Both parents need to sign separately. My employer clicked yes on the maintenance fund, so I clicked yes for my son. So I don't need to show bank statements. @@areebashabbir2244 you must have downloaded two forms 1 is declaration and another must be consent. Please sign the declaration form both parents (usually the first pages only relevant) and then sign the consent form first two pages. And then write an application stating no objection to write the consent and no issue being him/her your dependent. This is enough.

@@hebinjosechoorackal2067 registering for a baby born in uk doesn't need passport after the birth registration Indian consulate you can apply for passport and it can be done together, but the process of birth registration will happen first, for brp they will ask for 2 documents, u can add either birth certificate of uk or passport, or u can add both. This is what they told me when I went for ukvcas appointment
