Honestly waystones should be part of the base game, not maybe like this implementation, but something you can craft in the late game using special enchanted items would be so useful and rewarding, especially on survival servers
I think as long as it’s super expensive I could dig it. And if it lets you dimension hop too you’d need even more rare stuff. Maybe make it biome related and within a certain amount of chunks. Like you can place a specific one in a specific biome say DesertWaypoint. And you could only place it in a desert, however for the next like idk 2000 blocks you can’t place another desert waypoint or it’ll just warp you to the original one like the nether portals that are too close. And to double down because fast travel methods makes for a powerful immersion breaking tool, let’s make it so the rare drop req. to make it is from specific biome basically hinting at you’d need to had already spent a lot of time in that type. That way it’s more of a welcome to our world for new players, and useful for quick farming supplies from biomes you already have made the effort to.
for those who are looking for mods like this, theres a free mod, its called "Better on Bedrock" completely free and it adds waystones and many other things. edit: you have to be on PC to get it, but you can apply the mod to a bedrock world...
@cajuncajun2594 sadly, you get it on bedrock, if you have a pc, you can get it for free and make it a bedrock world with the mod on it. that's the only way bedrock players can play the Better on Bedrock mod. it might...just might work on a phone too but i doubt it
I worry that since bedrock has paid add ons the developers won’t ever add or update anything similar to the add ons for example the food add on why would mojang add more food to the game when they can make people pay for an add on does that not make you a bit concerned?
The design of those are really cool. I like those maybe a tiny bit more than the waystones mod on Java. But, if I can't pick them up and move them, that's kinda lame, and even for just a dollar, I don't feel like it's worth it, especially when I can just play Java, and use the normal waystone mod for free, but it's still cool for console players, or people whose computers can't run Java smoothly.

They are moveable, you can click on it and remove it and it will go into your inventory
