unfortunately the previews are what make UA-cam very happy. When I didn't do them I was getting about 50% less views than when I started putting a clip at the beginning of the video. The truth is that UA-cam mostly decides how much to share a video based on how many people interact with the video in the first 1 to 2 minutes of runtime so I have to shape the video around that. If it bothers you I always include a timestamp to the start of the reaction
