This was the one episode that I just couldn't hold back my tears. Poor Clay is all I could think. I can say this actor did an amazing job with this scene and show. Can't wait to find out what else happens in season 2.

@@ArnavKhode because she didn’t think she was good enough, she was feeling worthless, broken and to her clay was pure and sweet. she didn’t want to hurt him
@@ArnavKhode she believed that she didn’t deserve to be with someone as good as clay, because of all the things that happened to her. She didn’t feel worthy of being with clay.
Jim Dandy They drove her to the decision to kill herself, if they didn't treat her like shit, she would never have reached the point to kill herself. Yes, she made the choice to end her life, but she wouldn't have made that decision if those assholes didn't drive her to that point. You clearly don't know what its like to be in her shoes, if you did you would be more understanding and not being a prick and victim blame here. She just said, those people destroyed her utterly, thereby making them responsible for her suicide.
Jim Dandy Well you certainly act like one, a bully who takes joy in bullying people to the point of suicide. Personal Decisions? It wasn't her choice for those people to bully her to the point of making her suicide. Brainwashed? No, I'm a decent person here who doesn't make fun of suicide victims and blame them for circumstances they can't control. You are a despicable person who does all those things, and I wouldn't be surprised that you caused a few people to commit suicide because of your vile and disgusting actions towards them. You still don't get it, do you? They DESTROYED her utterly, in every way they could. She never used her Rape as a weapon, Bryce deserves what's coming to him and if you had any decency you would accept that. Free Speech? Your hate speech against Suicide victims is not free speech, it's terrorism against people you take pleasure in torturing.
Jim Dandy Dude, stop. We both know this is fiction, so stop repeating that. But saying that, this fiction is based on real life, because what happens in the show happens in real life too, to real victims. Bullies need to be held accountable for their actions, Jessica and the others should be charged with manslaughter as they were the ones who created the circumstances that led Hannah to take her own life. As for Jeff dying, Hannah was in no position to speak up about it, especially with what she was going through in her own life. She was afraid and lacked confidence in speaking up. Sherri on other hand, has no excuse, she should have spoke up but didn't. (Btw Sherri isn't white). Brainwashed? Really? You calling me that again? Dude, I've been where Hannah was in some of the situations she was in. I'm not brainwashed, I understand. It's called Empathy, not Brainwashed. And Bryce did commit sexual assault buddy, rewatch him.
Clay didn't do anything wrong, but he was one of the only ones on those tapes that actually felt guilty. There's no way he coulda known what was upsetting Hannah. He didn't force any of that to happen
Joe Whitehead She also never talked to clay about what was going on and how she felt because it was too hard and she wanted to forget about it but things kept getting worse. So i agree with you.
"Clay, Helmet" she s saying one of her two "reasons why not" like she was giving up them definitely and we can feel how much she's hurt saying her last goodbye to Clay... giving up everything
clay is the nicest person i’ve seen in any show and he didn’t deserve to go through so much pain. two important friends died and he blames himself for both of them being dead
1945joshuaruiz what did clay ever do, did he send photos of Hannah kissing Courtney, or Sexually assault her, clay tried to help her and she told him to go away. Clays innocent.
Her voice breaking on Helmet, i started fucking sobbing. Because listening to the other clips u can tell the Clay clip was the only one who affected her truly. The only clip in which you could HEAR her visibly distraught. Like i SOBBED and then him blaming himself, and when he started sobbing, i LOST ITTTTT.

This is the most relatable, emotional, realist, connecting, series Netflix have ever created because I really connected with the characters like I personally knew them that’s why I was so sad when Justin passed because I felt like I knew him my whole life and and absolutely no one could ever Play the role of Clay better than Dylan Minnette like I mean it absolutely blew my mind how good of an actor he is and I’m just disappointed that there would not be an season 5 because this show really hits home and The prom scene when Alex and Charlie we’re dancing and Alex said to Charlie this“Part of me will always be sad, and part of me is the happiest I’ve ever been in a long time” really hits hard because I felt that every time I hear that part I cry and get chills because I know how that feels and after the series ended I was crying for 2 weeks straight and it still hurts til this day but Netflix need to make more series like this hope you guys have a good day
The fact that after listening to the tape that claimed to be Clay's but was actually evidently Hannah's (for saying how she regrets telling him to leave the bedroom and how she doesn't deserves him) just proves that clay is a great guy and the most mature and honest since after a hundred times with her saying he's not the reason why, he STILL felt like it was his fault that Hannah took her life. Which is sad tbh... it's sad how he always feels like he's responsible for people
This was my favourite scene, primarily because of the acting and the revelation of Hanna's thoughts on Clay. Perfect script and directing. 10/10 episode
I know it's a bit to ask but may I ask what actually happened and when did Hannah die. I don't watch 13 reasons why, I just stumbled onto this. I get the sad message here though.

The thing that got me was that low no sound clay makes when Hanna says u never deserved to be with you the way he says it the sound of defeat and despair
