First time seeing your you tube . I wondered if you have been doing all the planting. I read one comment, where they said they had gone back when you started eight years ago . I sure have enjoyed the beautiful garden and music. Good to know that you love The Lord ! Linda🌹❤️🙏
@@lindabutts477 Hi Linda, I have no idea why your message was not notified back then, I so appreciate your comment. Yes, I started this garden 8 years ago with all mature trees and shrubs suffered by lack of care for number of years, but I can see their beauties, they motivate me to do good. Thank God He guided me to this piece of land, so I can worship Him through gardening. Happy 4th of July🎉🇺🇸 God Bless America🙏
I thought it would be fun to go back from when you first stated your channel eight years ago and look at all the spring videos from the same time span and see how your property has involved over the years. All I can say is WOW!! You have been really busy! I can see where you have had to make many design changes as you have lost trees. Also love how you have added all the hard scape over the years. Can’t wait to see the work on the new pond and how you incorporate it into your design. The other three have really brought in the wild life. I have been posting your channel on my Facebook page and my friends love your UA-cam channel. You are such an inspiration. Also love the music videos on your playlist. Your passion is such a blessing to us all!
Oh Mary how blessed I am to be your garden friend! You are the only one paying so much attentions to all things I have created over the last 8 years, you made me proud. For I am not a talker for my garden channel (there are plenty out there to educate us), but rather present the result of my hard works, people’s comment and likings are greatly appreciated. FB doesn’t like me, the new account I’ve setup only last couple of hours, then I got canceled again☹️ thank you so much for supporting my channel, your friends will be my friends too💖 have a nice weekend and don’t work too hard in the garden😜
Your garden is beyond beautiful. Clearly your knowledge is substantial. Why don't you help us understand how your garden got to this point? Is it in maintenance mode or are you making changes?
Hi Catherine, thank agin for liking my garden! I am just like everyone out there, still learning about gardening. I was just lucky began working on this garden 8 years ago with lots of mature trees and shrubs are unique and magnificent, even though everything was overgrown and out of control back then. I don’t make major changes unless is necessary like some trees are too old and diseased, or too tall and dangers that I have to cut them down. What I have done is to go around with the original pattern, little by little add more plants to create four seasons beauty, sometimes I need to make some changes to adjust sunlight situation. oh yes, I dug out 3 ponds for the wildlife, and the 4th one is coming soon. once in a while I may try plant something new, but most of the time I like to use native plants or plants are easy to adapt to local climate. After all, dividing and propagation not only make my garden abundantly, helps friends too😊
Thanks for your response. Two years ago my husband and I moved to a property, zone 4, that had possibilities. There is about 1.5 out of 8.5 acres that was cleared out of a Maple forest on rolling sand dunes. I don't think that I will ever have the courage to dig up more than one pond. 4?! It's going to be amazing! From now on, when my husband shakes his head with a smile on his face, while I am digging up and making more changes, that my goal is to have a garden where family and friends can find peace, like your garden; brought to us through UA-cam.
