HS. He's got a whole off season to polish and mesh with the first team and he'll be ready to do work in the Fall 👍.
I lived in Biloxi when he was in high school just like I lived in ft Myers when Chris's curry played high school ball .I have been talking about how good Chris's curry is for years .LSU will use there backs more and that is good . We all should be thankful for Murf he knows ball better than the msm
He is a little lighter than Joey B, but he is about 210 needs to beef up to 220-225 from now to start of next season he is going to be a monster. In high school he completely changed around a football program and broke all the records. This guy is going to be a freak
Good shit Murf💯 I think Brennan is going to surprise a lot of people next year. Im pretty sure Peter Parrish is going to transfer in spring or fall camp after Finley and Johnson start getting reps.
Top Billin’ always breaking it down! And I always watch to the end! MB is a slinger and with Dillon, McMath and company the future looks bright. As always appreciate your No BS analysis!
Needs to find his touch and work on his timing and rapport with his wide outs, which he will. He has a great work ethic and is an intense guy who can hold a room. He'll be able to make throws Burrow couldn't because of his arm strength, but he will need to be able to make those good decisions still. So often you see a guy with a cannon try to fit balls into tight windows because he relies too heavily on that arm strength, even in the pros. If he puts the work in, he has a chance to be as good as anybody out there. My biggest hope is that he doesn't try to be Joe Burrow and is just himself and leads in his own way to make the team his rather than Burrow's replacement. And with that Emery pass, my hope is that Emery's recent eye surgery will get him 100% so he can see the ball better and make that catch, even if it is humming.
I think there was a reason Joe threw a ton to the middle of the field this year. Not a knock on his arm, just play to your strengths. With Brennan, I think he will be able to cover sideline to sideline and spread the defense out having to cover more ground.
He needs to get better at moving around in the pocket IMO. I have high hopes for him! Anyone who can throw for more yards than Brett Farve in high school must be special, right? Geaux Tigers!
I played against him my freshman year he has a cannon of an arm and knows how to dissect a defense and he can find a open receiver real fast, he also not scared to take a hit
Do you think Myles can (or has) develop the leadership skills that Burrow possessed? I imagine two years under Burrow would’ve bestowed some experience of how to lead the team. Great content Murph
Watching one of his throws reminded me of Dan Marino. To quote Marino, ..."arm strength is overrated, it's velocity on the ball from A to B that's most important". That is my number #1 prerequisite when looking at QBs. Brennan has that quality and I see no problem with him stretching the field. In the video I also saw shades of Favre and Mahomes.
I feel that Brady was brought to install and Esminger got the concepts down enough to give Brennan the edge. Love these videos and thank u for your dedication and consistency of balance Breakdowns no matter the team.🔥🔥
Kid has all the tools and athleticism to be a star.. He just needs reps and take advantage of great weight program cause he is a thin guy! 220 pounds would be nice weight for him
After seeing them both at field level, Myles was still skinnier than Joe this year. But a huge improvement from when he was a tall skinny freshman. If he can add a few more pounds this offseason, I’m excited for next year already!
I'm not sold on him yet,i have to see more because he struggled at times making plays when he was out there(mixed bag). i understand he was playing with the 2nd stringers but he still should have made more plays
Tbh the only qualm I have with Myles is his release point being a bit low and they didn’t give him enough reps throwing last season when the game was well put away. I’m eager to see some spring game tape to see if he got that touch on his deep balls though. Regardless the kid has a rocket for an arm and if they can build the offense around him as they did burrow, I can see LSU going at the least 11-1 but I guess we gonna have to wait and see 🤷🏼♂️
I asked you on the livestream after the championship how’d you thought he would do and you said you’d have to look into it. I wasn’t expecting a whole video 😂😂 bless up 🙏🏾
?? You guys are goofy, man. Do you honestly think anything I do would have to do with anyone? LSU is a team I cover; do you not think I would have to eventually get to its QB? Has anyone ever seen me not do something on a QB for the teams I cover on a regular basis?
I'm weird but you are thanking me for a video that anyone and everyone knows I have to do by including yourself in the narrative like my content has something to do with you? I'm being completely honest, bro: I have no clue you even existed until you just commented this. Blessing up would simply be talking about the content and not yourself, as if you had anything to do with this...Logically (aka business) speaking, I'm required to dissect EVERY potential or actual starting QB that plays for a team that I cover....Asking me about it after a Natty, if that's actually true, is me saying concentrate on the moment.
Murf Where do you think guys like Derrick Dillon and Stephen Sullivan should go in the draft? They hardly played this year but are still nfl caliber receivers imo
A ton of positive stuff is coming out on Stephen Sullivan- his stock apparently went up a ton during the senior bowl week. Probably a little bit of a developmental project
Emery... I just eye surgery Last week. He was legally blind one eye.Brennan throws conventional for the high loft soft touch( which is still too much heat) and side arms the fast ball.
Nice analysis. The LSU offense at 80% of last years will still score 35+ points per game. With a Pelini defense the LSU Tigers should be able to have a great run again.
I think he’s so excited to make a play and give it to playmakers in space he just flings the damn thing with no regard to human life lol...that canon tho. My lord
Saw him in high school against my daughters school. He was throwing 40 yard darts as a sophomore. Back then I predicted he’d be the next Payton Manning!
Brennan is a heck of a qb, he has a heck of a role to fill. He has all the talent needed to lead this team to back to back nattys. If I could tell him one thing- be yourself make your own history and don’t try to be Burrow be better. GEAUX TIGAHS
(Mild Menace here, you wouldn’t have known who in the hell I was) You know I’ve been hard on the boy this year Murf, but we’ve already seen some big improvement from the second half of this season. He’s got huge potential
Personnel + coaching wins game. It wasn't just Joe Burrow he had weapons and Joe Brady and a hell of an OLine. Brennan has to prove it before i say how great he is. Smh It's no pressure when you're the back up and you're winning 41-7.
People are sitting on Miles, but they forget he was 100% prepared to take over LSU's offense even before Joe showed up. He's a crouching tiger hidden monster.
Brennan's biggest problem before Etling and Burrow came along was that he held on to the ball to lont and didnt have a good pocket presence. He can sling that fucking ball and his arm is livelier then Burrows. Best believe that. I'm excited to see what he can do next season after the 2019 and 2018 season now that he had time to train his ability and mature. Also Hes a pro with the handoff fakes.
People forget Brennon was recruited to run the new offense. No one thought that Burrow would be ready to run it after just one year at LSU. Not saying LSU can repeat 2019 season but they will be a Top 10 team for the next few years.
Nobody was recruited for the new offense tillthos coming in class. Lsu ran pro style I form and some 11 personnel spread stuff when coach o took over and fired Cam, he then hired coach e who ran the above mentioned offense while interim oc and while o was interim. O then went and hired Canada as his first oc as head coach. He then realized that he didn't do enough homework on Canada and knew he screwed up as soon as he saw that gimmicky shit. He told him to stop shifting so much, so then we lose to Troy and get blew out by state, all while Danny e was qb and Brennan was a freshman fighting for the job. Eventually o said, Canada do your thing, but Danny is our qb, Canada wanted Brennan, but I digress. We then salvaged the season and fired Canada as soon as possible without being a dick about it . So now it's 2018 season, Brennan is gonna be qb coach ensminger is gonna put in his offense without Les and Canada. It's more spread pro style 11 personal with I form and play action aspects. Then burrow comes in during the summer, wins the job, but we lose 29 -0 to bama. Lsu got a bcs bowl or whatever it's called now, ny6 I think. We did the whole country a favor and beat down ucf in the fiesta bowl with jontre" I'm 100 percent a wr" Kirkland . We had so many guys out that he had to play corner for Tue first time in that game. Now it's 2019,the bama loss ate at orgeron badly all winter, so he went to coach e and said, we gotta open this thing all the way up. They went to saints to learn more about there offense and the guy we met was Joe Brady who happened to also know all there is to know about the rpo game. We hired Joe Brady instead of just meeting him to learn from him in the off season.. He installs the new offense that was the best ever and that offense fit burrow like a glove. Joe's strengths are matched perfectly with the offense.. Joe's great out of the gun, loves forward facing play action, works hard with receivers in the off season so that the wrs are on the same page as he is, in regards to the option routes. He throws with the greatest combo of accuracy and anticipation that the college football world has ever seen. His deep ball accuracy is so much better then the 2nd best; that it will blown ur mind. He has a good pocket presence and is fast and elusive, this goes well with the high IQ receivers we have ,they have the best scramble rules acumen I've seen.. That was long lol, but my point is, nobody was recruited to run the saints passing game because we didn't even know we were gonna run it till after national signing day, and before that, we were recruiting whatever we could get at qb
His throwing motion definitely makes me think of Mahomes. Hopefully he has a big upside, I think he might be pretty special, otherwise LSU would be chasing around these transfers

Spring ball is just around the corner. LSU is loaded out the wazoo. Do not be surprised if its 2 Natty's in a row. GEAUX TIGAHS !!!
Hail LOUISIANA, da boot in da building
Richard Cotton still drunk from Natty night. Best team I’ve seen in a while but sorry not two in a row
LSU reloads every year so I see it as a possible, but the coaching will have to be on point.
I'd be surprised if they won 2 in a row. The Tigers have lost so much already and I just can't see a way to overcome all that. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I just can't see it.

The next great LSU QB... Brennan!
I know this isn’t what the video is about, but watching Emery Jr. drop that ball reminded me. Did you hear that he was legally blind in one eye? Just had LASIK done to fix it. Scary to think he was as good as he was with one eye.

If we have an O line that can give him time, Brennan will be great. Great film work I really enjoy it.

With Max Johnson coming in, perhaps start attracting more high caliber QBs, I have confidence LSU will be contenders for a long time.

Keep doing what you're doing. Love it!
brennan puttin that HOT SAUCE on his throws
*Tobasco
Chris Davis crystal
Will be interesting to see the concepts whoever the new passing game coordinator at LSU brings to add to the existing concepts.
Cant stare down receivers against the first team in SEC play. That's my only knock on Brennan. On the 2 RB option plays, he never looked right, even though he had an out/drag open.
And that can easily be fixed with coaching
He will progress into that
He also looked off the safety's in a previous play so maybe he knew he had that throw no matter what. The linebacker was lined up to the outside and there was no one in the middle. He will be ready come game time. And now we have Pelini back, get ready for some monster defense too.

Rumors say joe lombardi is the leading candidate for lsu passing game coordinator
cody mason ???
cody mason I go to school with his son or grandson depending on which one of the joes you are taking about. He’s been saying the same thing
Another great breakdown murph. Excited to see LSU with him under the helm. #topbillin
Good work excited to see this cat play this next season
He has a strong arm and when he finds his touch, it could be scary especially with first team offense
He has a gun. I don't like that he stares down receivers at times. Hopefully he works on that touch and looking off receivers. I like his potential.
Brennan has unbelievable arm I have watched this kid every spring game. He has grown every year!
Cant wait to see brennan play with chase and the first team o line its gonna be nice great break down as always man keep killin it
and Terrace Marshall
LSU has a hell of a team coming back next year and I don’t think the rest of the country knows it........yet!
They didn't know it last year, either.
Yes sir...I said the same thing
Thanks for the great breakdown Murf.
Thanks, Top Billin. Love your channel and your analysis - especially when you’re talking about my Tigers! I’m sharing with everybody.
He’s looking really good. He makes all the throws in practice. I’m excited to see what he can do in a full game

Brennan looks capable of throwing at 65-66% with more work, and I would be happy with less than one pick per game, e.g. 10 picks.
Who is Marcus?
@@TopBillinSports Murph! I had Marcus Freeman in my mind for some reason. My sincere apologies!
He reminds me of a cross between etling and burrow. Can't wait to see him next yr.
Awesome analysis Murf, I've been watching Brennan since high school and your breakdown is spot on (as always). Biggest concern
Can he make the touch throws
Can’t use that Flame 🔥 Thrower on EVERY pass
If MB can only match 70% of Burrow’s Passing TD’s...he would have 42 next year. Ridiculous. Geaux Tigas!
Chase still going to be there and he has a great rhythm with mcmath
And Terrace Marshall, Trey Palmer and my boy Arik Gilbert is instant impact.
Add Emery, TDP and Curry as his safety valves. LSU still insanely stacked on offense
Needs to find his touch and work on his timing and rapport with his wide outs, which he will. He has a great work ethic and is an intense guy who can hold a room. Geaux Tigers!
Kids has a cannon for an arm but needs to work on putting more touch on wide open recievers its not all about arm strength example Joe Burrow
I played against him my freshman year he has a cannon of an arm and knows how to dissect a defense and he can find a open receiver real fast, he also not scared to take a hit
love your analysis of players. interesting takes on segments of the game. props. Geaux Tigers
Oh yeah Murph 🗣 I’ve been waiting for this
TB: Love the way you break things down for us old O-linemen to understand. Keep 'em coming, my boi. PEACE
I'm sure he is extremely motivated!
Great breakdown murph i been telling my boys y'all sleeping on Brennan..he just need reps..💪
Most underrated aspect of Brennan is his competitiveness. People who have been around him rave about his Joe Burrow-like competitive fire.
Do you think Myles can (or has) develop the leadership skills that Burrow possessed? I imagine two years under Burrow would’ve bestowed some experience of how to lead the team. Great content Murph
Great job, Bro
Myles Brennan will be a stud.! Fact
Been waiting to see if you did this breakdown. Thanks again my dude!
Yeah, Murf. Our boy is a grown-assed man now.
Hope he puts more touch, that fastball is serious af.
From windup to release is so damn quick
Yeah, his quick release reminds me of Dan Marino.

Thanks for making this, tired of seeing people say we ain’t gonna do shit
Brennan is gonna shine this season!!
Had to come back and check out what the coaches are having to consider when choosing a starter between him and max!
Great Breakdown. You are so right. Myles has a cannon. I hope he can be consistently accurate
dudes got a brett farve arm. I like that cannon
Enjoyed it 'til the end! Thanks Murph.
My man Joe! Good looking out!
LSU is in good hands with Brennan
As a die hard, bleed purple and gold tiger fan I'm excited to see Brennan get his shot at running the show GEAUX TIGERS!
Great vid bro I always liked his potential can’t wait to see the kid get his shot.
I'm not sold on him yet,i have to see more because he struggled at times making plays when he was out there(mixed bag). i understand he was playing with the 2nd stringers but he still should have made more plays
I been waiting a while too see Myles do his thing, the legacy of Les
Damn I was giving you props and thanking you for the video wtf. I literally said “bless up” you big weird, I ain even come for u
Thank you Murf
Murf Where do you think guys like Derrick Dillon and Stephen Sullivan should go in the draft? They hardly played this year but are still nfl caliber receivers imo
Not a Sullivan fan, but I could see him in the 6th-round. Dillon seems like a 4th or 5th-round type based on his speed.
I was wating for you to talk about him
MB has tendencies to locked on his receivers with his eyes...hoping Joe Brady and Burrow taught him to not do that as much.
Yeah I noticed that too.
If he is as accurate as It looks,...and he puts in the work this next season for LSU just might be as good as this season.
I think he’s so excited to make a play and give it to playmakers in space he just flings the damn thing with no regard to human life lol...that canon tho. My lord
I don’t expect him to put up Burrow numbers, but he can definitely throw for 35 TDs next year
40TD 8int he will be very good
Christopher Perry I will absolutely take that
He had a great dtive in the Oklahoma game
Saw him in high school against my daughters school. He was throwing 40 yard darts as a sophomore. Back then I predicted he’d be the next Payton Manning!
Brennan is a heck of a qb, he has a heck of a role to fill. He has all the talent needed to lead this team to back to back nattys. If I could tell him one thing- be yourself make your own history and don’t try to be Burrow be better. GEAUX TIGAHS
I like what we got and I feel there will be a repeat but I wanna see that first real game
(Mild Menace here, you wouldn’t have known who in the hell I was) You know I’ve been hard on the boy this year Murf, but we’ve already seen some big improvement from the second half of this season. He’s got huge potential
Black & Miles!!
This is soooooo good
If we don't mess him up, Myles Brennan will be a great QB for the LSU Tigers! Geaux, Brennan!
Myles bam bam Brennan, love it. Geaux Tigas 😀
MURF!!! YOU ARE FORGETTING SOMETHING!!!!
(Remember: Bebe' promised Derek's parents that he would eventually play receiver as well).
Shhhhhh.... ;)
Top Billin I Myles this year was around 207lbs and Burrow was 215lbs
Um, ok?!
Thanks for this! I've been telling people that we will be ok without Burrow
What the hell are you talking about
Nobody was recruited for the new offense tillthos coming in class.
Great mechanics. Big arm. Can he acquire the football smart Joe has?
I'm an LSU fan and I'm pretty weary about Brennan even though he almost beat Joe Burrow in a QB battle. I hope he can prove me wrong
What up Murf 👍🏁... I'll be back soon my guy
What do you mean, Ricco?
I'm back, account issue 👍
His throwing motion definitely makes me think of Mahomes. Hopefully he has
a big upside, I think he might be pretty special, otherwise LSU would be chasing around these transfers
I think Brennan will be find. A lot of us Tiger fans are more concerned with depth in case Myles gets injured. God forbid.
Myles has a rocket for an arm actually better than Joe's.!
SRT86.4 he has a better arm than Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, doesn’t mean he is as good as them tho! Let’s hope so
Great content bro .. really kno what u be talking bout
Racey graduated from my high school Edna Karr .. dude been a star
