Damn it got me pumped now I got to go slap the Freeride on the charger, grab the kid after school and head straight to the woods! Missed buying the Alta but the SurRon and Freeride are awesome excited for the Varg!

Thanks for watching bro! I would have put in a pre-order in on the varg but you can't make it street legal, so I can't go that route yet. Get out there and rip it!

You put in the effort & skills to make this video next level 💯 on the 💶 . Looks like Trails in Jackson. Haven't rode the Alta, ever since jumping into ParaMotoring

Great video and a great bike. I just purchased an mxr as well. What kind of range do you get? It looks like you were full send for most of this video, awesome!

Well it totally depends how you ride it. If I kept it in map 4 for the whole time and rode it like I was riding in this video I probably would only get like 10 to 12 miles out of it. But I've done rides where Ive just kept it in map one and took it easy in the woods and I've gotten 28 miles. If you were to just cruise on the roads under 30 mph you could probably get a lot more than that. I rarely ever have it in map 3 and 4 just for the sake of conserving battery power since I leave from my house and have to make it home.

Cool bike. If I was on the mainland I'd have one. Got the KTM for the factory suport. Have a Varg on order.
Your attack potion is a little high. Drop the hips back a little more which will get your chest closer and your head a little more forward. Also test tightening up your rear sag just a bit (100mm down to 95mm or whatever). The back will squat less and it will steer sharper 👌 Report back the results.

Great feedback. Now this is what a constructive comment is supposed to look like haha. Yeah now that I think of it I don't think I've checked the sag since I got the alta in the very beginning and I certainly never touched the suspension settings just because it's been so good. That's the one thing I love about the alta is that I can skip whoops pretty fast on this thing which is something I cannot do on my 350. I don't know if it's the suspension or just the nature of how the Alta is designed in combination with the instant throttle, but I've never really messed with it because I love the way I can just go through the big stuff fast. I really wish I could do that on my 350 but no matter what I seem to do with my settings and even with a revalve I just can't skip like that. The 350 is getting a spring conversion next month and valved stiffer so we'll see if that helps. So you think it looks like my rear is sitting too high?

@@JoshStreetDesign no, the rear is squatting a bit. If it was a wee bit higher it would put more weight on the front and steer quicker.

@@JohnHowerton137 ohhh, gotcha. Yeah I was gonna say, I thought it was the other way around.... But I think I would need a stiffer spring to do that right because it's already pretty much at the top... Pretty sure at 190lbs I'm heavier than what this thing was sprung for.
