Why do you all have black clothes on in the desert? :)
we asked ourselves the same question.
Ignorance
For video (for me) the perfect SONY G Lens is the 16-35 f4 PZ G... High Quality, Better focal range and still small and light!!!
that thing is also SO small for what it is and does.
it is good although I think its only apsc?
@@Day11film No, it is a FF lens!
@JacopoDiGiuli thanks, I was thinking of the 18-105 g
Which one would be better to take in 2024?
Photograph or videography Sony a7iii or sony a7c??? Onek choice??
I got the A7c. Cons: Bad evf, 1 card slot, only 1/4000s, no joystick. Pro: better Autofokus, better eye/ subject tracking no need for a joystick, more compact, better video features. But I really miss the front wheel which the A7c ii has.
This was something special Chris 🤜
Appreciate you 🙏🏼
Which would you recommend for a little bit of real estate and travel, the Sony FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G Lens or Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G Lens? I have the 24 - 70 Sigma so looking to something to complement this
Eyy audio is fixed. Keep it up!
Appreciate the heads up on that one!
@@chrisbrockhurst No problem!
Frikin great storytelling! Something so simple and yet so powerful. Would be interested in your process for creating this (not gear but more the idea, did you plan it out before or just shoot a bunch of cool stuff knowing you would put it together and the story came together afterwards?)
Love the shift into more story telling in this space
thanks for the kind words! With these kinds of videos i always go in with the idea of something i want to cover but it doesn't really dictate the visuals too much. For the shots I'm just looking for what looks good to me and the best way to capture them, ill try and throw in a few close ups too. Occasionally there are things that stand out to me as a pillar in the documentation of being there that should be captured, like the trail signs, crossing the road etc.
@@chrisbrockhurst nice! Look for cool shots :p Very cool and "easily" replicable!
this was superb ❤
Thankyou 🙏🏼
Nicely done Chris.
Love this, let’s say you have an a7R V, you have so much versatility with cropping that takes this lens beyond the 25.
Definitely on the list to get since we have the fx30 and the handy 28-70 from sigma.
Also The photos of Dunnadidit look great :) seemed like a great trip to the dusty desert 🌵
That's exactly how I use my A7R V and sometimes why it makes more sense than the FX3 for video
Love everything you said in the voiceover, well done Chris 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for watching
I love this! Gorgeous shots, and fantastic narration! Amazing video, man! ❤
Thanks a ton!
Absolutely LOVED EVERY SECOND of this Chris. Phenomenal little film.
Love this! The stills were also amazing. So torn between getting the a7cii or the x100vi. Your images from both were spectacular!
Appreciate that, you can’t go wrong with either camera
X100vi is a one trick pony. A7c II gets you legit video specs, some of the best auto focus you can get, access to all kinds of amazing glass, full frame. Your investing in a system with the A7c II where as the x100vi you just have a camera. To each their own but I can’t understand someone’s willingness to pay $1600 for a fixed lens camera with all the great tech that we have in 2024.
Camera Recommendation Please.
A7C vs A7C2. I am mostly a landscape, nature and street shooter (Not a professional)
1. Is it worth stretching the budget to A7C2 - 1500 vs 2200 for the body or better to invest in lenses?
2. Also, confused if 33MP vs 24MP does impact the ability of digital cropping that the A7C2 will offer?
Please suggest. Thanks.
The visuals are gorgeous as usual but I had no idea you could write that way. Well done Chris!
ahhhh appreciate that, thankyou!
