There's no motor involved in their flight; the wingsuit enables gliding. The smoke trail is produced by a smoke canister for visibility, not by a motor.

Anyone notice that at the end of almost every documentary about extreme sports. There's often a message that says ... "This film is dedicated to the memory of ..."?
I don't know if he was the guy who created it, but if not he was one of the first guys and world class. He was in the middle of a jump/extended fall and in it there was a metal bridge where his wife and mother among other friends and family were waiting and watching for him. As he approached and they were expecting him to emerge on the other side they were all instantly covered in a red mist! I can't remember his name, but I'm sure you can look it up.
They say squirrels don't have a sense of self and therefore have no fear of death. Congratulations to these people for having that squirrel mentality 😂
The place is called zhangjiajie. I was there in April 2024. The "hole" you see behind the jump is about 160 feet wide, 400 feet tall, give or take. The "hole" has a name dubbed "the door to heaven". Especially if you look from the base of the mountain. There are something like 7 very long escalators ( I have ever seen) taking one from the top of the mountain to the base of that hole. It is made such a way seniors can roam through this area to enjoy the view. Having said that, there is some walking to get to this point, but the most difficult part is taken care of by the escalators.
