Here is a tour of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in 4K. The airport is now an AA hub following AA's merger with US airways. Hope you enjoy! (Filmed on April 11, 2018 with a Panasonic HC-VX870K)
I live not too far from Charlotte and the first time I flew was December 2017. The employee's at CLT were all kind and answered my questions. One lady at the store helped me connect to WIFI and even gave me a hug to help me calm down because I was nervous about flying lol. My favorite in CLT are those rocking chairs!
I feel like clt has a charm 90%of other big airports dont have
It's a great airport.. all the employees are super nice. The 1st time I ever flew was from Southern Pines NC on a puddle jumper.. I was terrified.. when it was time for my connection I was not getting on any plane to LaGuardia in NYC.. The gate attendance was super.. I was updated to 1st class.. Row 1 window.. the crew were wonderful too. I was with Sully Sulenberg .. this was before the miracle he performed.. US Air stopped service to Southern Pines. I miss This airport..
Glad to hear you had a great experience!
I’m in this video! I’m the worker at the trash can and walking right to left! I worked there 2017-2022.
Charlotte has a really super airport- Lot of new Construction to accommodate the Growth of Charlotte !
i really love your airport tours
They've definitely added to concourse A... I flew into and out of A 27 in 2021. It's a united terminal.
thanks for that US airways flashback and a detailed tour of the airport.
I used to fly out of Raleigh all the time, but I moved close to Charlotte a few years ago, so I always use Charlotte now. It's one of my favorite airports, and I'm excited about all the renovations and expansions they're doing. Although I frequently fly out of CLT, I've only been to concourse A because I'm always on the same flight. (Delta Airlines, CLT to JFK and back. I frequent NYC) I've been to E once, but it felt strange because I was going against all the "DO NOT ENTER" signs, as I didn't go through security. (I had an interview with Customs for Global Entry)
thank you this is great especially with all the renovations
It is great with the renovations considering we both live in Charlotte and both have knowledge of the airport
I also hope to see more airlines open service and more heavies
My first time in Charlotte in 2018
great video i pass through the charlotte airport once a year in december great staff good experience and great view of downtown charlotte. cant wait for december 2018 which is from charlotte to hilton head island.
Hey Josh and also nice vide love to see the renovations coming to clt
America's international airport is truly classy
Nice
i live in charlotte. this is so cool.
It's too bad that they closed Sbarro in Terminal C. I used to love grabbing a slice of pizza or some pasta in between flights.
I have to run from gate E1 at 3:55 to B3 at 4:33 tomorrow, wish me luck, i’m worried i won’t make it
Did you make it?
Is there anything worth leaving the airport for if you have a 6 hour layover?
Which concourse in CLT Airport has flights to LAX?
Which terminal at Charlotte International Airport has flights to LAX?
Stephen Kostiak any airline that serves to LAX pretty sure American Airlines
Im terrified i have fly into here this summer. I hate flying and i hate travelling.
Unskippable ads suck
someone please tell me if charlotte gone get a skytrain thats run in the airport if you know let me know now
No, no benefit unless a remote concourse is built...
Did you see the plane from the miracle on the Hudson?
I saw the plane at the aviation museum right next door to the airport.
I hope saw 13-years-old pianist))
