Can I run it powered and recording nonstop days in a row? I'd like to use it as a regular surveillance camera. I wonder if it would properly work on the long run
Great video, but I need help, please. I was given this cute clock/camera as a gift, but as I don't own a smartphone is there a way to connect it via my laptop? My buddy said I could (then denied knowing how as "who doesn't own a phone?"). I can't even adjust the time lolol. Any suggestions would be wonderful, thank you!
So far as I can recall - and it was some time ago I used it - you do need a phone to set up and configure the camera. Once it has been set up you can just leave it to get on with it and you can access the video directly from the SD card. You could maybe borrow a phone from someone and use it to set the time and other settings and then use the spycam SD card in your computer to view the results. I think the camera will remember the last settings used each time it is turned on. Sorry I cannot help more.
Hi do you know hoe many frames per second this has, and compared to the older model of the same brand?
Use an app such as Handbrake to analyse files generated by the camera.
@marcoscu hi, I'm asking if you happen to know how many frames per second it records in because if it's too low then I won't buy it..

So far as I recall, it will run when powered from USB and again, so far as I can recall, it will overwrite the SD card from the start when it is full.
Have you had a chance to test if it runs nonstop days when plugged in to power source?
thanks, so clips always are 5min long, can I change setting for let say 10 min?
Check the User Guide, that may help.

night vision is automatic or manual controlled?
So far as I recall it is manual with an automatic option.

It keeps sending me alarming notifications after every 5-10 seconds and eating up my phone battery
Try resetting it. I cannot recall for sure offhand, but I think it has a reset pinhole.
