Namaste `! very well done and thank you for the vital information, one should take the advantage as long as you are young and create your own memories, thank you "India Hikes and good luck
Hi indiahikes team, I heard in some youtube video (locals of manali people were saying) that females are not allowed to go near beas kund. Is it true? Then you guys will also not take us near kund ? Or what? 😶🤔
Hi Tekaswita, yes. The locals believe that women can't go near the Kund because of mythological reasons. At Indiahikes, we actually go to the top from where you get an aerial view of the kund along with the stunning views of the whole valley. Our trek is designed in a way where you get the best out of each day and still get to see the lake. But we don't really go near the lake.
Hi Himadri, both Beas and Bhrigu are unique in their own ways. It depends on what you are looking for in a trek. On both Bhrigu and Beas, you get to see Mt Hanuman Tibba, closer view in Beas compared to Bhrigu. On Bhrigu, you go to the high altitude Bhrigu lake while on Beas Kund, you get to the source of river Beas. On both the treks you trek on the rolling green meadows. In the last week of June, you might even find snow on the upper reaches of the trek. However, if you are a first time trekker, we would suggest you to choose Beas as it's one level easier compared to Bhrigu yet offers you a great experience. You can refer to our trek pages for more information on these treks: Beas Kund - indiahikes.com/beas-kund Bhrigu lake - indiahikes.com/bhrigu-lake
Hi, you need to submit the screenshots of your runs. You can refer to the fitness section on the trek page for more details - indiahikes.com/beas-kund#getting-fit
Hi Nishant, All Himachal treks becomes inaccessible during winter due to excess snow. The best time to do this trek is during monsoons. Go through our trek for more information about the trek - indiahikes.com/beas-kund
so basically I just want to ask you guys why 4 days to just cover a 8-9 km trek .... believe me guys it can be done in a single day within 7-8 hours ....but if you're a beginner then you should do it in two days ... just have a one night camp stay at Bakarthach and next day hike to Beas Kund ..... Indiahikes and other companies I don't know why have camp at Dhundi and Palanithach...it's totally useless....
Well, if you look at it that way, you can even do treks like Roopkund and Tarsar Marsar in a single day or two. I know of several people who have. It is just safer to spread out a high altitude trek over a few days for better acclimatisation. These videos are especially meant for trekkers who travel from all over the country to these mountains to do a trek. It doesn't make sense to risk Acute Mountain Sickness just to spare a day or two.
Did my beas khud trek in 1992 almost 30 years back....nice trek and nice memories....
Wow what was the trek like back then!? Very curious to know!
Hey! Which trek would you suggest for a beginner?

@@swathichatrapathy1058 I don't think there's a need of "acclimatisation" for a trek near Manali
@@priyanshukaushal29 yes, bcoz manali is already at 6k feet.
