I just rode this trail on Friday! Wicked stuff. I was riding a Transition Patrol demo bike for the first time and the dudes I was with were so damn good. Not much follow cam from that trail, they were GONE!
BKXC wait you did! I literally live like 30 minutes away from the trail! Omg! Please go to the Haskell canyon open space trail I literally live less than a minute away
Ha! Too funny, Thousand Oaks is my home town! Suicide is the classic dh bro lapper, good stuff. You should check out the backbone trail in the santa monicas if you're still around. Start from kanan tunnel 3 and head south towards Castro Motorway; really fun out and back
Just watched your Transition Patrol test ride, Grudge trail ride and this -- you guys are seriously fast!! Intrigued by the no-gloves approach to this trail -- my hands would have been sweating for sure!
Sad to say this trail looks A LOT different now due to fires and erosion. Crazy to think it used to look like it does in this video. Awesome footage as always!
At first I was like cool, I'm gonna try this trail next! But as I kept watching I whispered to myself...oooh k, I'm gonna need more practice"😅 Sick video though! 🤙
Do you have any tips on keeping your gimbal from bouncing around? If I hit trails like this it'll shake itself loose. Also, what angle do you try to set it at? Good riding dude. Y'all are beasts.
We're using the standard GoPro chesty mount and have it tightened as hard as possible. The angle varies from trail to trail, but you have to point it further down than you think.
That's a crazy trail. Great channel, I've been out with a compound fracture of the left clavicle for a couple months. Awesome to watch you guys ride while Im out. Thanks for the vids, just subscribed and spreading the word.
That was a long descent. I suspect it was also a long, brutal climb to get up to the top. Obviously a nice, mild spring day. I'd hate to do that climb in the summer.
Trail Peek cool. but what trails were you on because if u didn't hit chupacabra, lock em up, leafy flow, and dead campers you need to come back they are fun.
Trail Peek yeah for sure they are fun but some got messed up and there are some trails that are really hard to find like kimbo slice but I have yet to ride it bc my friend who has ridden it won't ride it again.
Unreal riding guys. Keep these videos coming brother I really appreciate your passions for riding. Is this trail easy to find in Thousand oaks?...Am definitely gonna hit it in May when am over that way. Cheers again bro!
Thanks Craig. Yep, really easy to find. Right here: www.strava.com/routes/7426413 Oak Canyon Park. We put our route to our rides in the description of every video so you guys can go hit the same trails we do!
Hey can you post some strava routes to your favorite tahoe and auburn rides too? would like to ride there, i'm sure the locals who dig the trails wouldn't mind, thanks.
We did a full guide on Auburn here: ua-cam.com/video/-Hz25qIz5UQ/v-deo.html We'll be doing a lot in Tahoe in the summer when everything is rideable again
I just got home from riding it for the third time, and it's way different now. Had to watch someone shred down it properly though...and you guys delivered!
ive ridden those trails never know wat the name of section is tht im riding cuz i just wing it like that trail over there looks fun get there. sometimes i get lost but i got gps to get me back.
Are you close to Thousand Oaks? The climbing route to the top of Suicide, Dead Cow, would be pretty close to what you're looking for. It doesn't have any jumps though.
Did you guys hit any other trails down here? thousand oaks is maybe 1 hr to 120 away. depending on traffic. I think i could make it down, but some of those 4-5 ft drops seem intimidating, even though ive never had any problems going off 2-3 fters
Justin Haha I'm glad someone caught that! I was fully setup and looking at the trail thinking it went left, then realized it went right... nothing a little two wheel drift can't fix haha
I don't think that the middle line they took at 3:35 is the same now. It definitely sets up coming off the drop off better than either the left or the right sides.
I just rode this trail on Friday! Wicked stuff. I was riding a Transition Patrol demo bike for the first time and the dudes I was with were so damn good. Not much follow cam from that trail, they were GONE!
It's a crazy trail! We rode the Patrol a few months back, that'd be good bike for this trail!
I was hoping you'd get on a Patrol sometime! That's my bike!
BKXC wait you did! I literally live like 30 minutes away from the trail! Omg! Please go to the Haskell canyon open space trail I literally live less than a minute away
Yeah boys! That looks rad! Way to almost stack it at the bottom. haha
Nate Hills | You should ride there!
No gloves on THAT trail.......confidence!!!
Suicide trail and jabbawalkie are the top Trail Peeks rides for 2017! Freaking unbelievable!
I can keep watching that over and over. Classic trail peeks ride!
Ha! Too funny, Thousand Oaks is my home town! Suicide is the classic dh bro lapper, good stuff. You should check out the backbone trail in the santa monicas if you're still around. Start from kanan tunnel 3 and head south towards Castro Motorway; really fun out and back
Awesome. That trail is nuts! The rain was coming the day after we rode this so we went back home. We'll have to check out Backbone next time!
You guys are so fast, you must get a lot of mileage out of your brake pads.
Just watched your Transition Patrol test ride, Grudge trail ride and this -- you guys are seriously fast!! Intrigued by the no-gloves approach to this trail -- my hands would have been sweating for sure!
U guys are sick! Enjoying all the rad line vids! Keep it up! I can only dream!
WOW!! That is some Rowdy trail!! Great video sir!!
Sad to say this trail looks A LOT different now due to fires and erosion. Crazy to think it used to look like it does in this video. Awesome footage as always!
Super great video! My favorite thus far crazy to see that air!!!
Sweet, thanks! You could really send that booter as far as you wanted. Such a hard hit for the bike though haha
Always the best from y'all! I crashed real hard on a loose section of that trail, tore my thumb ligament :-(
Dude that looks like a super fun trail!! Love the little booters throughout

Thanks for watching!
what kind of gimbal do you use?? I am in search of one for my chest mount.
where are your 1 million subscribers?! this video was crazy! 👍
I wish! Maybe someday we'll get there! Thanks for watching!
Sweet. Thank you!
Whow, that jump! Right in the flat. What was that bike that took it that well?
Dane's riding a Bronson. Zach is on a Remedy 9.8
Nice one chaps
Wow that is a wide trail
That's a crazy trail. Great channel, I've been out with a compound fracture of the left clavicle for a couple months. Awesome to watch you guys ride while Im out. Thanks for the vids, just subscribed and spreading the word.
Sorry about that man! Glad we're keeping you entertained while you're getting through your injury!
I love it "dang Randy!"
Send it Randy!
How was that arm pump at the end ?...did you guys bottom out the front suspension?...trail looks brutal !
We were feeling it a little bit after two laps. Definitely did a full bottom out on that huck to flat!
What type of bike it and I’m planning to start mountain bike
You didn't happen to check out Wildwood Park while you were in town did you? There's some great riding out there, highly recommend.
No we didn't get over there. Just Santa Barbara, Simi Valley and this trail. We'll put it on the list for next time!
there's riding to be had in thousand oaks? where have I been??
Crazy trail! Do you use a gimbal? If so ,is it a 3 axis or 2?
Yep, the Feiyu Tech Wg 3 axis
That was a long descent. I suspect it was also a long, brutal climb to get up to the top. Obviously a nice, mild spring day. I'd hate to do that climb in the summer.
The climb is pretty tough but gets you back up pretty quick
That was chunky. Nice air off that big jump. What tires you guys running? Love the vids.
Thanks! Right now right now we're running Bontrager SE5 Team Issue front and rear.
Thanks guys. Keep the vids coming. I have to admit... I'm hooked.
You guys should come ride the ucsc trails. also is the remedy playful and how does it ride?
Campus is awesome! We rode there in the Hightower test ride video. The Remedy is great, full review here trailpeek.com/portfolio/remedy-9-8-review/
Trail Peek cool. but what trails were you on because if u didn't hit chupacabra, lock em up, leafy flow, and dead campers you need to come back they are fun.
Chupa and Lock em up are sick. Between all the times we've ridden there we've hit just about all of them! Need to get back soon though!
Trail Peek yeah for sure they are fun but some got messed up and there are some trails that are really hard to find like kimbo slice but I have yet to ride it bc my friend who has ridden it won't ride it again.
Hell of a ride... gotta be rough on the joints.

We'll be doing a lot in Tahoe in the summer when everything is rideable again
Thank you so much!...Awesome work I 'd love to catch up with you guys on the trail sometime. Cheers mate!
short but sweet!
It feels even shorter after doing the steep rocky climb to the top!
You guys probably went up dead cow. You guys still in town or headed out?
This was the last day of the trip. We headed back home before the next series of storms hit.
I just got home from riding it for the third time, and it's way different now. Had to watch someone shred down it properly though...and you guys delivered!
Nice trail
ive ridden those trails never know wat the name of section is tht im riding cuz i just wing it like that trail over there looks fun get there. sometimes i get lost but i got gps to get me back.
Fun trail.

A+.
You and BKXC have similar Logos. ..and I just saw BKXC video on this. lol. Nice riding bro! I sub.
Yeah BK changed his recently. Ours has been the same from the start ;) thanks for checking out our videos
Cool 👍
Question - do you guys know a place that would be a step down from this trail? i.e smaller doubles, and smaller hucks?
Are you close to Thousand Oaks? The climbing route to the top of Suicide, Dead Cow, would be pretty close to what you're looking for. It doesn't have any jumps though.
Did you guys hit any other trails down here? thousand oaks is maybe 1 hr to 120 away. depending on traffic. I think i could make it down, but some of those 4-5 ft drops seem intimidating, even though ive never had any problems going off 2-3 fters
We rode Santa Barbara, Simi Valley, and here. Lots of fun stuff at all those places. There are ride arounds for every feature on this trail.
Do you know the address to that trail.
And 4:46 was pretty funny. Nice save. Hahaha
Justin Haha I'm glad someone caught that! I was fully setup and looking at the trail thinking it went left, then realized it went right... nothing a little two wheel drift can't fix haha
Me suscribo 😎👍 MTB 💘
yeeuuhh bois
Endurbro way of life!
Flow flow flow
U gotta be on platform pedals on these type of trails
This is the kind of trail you want to be clipped in. I don't want to worry about my feet going anywhere.
awesome!
Brave souls!!!
I don't think that the middle line they took at 3:35 is the same now. It definitely sets up coming off the drop off better than either the left or the right sides.
I think you are correct, that line is gone(no more dirt). It’s all rock now through the middle.
yeeeewww
Gnarlyness! You guys ripped it! Like and Sub!
Did u shuttle?
Nope, the only way to the top is by pedaling!
Trail Peek damn!, how rounds can u guys ride per day?
How the HELL is Dane able to pick those lines the very first ride, every time?
broken gimbal? really shaky footage
Yeah the gimbal is on its last legs for sure.
Are you using the Feiyu Tech gimbal or something else?
Yeah, we're using the Feiyu.
fark you boys can ride!
"Dang randy!"
fwiw the trail is on Agoura Hills, not thousand oaks
neil macmillan can I please ask how to get there
Luis Mendez just search on Strava or geoladders or traikforks
norcal goons, socal turf
Holy Fack I need to spend more time is Socal. Santa Cruz pails in comparison!
If you're looking for tech and rocks, its hard to beat SoCal
How's that Trek treating you? I had a Slash 9 for 3 yrs and loved every blessed minute of it. Good bikes.
It's been good, just not a fan of the quirky shock.
Fox or rockshox?
do you ride the at not exactly legal trails Ucsc?
I have to visit this trail someday.... unlike my trail in OC is full of inconsiderate hikers not picking up their dog shit...
no gloves???
Sometimes it's nice to go without them
Trail Peek can you guys please tell me how to get there
No time to talk on this trail huh??? Hahahahaha
Randy as in TPB?!? Lol
Randy Bobandy!
Trail Peek Lol!! Randy man
Chunky
Hey man, I live in the area and would love to show you around some of my favorite trails. HMU if you want to ride sometime
Next time we head south!
😶
just want to say I love your bike. I just got myself a 2017 remedy 9.8
Thanks Nathan. We'll be doing a bike check on both bikes soon!
