As a former Marching Chief at Florida State, and current member of the Armed Forces, thanks so much LHB for putting on the coolest military tribute halftime show I've ever seen! Enjoyed this thoroughly, and thought the tribute to coach Royal was a classy and respectful touch as well.
Hey Tracy It was so nice meeting you last night at the New Mexico State game. I didn't see me in the video but the man that walks by at the first of this video is my brother. See you at the next game!! Love the video!!
This is absolutely not true... Of course you have to audition for the Aggie Band; there is not a single "walk on who just knows how to play an instrument." And having been in the band myself, I promise you that the majority of the members could do a show drill, because that's what they did in high school. And the music is traditional, but the Aggie band never does the same drill at home twice, and trust me, they aren't "basic". No need to tear down one band to make the LHB seem better.
I'm so afraid to tell you that you have no idea what you are talking about. If you think this longhorn band is comparable to the band at Texas A&M then you're lost.
Wonderfully clever formations....loved it!!

I'm speechless. (David Currey, Trombone, LHB 1970-1976)

Hook 'em Forever.
UT band is a SHOW band. A&M is a military band. Two completely different styles, LOVE BOTH of them.

Texas loud Texas proud
I hate to say this but the Aggies and Longhorns both end their shows with their fight song.
What does that have to do with anything?
My point is that they both copy each other.
