Such a great, playful, happy film too. We audience members almost never get to see the inside of the QEH like this - empty and free of any expectation. But it makes a perfect backdrop to this apparently impromptu performance, viewed, from the stage, out into the empty auditorium. I remember sitting a few seats away from Karlheinz Stockhausen in that space, many years ago. Many happy memories of performances and exciting cultural events in that space over the years. Thank goodness for the South Bank. Rakhi Singh embodies all the hope and vision for a future of music, and culture, and communication between people, combining excellence, deep understanding, huge skill and expertise, with a freedom of spirit, a light touch, and an invitation to everyone - to dive in and be a part of the experience.
Looking forward to the Rakhi Singh solo performance at Kings Place London on 10 June 2023.
Just fantastic, as ever.
Great, best regards from India !🙏
