It's hard to know who to trust online. Everyone is selling something. Even I one day hope to mentor some of you. There are fake gurus out there that claim to know how to teach airbnb, business, and real estate. Phonies like Chi Ta trying to sell his course BNB university or Brian Page trying to sell BNB formula. Inexperienced hosts like Stayly with only a few properties and a year of airbnb experience, they claim to make millions on airbnb bust don't reveal those million are all course sales that come from ad campaign and a free webinar that they misrepresent as a paid webinar that is free just for you. Coaches with No airbnb arbitrage or business leaderhip experience like Robuilt. There are no-name hosts with barely any properties trying to claim they're successful, such as vacation rental machine or bnb riches, or the 10xbnb system. None of these "gurus" have a decade and a half of sales experience or business leadership under their belt in addition to having over 100 properties. How are you able to have housekeepers at 15 an hour still drive all over town to clean these units? Certainly they are not driving their own vehicles at that rate unless they are getting a gas stipend. Certainly they are not sticking around for much longer than 3 months.

I also got that on Airbnb where they show me a lot of beach front places as I was looking for something like that for a break / staycation in the UK. I liked before when you could move the photos around. I’m a host in the UK and have airbnbs here. 😊

Hi Sean amazing content - I actually give all of our properties a name. It really helps especially our repeat corporate customers who book multiple times a year identify which property they want to book eg “is Birdwood house available?” Or “can we book Sakura House again from x date to y date?”
I rented out four rooms in the house located right across the beach and the ocean. I named each room: "Golden Sand ", " Gentle Sunrise ", " Sunset Shimmer " and "Sparkling Sun ". My guests loved it! It turned their imagination on and they were more excited and happy to spend time there. Unfortunately, I shut my airb&b down. But the memories are very good
So should a host change their main photo to show snow in winter, just to satisfy the algorithm? Change them seasonally?

On an earlier video you mentioned photo's. I took mine out of rooms. However, I can't see to move within the additional photo area now. Do you know a trick? Maybe a new video on this?
I think you’ve mentioned Britta filters in more than one video. I’m not a host, but I have used Airbnb occasionally when I travel. If I see a Britta filter in the refrigerator, I assume the filter probably needs to be changed. I assume the pitcher has not been washed. I would never drink the water out of that. I just go to the store and buy my own water.

Hi has this changed with new Airbnb layout.
What is everyone in my area with similar listing are under 3%? One of my listing is on par with similar listing at 0.67%.
What are these little books in the lower left corner of your search results with a picture of the host? I don't have those showing in my search results. Is this a setting I have turned off?

You can use the community fee instead.

The secret is to find someone who was happy with $12 an hour in a trash job. Pay them $17, train them well, lead them well
Hahahhaaa. Not anymore. Everyone wants a flat rate and they are insanely high. Cleaners wanted a piece of the pie and won’t do it otherwise.
@AirbnbAutomated $400 quote, so I had to go with the $250 quote, 2 cleaners 2 hours 😢

😮 unfortunately the hero photo that you choose is not the photo that Airbnb shows to potential guests.
Make sure you go incognito to look for your property.
I chose the beautiful sunrise over the lake that is the view from the bedroom. Airbnb chose to show a picture of my couch.
When I search for my property I went right past it because they were not showing my hero photo.
When I contacted Airbnb to let them know about the problem they basically told me they have the prerogative to show whatever picture they want to the potential guests.
They were not required to show the hero photo I chose the algorithm decides what picture to show potential guests.
Needless to say my reservations went in the crapper when they were showing a picture of my couch instead of a picture of the beautiful sunrise over the water.
Why does he look so different in such a short amount of time? I had to take a second and make sure I was returning to the same person I started watching for help 15 months ago…
